the Winslow one is essentially just a HiRez (was a HiRez) screen capture from the actual game on graphic setting 9, with ever so slightly different lighting, camera angle, and pose
ill eventually get more of these in Higher Resolutions. I'm just looking for the best hosting solution, as I don't have the permissions to put them up myself.
It couldnt be a wallpaper of the last take of chapter 2
(the "swallowing")
with a nicer angle, could it?
It would be really nice, but im sure that it would be "off limits", since maybe we arent supposed to get a better look at it until chapter 3.
The Morgan-Winslow one is a beaut! But I wonder why there weren't so many stars in the actual game. Visuals of that kind would overwhelm me with joy! We only had a misty, murky night...
I'm sorry, I lied. That starry sky is apparently not visible in game (don't know why) it only seems to be showing up in the development tool, or I might have tweaked something and made it visible (by accident)
How bout a special Maya rendering, where McGillicutty is holding Guybrush's neck on the deck of his ship, and Winslow is firing a canon at it, while the Mer-Leader is being dunked into the ocean, and water is splashing out of the ocean and onto the deck, this also must, include an epic lighting affect.
Or, if it's to hard, how bout just one with McGillicutty confronting the Mer-Leader?
Okay, so, using my state of the art technology involving a Vaio laptop, an LG HD Ready television and a lot of lag, I've managed to pull together:
And yes, that is just the thumbnail, because not everybody has nice broadband, and yes, you are required to use your point and click skills to get the actual image.
EDIT: Is wide-screen achieved by cropping the image? Since I don't think it's the other way around, which must mean it's either letterboxed in 4:3 or cropped in 16:9.
^ that is a really nice shot. I'm sure you are just as capable as I am, but if you'd like I could wallaperize it with the Monkey Island Logo and Host it.
I just made another one that is very similar, I essentially just "re-worked" my original Morgan to be a night scene.

I would love that, I was just too afraid to ask.
Anyway, I just made a few more, as a test (actually, just to test my patience).
I've made quite a lot of screenshots, but either they looked too dynamic or one had his eyes closed. In my opinion a good screenshot is one where the focal point has its eyes opened, unless closed eyes fit the scene (like the hug I screencapped).

Wait, be right back... in a few days...
Could you post it? I wanna save it and use it as a wallpaper.
...I was already thinking of making something from the intro with Demon LeChuck...
Great idea, the intro was fantastic.Anything from it should do, but mostly LeChuck.

again sorry about the mis-information
Not sure if its exactly the same, but i i think it is.
Also, one for each character.
It would by the way also be nice to have SD versions.

that would be sweet! would useing SE Ghost LeChuck be a good idea or would that be copyright by lucus arts

Whoo! Better then the first! Now can you do one with Elaine?

Those are all great screencaps, but this last one is just adorable. I'd love to see it as a wallpaper.
But 1440x900, please?
Nice pic, that one!
Those are great! Is there a chance we'll see any Narwhalpapers?
Requesting an Anemonopply one please
Which ones and what is wrong with them?
only (1920 x 1200) at the moment, my Flickr is full
