Don't even call this a season 3, it's an insult to season 1 and season 2. Call this a whole new game like Michonne series
As a user said before it does remind me of a poorly written parody of telltales walking dead series which is in reality suppose to be a continuation of the series.
I prefer calling ANF dlc ,since it's story is totally different from the older two,and also it doesnt have the quality which S1 and S2 have.Here's how S3 should be:
Lets talk about ANF first,it is..well..ok.But comparing to S1 and S2,it is bad.Because we don't really care about Javier and his family,or more precisely,we care more about Clementine,Kenny,Jane(And I still don't want to believe telltale killed Kenny...)so ,Telltale,you can make ANF a bonus season,and the followings are my ideas for Season 3:
1.S3 story can start after S2 ending and before Kenny's and Jane's death.And in it ,Clem should be 11-12 years old,telltale can just use the Clementine model in S2.
2.Telltale can separate S3 into 4 parts,each with its own story,about what happened after S2 4 endings:Stay with Kenny or Jane,or in Wellington,or alone.teeltale can make each around 3-5 episodes long.And most importantly,MAKE CLEMENTINE THE MAIN PLAYABLE CHARACTER.
3.I don't mind telltale changing back to the S2 art style,I know you guys are getting better and better about graphics,but guess what,I like S2's artstyle just as much as S3's .So if it help you guys focus more about the story and make OUR CHOICE MATTERS MORE,I would be glad if you guys use the S2's artstyle.
4.In case,due to ANF,some players might think it is wasting time to play the S3 because it doesnt matter in the future.Telltale,you can tell the players that the ANF is just a bonus season,nd make a S4 or something like that,which story start after ANF,in it ,the choices you make in S3 will influence the story,like some people appear in S3 can return,something like that.That will solve their problem.
These are my ideas.And if you really think about them,THEY ACTUALLY WORKS PRETTY WELL.think about it:
1.Telltale kill Kenny and Jane,making a lot of players mad,and they created some whole new character that a lot of players don't really want to know.If Telltale could do S3 like what I suggest,or just using it as the main idea,people will feel happy as they are going to see and survive ,explore the TWD world with Kenny and Jane again(I dont think it would be a problem to make a new story with charcters that players already know they will die in the future,because its KENNY and JANE.I bet players will be happier if you make a whole new season with them rather than if you just do NOTHING.Trust me,almost everyone dont care the fact they are dead right now,we just want to see them more.),and play as the beloved character-Clementine,the only one that really matters in the TWD series.Telltale,that's how you can make a Good story to make people feel like they are attached to the character in the game.You have done it well in S1 and S2,please,we want the feeling back.
2.In the ANF series,the story merely mention anything about what happened after S2 ending, i meant in at least 1 -2 year after it.So telltale, it would be easier cause you guys dont have to worry about conflict between story.
3.it is the best way to start a story with Clementine.I guess we all know that The TWD series can be so successful,it is all because of her.She is the one that matters the most.I can hardly think anyone will refuse a whole new season with Clementine as the main character.Old players who have played S1 or S2 would definitely love it,and new players will come in too.It wont hurt to make a new story with her,in fact,I think it definitely will helps.(It's how you can get your lovers back,Telltale!)

Its not S3
they shouldve kept more characters alive or brought back more characters from previous seasons. Now weve only got Clem who doesnt fit into the story IMO because it revolves around Javi and his family. That's why it doens't feel like a continuation of S2
Its season three. People need to accept that and stop making poor excuses as to why its not. Also, aren't all the telltale games dlc since their released digitally at first?
I see it more as a spinoff that was obligated to include Clementine because of the fanbase/sale-figures and thus it kinda fails to truly be it's own thing or a continuation.

I agree. It has a real spin-off feel. Clementine feels shoe-horned in to me. I think ANF would actually be better without her.
Criticizing the game is okay, but please keep it at that and please refrain from personally attacking/spacegoating writers. This only applied to one specific comment which I flagged, but I'm leaving this up as a general heads up anyways.

This game is poor now and to be honest it has been going downhill since S2.
Javi is such a boring uninspiring character to play as and the story overall is hardly compelling, so much for this 'New Angle' they banged on about before S3. Where is it going exactly?
It's obvious to me that since the lead writer of S1 left Tell Tale they have failed to appoint someone just as good for TWDG.

Mostly agree with you.ANF is really poorly written,but what you says about S2,in my opinion,S2 is probably the best game I have ever played,I guess S1 is just too dark for me,dont get me wrong. S1 is great,too.Anyway,they didnt do well in ANF.That's for sure.
I really enjoyed S1 and S2, ANF is OK, but it could be way better. Selling point for me was/is Clementine. If they hadn't included her, I wouldn't have bought ANF. I also didn't buy and play Michonne. The Walking Dead Game is primarily about Clementine for me. Since she, along with Lee and Kenny, were the focal point. Since everyone's dead but Clementine, she's the focal point (for me) now.
I thought at the time that S2 was bad because I was comparing it with S1, but now ANF is out and comparing it to S2 makes S2 look great because ANF is the biggest pile of garbage I've ever seen from a TellTale game.
Teltale are just doing it for the money now, they obviously don't care about standards, very lazy of them and if it was me I would of ended TWDG after S2 as S3 is an insult and it leaves the series with a bad taste.
I hope they can pull themselves out with a good Season Four. Maybe they can root back to a Season One or a Season Two.
Oh boy how I'd enjoy 1.5-2h+ episodes including hubs with diverse dialogue options, including Clem of course (doesn't need to be playable, but a main/major character).
And if they keep a good portion of the current cast alive, and don't kill off everyone but Clem again, we'd have a solid starting point with a group.

I really doubt there will be any more series as ANF is a huge failure.
It could just be how I feel but I think not only the game but the whole Walking Dead franchise is starting to lose its appeal now especially with the TV series being poor lately. Kirkman just doesn't know where to end it. It's gone on for too long.
