So, what sort of threads do you guys want to see in here? During Monkey we obviously did lots of Q&As and Ryan ran a concept art thread, I believe. I'm sure we'll do things like that. Any ideas?

I'd love to read about the music production of the games. Maybe Jared could provide some insight on the creating process, his inspirations or influences and also on the musicians themselves.

Of course I wouldn't mind some samples or outtakes, either. ;)

I'd like another chance to inject some fan humor into one of the chapters, like with the book titles from ToMI.

Wow! In only a month! How cool. I haven't read any Adèle Blanc-Sec, but I rather like Tardi... Well, the little I know of him. I loved La Débauche. Of course, Pennac wrote it, so I'm biased, but I liked Tardi's art.

Anyways, that movie looks pretty interesting. If you're wondering, in the end the guys says "I'm counting on you, gentlemen, for this file to stay confidential. Don't tell anything to the media".

I like how the actors' looks are obviously rather faithful to the graphic novel. It gives a weird atmosphere to the whole thing.

Considering Fifth Element was heavily inspired by Métal Hurlant, I'm not too surprised Besson is going for sequential art again. I'm looking forward to it.

I loved The Fifth Element! Moebius and Mezieres design was brilliant, and Willis and Jovovich performances too, as usual I dare add.

I really hope this is as good! Surely it's promising :)

I'm a comics/sequential-art/graphic-novel lover (in Italy they're simply called "fumetti", that is "smoke clouds", referring to the balloons), but never read anything by Tardi, I confess. In fact my library is not very rich in French/Belgian BD, just a little Moebius and Goscinny and little more :o

Yeah! This would be fun. I actually liked my contributions to the TMI one, but I was a little late. I'd like another crack at it.

They actually used one of mine, in a way. They asked for our pirate names, and they used my name for the creator of one of the maps in the Treasure Hunt (Tjibbe the Unwashable). I like to think I'm canon in the world of Monkey Island now. Can't wait to see me show up as the villain of the next MI!

Alfred Jodokus Kwak... villain of TMI.
    Hmmm...

Today he's very fearful, so fearful, so fearful. He is so really fearful. As fearful as a skuuunk!

I'm so glad you guys are supporting the Mac now. Half of the reason I pre-ordered Season 3 here is because of that.

I haven't been a home user of Windows since 2003 and I had to resort to my Wii to get my Sam & Max fix thus far.

I have to admit, before the trailer came out, the only Sam and Max episode I had played was Abe Lincoln Must Die!, but the day after that trailer came out I not only preordered the new season, I also bought the entirety of Season 1. Consider me hyped.

You should get Season 2 too! In my honest opinion it's way better than season 1!

I will concur, season 2 is probably my favorit but season 1 is also great.
  • edited March 2010
I started replaying Season 1 yesterday. (I finished episodes 1-3 when they were just released.)
I remembered Season 1 being not that good, but I just finished the first episode and it actually was great!
Maybe it was just because I wasn't as used to the Telltale style or was expecting Hit the Road back then. I actually really like it now. I'm gonna start episode 2 today.

I'll probably check out season 2 after I finish The Devil's Playhouse, odd as that is. I went with Season 1 because A) I wanted to get a good introduction to the world before Season 3 comes out, and B) I had already played one episode of it, Abe Lincoln Must Die!

Though I am going to get one episode of Season 2 using this free game code I have lying around waiting to be used. I'm still deciding which episode to get, though.

Season 2 is best played in order I find. i'd go with the first episode.

I'd agree with avistew. Season Two references past events more than Season One did, the last two episodes especially.

Alrighty, I'll go with episode 1. That was one of the two I was debating between, along with Night of the Raving Dead.

Just found my way in here, this being my very first Telltale preorder. The quality of the games so far did convince me that they are worth of that much trust. :)

I wanted to add the tag "infinite loop of agreement" or a variation thereof, but I can't figure out how to do it. Are tags disabled in this subforum?

    Which tag?

Normally you can add tags at the bottom of threads. But I can't see to find out to in this thread.

It's because this is a private forum and only admins have the power to change things here so, thats why you can't add tags or make new threads. :)

In which case "Infinite Agreement Loop" was added by a Telltale Team member, and as such IS A SUPER-SERIOUS CLUE.

Thinking about it, I think Lefty should be this seasons main Villian...wich would mean...it's lefty's playhouse...hmmmm....
  • edited March 2010
Lefty would be a good option. But I'd prefer it if it was someone that Sam and Max would say is their alltime biggest nemesis, while the fanbase hasn't ever seen or heard of him. :D

Proposition 1: Idle hands are the devil's workshop.
    Proposition 2: Lefty is a left-hander.
Conclusion: An idle Lefty is the devil's workshop's starboard side, if it ever were transferred to the high-sea by means of a termonuclear explosion.
