I hate to clog up the 'tubes with another thank you thread, but with chapter five imminent and Monkey Island once again about to sail off into the sunset until who-knows-when (me included!), I just wanted to take a moment to thank everybody who loves the series and has made its resurrection so exciting.
It probably goes without saying, but even if I hadn't been a huge fan of Monkey Island before getting to work on it, I can't imagine it not being the highlight of my time in voiceover. There's nothing else I've worked on where people love it so much, where they're so involved in its process, and where the stakes are so high... and the pressure so great :-)
But all of you have been incredibly kind and supportive, and while I imagined there would be a lot of excitement when Monkey Island's return was announced, reality has most definitely eclipsed my wildest expectations. The excitement, the support, the throngs at PAX, the e-mails, the drawings, the movies... criminy, the birthday wishes!...well, it's a thing to behold :-)
So I'm going to cut this short before I really start to ramble, but suffice it to say that while I appreciate the things you've had to say, I'm the one who should be thanking you, because I've been incredibly lucky to be able to work on Guybrush all these years, and it wouldn't mean anything without your support.
You guys absolutely rock, and I (really, really, really) hope we get to do this again soon!

We ought to be thanking you for all the wonderful emotions you gave us generously donating your voice to one of the most beloved of all adventure game characters, one which I, and obviously most of the other people on this board, love very much. You rock, buddy. Keep up the good work.
And then, won't there be a MI2SE nex year (hint hint)? We will hear your voice again then in one of the best MI of all times!
PS: If I have time, I'm going to post the recipe for traditional Bolognese Sauce (here in Bologna we call it "ragù") on your blog. Any guy who appreciates good food like you deserves an award.

So, a hearty 'cheers!' for all your hard work. The next time I chuckle at one of Guybrush's perfectly-delivered one-liners, I'll remember with fondness the friendly, geniune guy who gave our favourite pirate a voice.
It's so rare to hear a great performance from a guy who also knows AND loves the character he's voicing.
I thank you for the commitment and for the quality of your acting in Episode 5 (review copy here ), it was so emotional and deep, especially towards the end of the episode.
It's really awesome how much you talk to the fans, Dom. I appreciate you answering all those questions and doing interviews. I also appreciate the quality work you put in for Monkey Island. I hope you have much future success.

Mr. Armato, you have pretty much been my hero since the tender age of 7 when my dad first booted up Curse. Thank you so much for providing so many memories to us all. You are simply one of the most awesome people around.
You, sir, are the one to be thanked. It's your line delivery that made me a fan of MI. I can only hope that this isn't the last time you work with Telltale.
Thanks Dom for providing a great voice to a classic character. The voice of Guybrush could so easily have been messed up, as such it is of great relief that you got the gig. Also, having a real Monkey Island fan become the star of the series is fantastic. I look forward to hearing your work in MI2:SE and TOMI 2 (both of which will come along soon I'm sure)

I have follow suit. THANK YOU Dom for being Guybrush, once again. Without you it wouldnt of been anywhere near the same. Also thank you to Alexandra Boyd (if she actually reads this thread or even visits the board) and Earl Boen (again if he reads this thread or even vists the board.) As without you three its not Monkey Island, you put the Monkey in Monkey Island.
Lets just hope they make a MI-2 Remake and cast Dom, Alexandra & Earl for that and all future Monkey related projects! :D:D:D:D
