    It's the loading screen!/ It's the loading screen!/ I can't believe this background,/ Is just Telltale's loading screen!

I do feel though that Nick's wallpapers have way better lighting. In my opinion most of the renders I made look too plastic.

It's just because I have the benefit of being able to move the characters and lights around (and I do a little contrast/color balancing) Your stuff looks really good, plus you have a much faster turn around :)

All these wall papers made me giggle like a school girl ... which is my normal giggle, actually, but still, they're all so beautiful!

Ryan's concept art is so cool.
I'd love to see a wallpaper with the concept art of Elaine in colour that is currently used on Telltale's website.

made a very minor update to the Elaine Wallpaper, you probably wont be able to tell the difference but... also going to start working on the Elaine from the front page of the webpage as soon as we are not quite as busy over here.

I don't think I am allowed to do any characters that haven't appeared in a "Tales" of Monkey Island game. Sorry :(

I was expecting that, this is why I added "when the time is right" :)
Thank you! I did notice a certain lack of Guybrush in your wallpapers. I know he appeared in a "Tales" of Monkey Island game :p

How about Guybrush in a very piratey posture, with a sword or something.

(I know everybody is asking and demanding wallpapers, so take your time. I'm patient. :D)

^This is the guy who's given Telltale a ton of free advertising through movies and cartoon voice overs.

Silverwolfpet, DEMAND WHAT IS theoretically YOURS! YOU DON'T NEED PATIENCE; YOU NEED RESULTS

Just kidding. That was fun. Keep up the good work.

I already have a good one done that I can't post just yet, but I'll do a Guybrush one next. I thought there was a good Guybrush Wallpaper out there already but maybe I'm wrong.

    Awww, c'mooon.... You're making me blush. :p

Mr. TesterNick, Sir, there are wallpapers with Guybrush, but I wanted to see how piratey he can get. Besides, with your creative tools, who knows how you can surprise us even more! (translation: Me wanna!)

Anyway, the wallpaper that you might create could have something to do with another certain thing later which I will not say anything about (translation: You'll get it later :p)

    Dear Telltale Santa,

I've been a good fan and, if you still have something in that big sack of goodies, I would like a wallpaper with the mug of Sister Agnes. Pretty please with a cherry on top?

    Thank you!!

Forgot to mention that the latest wallpaper was inspired by the AMAZING 'I wonder what happens in...' flash series by Majus, Martin, Silverwolfpet, and others.

edit: AAARRGHH! Majus you beat me to it! Yea I had a lot of fun making this because it is a piece of art based on a game that hadn't come out yet, and then re-imagined in the game engine based on the original art.

    Oh...my...God...

Yes, I suppose Martin will go like BLARGHBLUARBLEEARGHBLUB! :p

Upon looking at them side by side I noticed my ship was missing a shadow, so I added one in real quick and replaced the old one, so if you downloaded it already replace it with the new and improved one.

Great job on all your wallpapers Nick they are all awesome. I'd love to see a wallapaper with just Elaine and Morgan though.
  • edited September 2009
I know that you are probably inundated

There is a Wallpaper I saw somewhere someone made out of the conept art for Guybrush and another for Elaine.
any chance of something similar with Morgan?

or the moment of Morgan and Guybrush looking at each other in the leviathan conversation (even better against a Starry background!) LOL

seriously though Thank you for indulging us all.

Turok I am not suppose to make anything too far from what happens in the games, however if Elaine and Morgan meet up in a future episode i will then be able to make a wallpaper with them both in it.

BobTGoldfish I am planning on making more concept art wallpapers, sorry it is taking me so long.

I have 2 more finished wallpapers that I am waiting for approval on, though one may never see the light of day :(

So with that being said, is out of the question if you make a wallpaper spoofing a Jaws poster but instead of the Shark it's a MANATEEE!

I thought that would be somthing really interesting and cool.

That is an awesome idea! I'll have to run it by the producers.

I would still like one with the pyrite parrot.. It would be perfect one from the fight scene with Morgan in Chapter 2, when you offer her the parrot and it pops out on Guybrush's shoulder, while he's holding the sword too... But I would like the hook to be visible as well!

I have gotten this request (in various iterations) from quite a few people so this will most likely be my next project.

Edit: I would like to know what environment is the most popular for this to take place in? (has to be somewhere Guybrush has been, and Might have a reason to take out his sword.)
