That envelope may not be for me, but I must say that you're awesome for doing all that.

I was gonna approve but Pants' idea is better.

There's a letter, and five other things in there. Enjoy, man. You deserve it.

What's your sig say btw? I can read 90% of it and sadly only understand like half >.>

Oh so that's the kanji for smell.

    So

"Anata no okasan wa hamsta- de, otosan ha eruda- beri- no you ni niyoi ga shimashita"?

Yes I'm leaving it in Engrish >.>

The year you were born plus the age you'll turn this year will always give the result of this year's date. In this case, because you're only taking the last two digits and we've changed centuries, the result is 111. If instead you take the full year, the result will be 2011. Nothing weird about that.

Yeah, but I always find number tricks amazing because I hate numbers and I suck at maths, but now I find the whole thing dumb. :p

To buy or not to buy the id Super Pack on Steam...
  • edited January 2011
There is one other package I sent out...

    attachment.php?attachmentid=2302&stc=1&d=1295605519

it contains a "Sam and Max case file" from Japan...

    attachment.php?attachmentid=2303&stc=1&d=1295606535

~a pack of japanese candies that look like "Lard Encrusted Whipped Cream Choco Balls" (from the "Reality Blights" short) They're even CALLED Choco Balls.
    ~a baby (toy) robot
~a "worst possible luck" fortune from Sensouji Temple (yes really. I kept drawing for luck until I got one)
    ~bean filled cookies
~a tiny ceramic white rabbit bell
~a yeast keychain (not real yeast, a cartoon yeast from the anime Moyashimon)
and a small story explaining how the crap Sam and Max got ahold of said items.

    attachment.php?attachmentid=2304&stc=1&d=1295609586
    The letter:
    Commissioner:
For some reason you have been ignoring both my semaphore messages as well as my throat-singing (NOTE TO SELF- NEVER LET SAM DO THAT AGAIN.) so I figured snail-mail was the way to go.

Anyway, the mission went relatively well. (NO IT DIDN'T) Fine. Partially well. Max didn't get to keep the oversized mechanized robotic figure we won in a convoluted trading card tournament, but he did hork one of the cards and the mechanized beastie's only son. (I'M NAMING IT STEVE)

Anyway, after that fiasco with John, we think it would be better back home with the Maimtrons, learning outdated music references.

Oh! Another thing. After the Suga' Goodness company banned us from buying their products in 46 states (*I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SWITCH WOULD TURN ON THE FLAMETHROWER TO "INCINERATE") we were lucky to find some Lard-Encrusted Choco Balls here. There's a pack in there for you, too.

    (IT HAS PEANUTS)

Wow, Max! A useful warning for once.

    (DON'T WANT FLINT EATING THEM)

Anyway, they're in the rectangular brown and blue box.

The three wrapped cookies are from The Geek. She's been working on her master's in un-natural disasters, so of course we paid her a visit.

(SHE TOOK US TO A MOTHRA PRESERVE. I LOVE HER!)

Anyway, those cookies are filled with -shudder- BEAN PASTE. I swear that poor girl's gone native. She did upgrade the DeSoto for us, though.

There are three more items in there. The piece of paper us from Sensouji temple in Tokyo. Max and I drew luck-straws for New Year's. He got "highest luck of the nethergods". I got... um, well, let me pass on my luck stick to you. You need it more than me.

(WE TRIED TO BURN IT, BUT SOME GIRL WOULD POP OUT OF THE T.V. AND GIVE IT BACK)

As it's the Year of the Rabbit this year, everyone's fawning over Max. Either that, or they think he's a Pokémon. Not sure.

Some old lady gave us rabbit bells, I have an extra. I don't have the heart to tell Max those red marks aren't bloodstains. (WAIT, THEY'RE NOT?)

Lastly, is that keychain. It's from Akihabara, where all the nerds go to buy crap. At least they have lots of neat new videogames. Max and I attempted some police shooting game only to get schooled by some second grader. Anyway, we horked the prize from the machine, thinking it would be of use to us in our case. Seeing how every case that takes us to a carnival or casino requires us to win some games. But we ended up not using it. (AND SINCE WE CAN'T READ THE TRASH CANS, WE'RE FOISTING IT ON YOU)

    We'll be back eventually.
    Sam (MAX)

Just a small package to show my appreciation of Telltale from the other side of the globe.

I must be out of my mind. I'm trying to search the forum for my very first post. Unfortunately, since the forums only search 500 posts back, the only way to do that is to search the Monkey Island board for every thread I've posted in over there, then hunt for my post with the earliest date and time.

    Edit: Think I found it. Also, here's posts 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000.

Funny, I've always said my first post was on October 30th, but I just barely missed it by 24 minutes. However, August 19th was the first time I looked at the forums while logged into my Telltale account (I thought it was after I was directed to the hints forum by Google while I was stuck at some point, but turns out it was the day before Spinner Cay came out), so that's what my join date displays as.

Don't worry, I was aware of that, Dashing; the post wasn't meant entirely literally or seriously.

I often do for business stuff, but I'd likely laugh at anyone who told me to meet them at a restaurant at 1900 hours. (Sir yes SIR! Should we synchronise watches too sir?)

Well, I come from a country that uses 24 hours, and we don't do it as one big number like they do in the military, for the record :P. Instead of "meet me at three PM" you say "meet me at fifteen".
I always have all my clocks set on a 24 hour thing, because even after all that time, I still get confused that it switches from AM to PM (or PM to AM) an hour before the numbers reset. It's like 12 is considered to be 12 and zero at the same time.

Been prepping for the campaign tonight since I got back from class and discovered the regular 4 NPCs character sheets missing. This normally wouldn't bug me that much except they're important characters who are KIND OF NECESSARY to get this thing going.

I guess this is normal, but I'm frustrated that... well... I finish College and I have a Job which is paying me to go USA to learn (Which is awesome) and everything around me it's like they want to me act in a different way I'm, because if I'm like myself I'm going to pretty much fail. But I'm sure I have done everything because I'm myself.

Or maybe is because I want to go away as soon as possible T_T

I still see plenty of Chevy Chase in the old man.

It's just that time is often unkind... take Brigitte Bardot for example.

I still don't see it. :p The chin is the same but that's about it. If his voice wasn't the same I'd assume they replaced him with someone else.
