I'm sure you do, most people pretend to care to make themselves look better though, it's called virtue signaling. I for one, will just be perfectly honest, I do not care as long as the episodes are released.
If they had money, they would. I say let them first fulfill their contract with Netflix, talk with those partners. It'll give them a chance to maybe, just maybe, bounce back and earn enough money to eventually pay those employees because sooner or later they are going to have to. Atm those people have legal options to sue Telltale for this money and they would win but none of them done so because they know that there is no money to sue them for right now.
I definetely DO care, but yeah let's just get those episodes out by any means necessary before we worry bout anything else. Plus honestly th… moree best chance for them to get their severance or be rehired is for this deal to go through, so it's a win win for both parties anyway.

A game is made by people and shaped by their views and beliefs.
Saying they should keep politics out of games is like saying keep the human nature out of games, which - in this case - would be catastrophic, because The Walking Dead relies heavily on that.
I believe they totally should unless they want legal problems later on but like I said - if they had any money right now, they probably would. You think anyone, even in management, from Telltale wanted this to happen? I doubt it. If they won't fail now to convince those "partners" to help them out, they may yet be able to pay severence to former employees but if they fail... well... then there won't by any money to anyone.

Yeah, that makes sense. Pete Hawley doesn't come off as some kind of asshole, who'd gladly fuck an entire company over. At least as far as I can tell, but the devs might have a more complete picture of him as a person.

No but I've seen people shit over him recently. You think he wanted any of this? Granted he made mistakes, there is no doubt about it but unlike Kevin Bruner, I believe he genuinely tried to save the company. He just ran out of time.
My theory for the current situation is that Telltale actually has some money, otherwise they'd file a bankruptcy. Whether they have enough to pay severence is another matter. What I'm getting at is that I believe that Pete along with the company tries to find a solution to avoid Telltale's death. By that I mean, a solution which doesn't end in the shutdown of company. Either that or he is trying to find a way to satisfy as many people as he can before the end which would be finishing up both Netflix deal and TFS and earning enough money from that to pay severence.

No, they didn't deserve this. I think we can all accept that Telltale handled this situation in the worst possible way. If they knew the situation was this dire they should have stopped hiring and given notice and severance to these people when they still had the money to do so. They shouldn't have started putting out new game content that they knew they couldn't complete either. But, realistically, what are they going to pay them with now? As long as the company doesn't go bankrupt, they still have an obligation to those employees. The only way that they can pay them though is to get more money in, and to do that they need to complete their projects. My thinking is that if you pull support from Telltale you are basically ensuring that nobody get anything at all...
I do care. Why wouldn't I care about 250 people who made some of my favorite games but lost their jobs without anything? They got fucked over. They didn't deserve this.
I might sound selfish, but reading how many companies are opening their doors to hire the employees who got laid off by TT, my concern as a customer and a fan of the series is oriented more towards the conclusion of the game itself.
Its not wrong to feel that way, you can sympathize with the employees but in the end its not your fault or responsibility that they lost their jobs, that’s on who made the call.

Well...no. This episode proved that Telltale can do gameplay right (Im referring at the bow fight at the end) so it will be very sad if we don’t see it through the end
Yes but for this kind of quality and soul to be back, Telltale would've to bring back the now former devs and I don't see that happening. Not after how they were treated.

And I might sound selfish, but I actually don't want any of the devs to go. It sounds so painfully idiotic, yeah, but I don't want TFS' orginal group to get disbanded. Again, it sounds painfully idiotic and I am aware.

The important part is the artwork, since most of the writing is done. New characters that appear in Ep3 and 4 should look authentic to the current style we have.

You misinterpreted it, she is talking about the Telltale announcement. She is trying to say that she wants her ex-coworkers to get severance but she also wants TFS to be released in its entirety.

I might be wrong, but this employee is saying that she wants the heart and soul her coworkers putted into this series to shine, so maybe she is saying that basically the last 2 episodes dont require much work to be completed?

Can you tell me what kind of person I am? I'd really like to know.

No, you empathise with them for being treated this way, as do I, doesn't mean I give two shits whether they get paid severance or not.
First guess would be a social justice warrior, I might be wrong.
They could pay the severence later on, but I honestly don't think they will. But we have to see.
And what's the definition?
Stop with the fucking politics. We are here to discuss a game ffs.

I didn't say that politics in video games is bad. I said that politics here, on this forum, is bad.
Yeah, that makes sense. Pete Hawley doesn't come off as some kind of asshole, who'd gladly fuck an entire company over. At least as far as I can tell, but the devs might have a more complete picture of him as a person.
I mean, politics wasn't really the point here. More like ... economy and ethical?
Economy and ethics are not political????

Hehe, I always get banned if it gets political so imma just shut up now.
They are, but not the kind of politics that pisses off certain people.
Well, at least I hope.
That says way more about you than anything. But yeah, no need to get there.
I might sound selfish, but reading how many companies are opening their doors to hire the employees who got laid off by TT, my concern as a customer and a fan of the series is oriented more towards the conclusion of the game itself.

Me too. I really, REALLY want it to be playable episodes like others and not a comic or something like that.
None of us wants do but if it comes to that, it's better than nothing, right?
Well...no. This episode proved that Telltale can do gameplay right (Im referring at the bow fight at the end) so it will be very sad if we don’t see it through the end

You've never seen an argument between a socialist and free market capitalist then.

If another partner finished of episodes 3 and 4 they are welcomed to do so as long as it those not effect the quality of there games

Pretty sure the art for 3 was pretty much done too, any unique assets for 4 would still have to be made though.
Telltale has been hit with a lawsuit from layed off employees...this is very sad for everyone involved...but I think it was the right thing to do:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!
A CONFIRMED MEMBER OF THE SKELETON CREW MADE A COMMENT THAT SEEMS TO CONFIRM THAT TFS IS STILL WORKED ON
You misinterpreted it, she is talking about the Telltale announcement. She is trying to say that she wants her ex-coworkers to get severance but she also wants TFS to be released in its entirety.
I might have
Except every time a producer puts his political ideals in a game a female protagonist is made gay "kuch" TLOU "kuch"
So be it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
It has been many many years since I have last cried, but I think TFS Ep4 will end that streak.
When you finally accept it'll never be released?
I might be wrong, but this employee is saying that she wants the heart and soul her coworkers putted into this series to shine, so maybe she is saying that basically the last 2 episodes dont require much work to be completed?
So should we consider that episodes 3 and 4 are delayed or cancelled
