  • Honestly, none of them have really captured my interest that much. Kate is okay, Tripp is kinda cool, Gabe is a fuckwad. I'm impressed with Javi. I thought I'd like him a lot less than I actually do. So I guess I'm going with him. I'm also a fan of David, his voice actor in particular.

  • Conrad but that isn't saying much. In fact now I think about it, isn't he one of the few characters that has a clear character arc?

  • Javi easily, but concerning characters we don't play as (and those that aren't featured in the comics), I just love Tripp.

Javier by a mile, but if we arnt including characters we play as then Id say Kate, with Tripp as a solid second.

Edit: Mariana was honestly becoming my absolute favorite character but then you know, gotta get that really good writing in with an exact same SHOCK VALUE death as Michonne.

  • I guess Javier.
I like Tipp...Tripp?? idk the guy with the white beard.
    ALso Jesus because...Garrus

    I would say Mariana but...y'know.

  • Javier
    Kate
    Mariana
    Eleanor

I'm not stuck on Clementine as being the be all, end all so i'm very open to liking the new characters.

  • Clem
    Mariana
    Jesus

    Thats it.

  • From favorite to least, oh boy
    1. Mariana - even though... you know what
    2. Javi - I like him a lot more than i expected
    3. Kate - I think she's a good character and i really don't want her to die
    4. Eleanor - She's been nice to me the whole time, so she's good in my book
    5. Gabe - He's annoying, but he has some potential for a good character

  • Mariana and Kate, that's it.

  • I really like Javi, Kate, Tripp, and Eleanor the most.

But if I had to pick just one, it'd have to be Javi. There's just something so refreshing about him.

I like Ava(despite sounding little like I thought) and Max. Out of the main characters, Kate is also pretty cute and I wanna say Javier is at least engaging.

  • ...Holy shit, he's gonna be the new Nick, isn't he?

  • Javier. Now, my favorite non-playable character? Definitely going with Tripp (he reminds me of Abraham Ford)... obviously, Clem is my favorite character of all time (not just in TWD or video-games: in everything)

  • Surprisingly, almost all the protagonists and sidekicks. (not in order)

Javier - When telltale first revealed him, i didnt join the hate bandwagon, and i waited to play as him myself. Boy would you look at that. I freaking love Javier.

Kate - Flirty and cute. Realistic. I like her.

Gabe - Mood swings and all but is trying to become a better person. I like him

Mariana - Love her so much, she takes number one spot. But, damn telltale.

Tripp - Abraham Ford? with Kenny's temper and traits? yes please

Eleanor - Kind, and like the nicest angel ever.

I didn't think I'd like him, but i really do think Javier is a great character.

    He'd effing better protect Clem.

  • 1.Mariana - Too good for this world. (Getting tired of your crap Telltale...)
2.Javier - Likable protagonist, reminds me of Luke for some reason Idk.
    3. Eleanor - Javinor? no? ok...
4.Tripp - Seems like a decent enough dude.
    5. Gabe - Just please don't be the next Ben. Please!

Tripp is honestly the only new character I like.

And I know he is going to die because he is that kind of character. You know, the kind of character that always dies in this kind of media.

The big, kinda bossy guy with a big heart that at some point stops bossing around and just somehow starts following the orders of the scrawny protagonist. The guy that probably has some serious training and would probably have little to no trouble surviving in real life, but end up getting killed anyway. Maybe writers do it as a way to say "See? When even the best prepared people can die, nobody is safe". Not that we need this reminder, since this trope was used so many times.

I give him one more episode, one and a half at most.

  • 2.Javier - Likable protagonist, reminds me of Luke for some reason Idk

That was the obvious comparison when he was first revealed. Heck, you should see his concept art

  • I sort of like Gabes potential, if I can ignore is stupid name. Javier is perfectly acceptable as a vessel

    The rest ...eh

I dig practically every character so far this season (Yeah, even Gabe). I thought that girl Clem met was pretty cool, but got immediately bummed as soon as she said she was with the New Frontier. I'm hoping Clem and her can reconnect, and that she didn't turn out to be a bitch, because man she seemed great.

I will say though that Javi is such a fantastic protagonist. I wasn't feeling too sure before playing after seeing all those negative threads, but wow he immediately impressed after just a few short conversations. He's shaping up to be one of Telltale's best leads.

  • It was Mariana, now probably Eleanor (not counting Clem)

  • I cant really get past how weird her model looks to be honest, they all have a weird uncanny feels this season but hers is the worst. Also her character like the beard guys make no sense unless their traitors. They just join up with these random people who got their community destroyed.

  • My favorite is Javi, enjoying his character a lot.

Gonna make sure to buy baseball jerseys because of him lol. They look cool.

  • Honestly, Tripp is probably the only one of the new characters who doesn't irk me. Are we counting Jesus as a new character? I'm pretty indifferent to him, but hearing Garrus talk was definitely a highlight of the episodes.

  • Liking Javier so far, I'm playing him somewhat even tempered and level headed. I was actually liking Calvin at first but now... not so much. Tripp is okay I guess, his character seems a little haywire, one second he's raging and the next he's all "okay, boss". Jesus is cool, Kate's alright but I'm not crazy about her. Not sure I trust Elenor. Gabe needs some time to grow but I think he'll turn out alright.

  • Javier
    Kate

  • Javier: he's okay I guess.
Kate: lol dude weed lmao. There is something good about her insecurities at being a mother, but they get overshadowed by silly jokes and shipping fuel with Javier. Terrible.
Mariana: sweet cinnamon roll, too pure for this world. I knew from the moment she was introduced that she existed solely to be killed in a shocking way, but it still was.
Gabriel: he's at least the third good meaning young man who tends to screw up, depending on how you count. Let's see what they'll do with him.
David: meh. I reserve my judgement on him. I hope he's not just the thousandth iteration of the post apocalyptic bandit leader. It seems cheap to bring him back though.
Max: a reasonable antagonist. I still don't get why he goes crazy when you simply shove his friend aside.
Tripp: he's the new Kenny, for good or ill.
Eleanor: not much to say. She seems nice enough, but she rubs me the wrong way.
Conrad: he was alright at first, and I can understand his reasons for to be mad and for wanting to use Clementine as a bargaining chip with the New Frontier, but he snapped completely when he took Gabe hostage. A decent character anyway, even if very predictable.
Paul "Jesus": I don't like him in the other Walking Dead things, and it probably won't change.
Clementine: she's basically a new character now. Remembered how Telltale hammered us with #MyClementine back in Season 2? Yeah, well it doesn't really matter. Clem is just a generic edgy badass girl at this point. She's also pretty dumb.

  • I am slowly becoming as invested in Javier as I did with Rodrik. :)

    1. Kate
    2. Mariana
    3. Javi
    4. Max
    5. Tripp
    6. Gabe (just as long as he doesn't get handsy with Clem)

All of whom pale in comparison to Clementine. But its a good cast all around really.

  • I loved Edith, this Season!

  • She is too dead to be. She really could have been though

    Mariana.

  • Gabriel, he's the only character that really seems to struggle with himself besides Clementine.

    1. Javier: Cool protagonist
    2. Tripp: My favourite douchebag
    3. Eleanor: She looks like a female version of Nathan Drake
    4. Kate: She is fine
    5. Gabe: Fuck this kid
    6. Conrad: I find him annoying but I felt bad for shooting him
    7. Mariana: She could have been interesting. Now she is dead
  • Mariana, really wish they didn't kill her.

  • All of them are great, but I really like Tripp. Makes me wonder what happened to Grace though.
