He had the opposite effect of Eleanor on me; I instantly trusted Tripp. It will really hurt if he betrays Javi later down the line, although I think he will die before that can happen because that's just what happens to big guys with big hearts in this kind of story.

I think telltale gave up on developing characters at this point because there s little to no character development in New frontier up until … morenow and we re already halfway thought the season. If you ask me telltale got lazy and split the supposed extremely big episode 1 which was 2 hours long just because they got lazy.
