No, it's pretty much everything about it. The verses are weird and disjointed and the chorus is just irritating as all hell. Add to that the fact that I disliked it from the first time I heard it and then was forced to play it several times throughout the course of Rock Band 2 and you end up with me loathing it completely.

This year we will experience 4 unusual dates.... 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11.... Now go figure this out.... Take the last 2 digits of the year you were born plus the age you will be this year and it will equal to 111.

I have tried it and it's true, 87+24=111.

Missing my PS2 at the moment. I'd really like to play some ShadowHearts: Covenant.

Also, I need to make a run to the bank, I don't have enough 1 pound coins to work the washing machine and it's laundry day for me.

I'm missing my PS2 also. My mother hijacked it along with my Wii and has been using it for *shudder* casual gaming.

If the rest of Chinese Democracy is anything even remotely like Shackler's Revenge, the album deserves everything it gets and then some.

The opener 'Better' is pretty good, but that's about it. After all the perfection that was supposedly a part of this album it sounds pretty poor production wise as well. I've a feeling it was really done in 8 months moreso than 13 years or whatever

No matter what the response is to this question, you are going to twist it in your favor, aren't you?

If the answer were to be 'zero', or even '-1', you'd still be able to squeeze something positive out of it.

The year you were born plus the age you'll turn this year will always give the result of this year's date. In this case, because you're only taking the last two digits and we've changed centuries, the result is 111. If instead you take the full year, the result will be 2011. Nothing weird about that.

"Better" was actually the third song on the album, with the title track being the first song on the album.

Also, what you have to remember is that the content of 'Chinese Democracy' is only a portion of the material that Axl & co. wrote and recorded during this 14 year period. The fourteen songs on this album would be lucky to be a third of what was actually created during this time. So, let's just say that this album, in essence, took a third of the time - close to 5 years. If you were to also take away a third of the touring done, a third of the court cases, a third of the 'doing nothing', a third of the time it took sorting out lineup changes, then it really slims it down to a very small portion of time in which this album was made; it doesn't quite deserve its 'took 14 years to make' label. Heck, the reasons I listed are probably why the production wasn't brilliant on the album.

But, production aside, I can't complain one bit about the actual material on the album, which I personally love simply because it sounds good to my ear. Also, I find it to be some of the most technical, masterful songwriting that I've heard from Axl Rose - more-so than anything on 'Appetite...' or the 'Illusion...' albums (with 'Lies' not really worth mentioning, as it is made up of all simplistic music). This is probably why most GN'R fans took to hating it, because it was more technical and more intricately structured than most 'classic' Guns N' Roses songs. It was different, therefor it was dismissed as "sh*t".

I think I'll also add that, due to the nature of the songs, they certainly take multiple listens to fully be appreciated (for me, anyway). I really wasn't much of a fan of many of the songs on the album, but it was in about 3-listens time that I began to love the tracks I was indifferent to, and about 5-listens time to really like the tracks that I straight-out didn't like.

Anyway, I'm not really sure what point I was trying to make with this rant, except that I like the album a lot, and that it's unjustly criticized - which is sort of what I said in my original post, except it was a lot briefer.

Whilst creating a central body of consciousness/ psyche, don't we limit ourselves to personal growth?

I don't honestly know how to word what's really on my mind, expressions and emotions, and ideas based on ideas has muddled it all...

We create, we invent, reinvent even because we consider something better in or out of it's purest, truest form, we form ideas based on something we phantom up, create. Emotional responses can be more pure but when you get intellectual everything just gets muddled up...You may start to build up character, identity a sense of self, you may start to create certain behaviors and thought patterns and before you know it you've conditioned yourself into a central psyche that the world revolves around...but it's almost as if you're enclosed in a bubble...

Whilst creating a central body of consciousness/ psyche, don't we limit ourselves to personal growth? Doesn't taking things all too personal limit how else you may respond to those things? Doesn't creating a sense of person limit who else you can be in this world, how else you may act/ respond, think?

Bane being in The Dark Knight Rises has caused me to go out and watch and read some of Bane's best moments.

If Tom Hardy plays Bane anything like this, he'll be fricking awesome. Also, I adore every frame of this scene. It really shows just how good the animation and direction of that series truly was.

It's going to take a lot more than a month, sadly. Don't try to rush the mourning process. All you can really do is soften the blow as much as possible by celebrating his life.

Oh gosh, i'm sorry to hear about your father. When my dad passed away it tore my world apart, so I know how you feel. But beleive me, it will get better.Time heals all wounds, and, as long as you have the support or your friends and family, you will pull through. In fact, you'll end up closer together as a result of all this.

Hopefully this might make you smile at least. I received a letter from the hospital today, which described me as a "19 year old lady".

I barely have any concept of what good or bad stats look like and even I think it looks overpowered. When adding your own race, I think it's generally frowned upon to make it an absolute bullshit race, unless you're playing a campaign where everyone's characters are supposed to be absolute bullshit (what I believe is referred to as an Epic Level campaign?).

There was a delay yesterday / this morning because you didn't reply to my request for orientation clarification. The dimensions you supplied for the strip ad were incorrect as I suspected.

The final files have been made and sent already, however to speed the process along they're attached to this email too.
