Abel will remember that:
-He got pushed by Clementine and then bitten by a walker, forced to cut his arm to survive (determinant)
-Got his nose broken
-Got hitted in the nuts by Clementine
-Got impaled on his foot with a fork (I guess) by AJ
-Threw from a balcony by Clem
-Got his leg twisted after he fell from the balcony
-And then was taken hostage
Surely they must hate this character.
It's Kirkman apocalypse rules. If you either cover yourself in their guts or wear their skin, they won't perceive you as dinner. I'm assuming you don't read the comics with this comment? Well, I won't spoil it, but, James was part of a much larger group that fought Rick Grimes' communities.
The shrapnel thing is, again, Kirkman apocalypse logic. Just because their blood gets inside of you, doesn't mean you'll turn, for instance, characters have scars, cuts, scratches, etc. and fight off walkers all the time yet they don't turn (from blood splatter).
There were clearly some odd things about Episode 2. Firstly, how did James manage to walk through all the walkers without covering himself i… moren their guts? I get that he acted like them but surely the walkers would smell him?
Also, how did Clem manage to get the shrapnel out of AJ with a knife she was literally using to kill walkers 30 seconds earlier without getting him infected? Mad Ting.

On par with Done Running, 9/10. Let's hope the second half (if it ever comes) will be just as good.

A solid 8/10 as an episode. As the finale? 5/10, maybe lower.
