tbh I really don’t like this update at all, like it might be because I’m on mobile, but it’s already a headache trying to maneuver. I updated my notification preferences to get a notification for whatever I can and now I’m not getting any notifications at all so that’s awesome

I tried the "Log Out" option under my Account page. It worked. I try to sign in again, and I get greeted by my Account page. Moving to the community section, the site tells me I am not "Signed in" so I can't reply or post comments. Clicking the "Sign In" button leads me to what should be the "Sign In Page" in the Account section, but it says I'm already signed in. Currently posting from my laptop that is not yet signed out. So... My phone's webpage can't hold on to the fact that I'm signed in after navigating from my Account page to the forums.
Also, seeing the page on a glass screen with glare from the sun behind me is not fun. I can't distinguish the reds from the yellows of the replies.

Hey, the old comments still have the same amount of likes as before, which means they didn't delete them or anthing. Soo, could we have our total number of likes back?

Having spent a bit looking through threads here, I really don't know how anyone could think that this linear style makes for more orderly and less confusing discussions than the previous reddit-style system. This linear style is a horrid design choice, bound to confuse a great many people. And well, didn't they make the decision to move on from it years ago? This feels like a serious downgrade and I really can't see what benefits this offers over the design we had for years now.
Agreed. Honestly, can it be a lot more downgraded than this? For fanfictions such as your or mine this is probably as bad as it gets. Thank god for the PMs though.

Unfortunately, when I saw this new update i got my hopes up for two new things. New avatars and the ability to change the forum back round color to make it easier to read. (I have extremely bad eye sight due to a medical condition) but alas, neither was an update.

All Discussion Sections (With threads showing up) are separated. It was easier when they were put in one page.

Something positive I can say is the avatar for banned people. I don't know if there are dofferemt icons, as I only have come across MrJava who is banned, but the icon was pretty funny. A good ol' walker.
All my messages that were spammed down are back. And to leave the conversation I have to go to the bottom of the message. Great now I have to go through porn again.
Don't want to be a depressive ass but I don't really like this format. Colours and the reply system are really not my cup of tea. It's the main reason I don't comment on some other forums [with this style] as much as I do here.

Private discussions are still accessed on users profile pages by clicking the "message" button.

The reply system is very bad, having a text below that says "In reply to______" isn't enough.

One thing I can say is that I'm glad I can consistently post comments here without being forced to take a security check that will not work.
Might take some time getting used to the new forum layout, but that's pretty much a given with every change made.
