Three bags of homemade hamentachen. And I'm working on two loaves of cinnamon raisin challah right now. I should probably just open a bakery or something...

Hey biggins, I realised that last post wasn't very consoling, sorry about that.

One of my grandmothers died just last year... she'd cared for me a lot during my childhood and it was enormously difficult to let her go. I hope you have some good family to help get you through your grandfather's possible illness. Could be a long few years.

Oh yum. I'd never heard of hamentachen before now, what flavour are those?

I do love baking (and cooking in general), but don't get nearly enough practice. Last things I baked were banana bread (last week) to turn some gross overripe bananas into sweet cakey goodness, and some tasty apple strudel for my grandmother in the nursing home.

That reminds me, I have some bananas that are too far gone to eat and almost (but not yet!) too far gone to make into bread. I also love cooking, baking especially, but anymore it seems like my only chance to do the latter is either for the holidays (banana bread and cranberry pumpkin bread) or whenever someone wants me to make a cheesecake for some occasion.

I think I'm going to make it happen. I'm gonna bake some white chocolate chip cranberry oatmeal cookies just as soon as I can get some cranberries.

    Wiki is your friend.

As for the flavor, half are lemon sour and half are Orange Julius. Well, it WOULD be half-and-half if my dormmates didn't steal the lemon sour ones.

So the Protagonist has something to do before he meets the villain of the day and learns there's a big bad.

Also, those student riots are STILL doing the rounds in the news

So I left the D&D chat on Skype because Smallville and Supernatural were supposed to start up again tonight and I was going to go spend a couple hours with my family to watch them. Turns out that the guide on the cable box was wrong and CW pushed the shows up to next week, so tonight was a re-airing of the exact same episodes of The Vampire Diaries and Nikita that were on last night. So I found other ways to occupy myself to stave off the disappointment.

Had a bizarre dream last night where I was in some labyrinthine Telltale building and some other guest showed me a way to get to the employee area (apparently I was in some sort of guest area with hotel-like rooms), which involved at least three secret passages and went through womens's toilets several times. I found out about the mystery property coming our way, but then I forgot again before waking up. :(
