Alright, who here likes mythology? Can we all just agree that the Odyssey is the greatest thing ever?
No, it's bloated and full of unnecessary crap. I got more bang for my buck when I studied King Lear. I still like aul Homer and the oddyssey a lot, but greatest thing ever's a bit much
The Bible would be the greatest read ever if it wasn't so badly placed now I think about it. It's a great story, a people set free by Moses, and the ultimate betrayal in history
Wow, my dad just got stabbed with an ice shard.
What is strange is he just shrugged it off, and drove home, changed his clothes, and then went to the hospital.
EDIT:Looking back this is about the 5th time someone has nearly died in my family and barely even cared.
I have no food. Yesterday's post-travel nap somehow segued into a 9 hour snooze, so by the time I woke up all the shops were closed. This makes me sad. And hungry.
That's half the reason I abstain from social networking. I keep my real world identity and my online identity completely separate from each other. I even use a different e-mail address for professional use. As far as I know, my online activity is completely un-Googleable to an employer.
I have my boss on facebook. No idea if that is good or awkward
Depends how you use Facebook. At least 50% of my Facebook contacts are work people, including my bosses. Just keep it nice and obviously never post anything you wouldn't be happy to say/show to your boss in person. Closely monitor the stuff people write on your wall, and the pictures that people tag you in. And don't post on Facebook when you're supposed to be working.
Well if you do have him on Facebook, don't complain about the job because they can fire you for it.
If I ever want to talk about work, I'll talk to a close colleague on the phone, out for drinks, or on IM. If I want to vent about something, I'll usually talk to a non-work friend (or maybe come here). Pretty much just common sense.
All this Facebook stuff sounds like more life monitoring that I couldn't be bothered with. Anyway, all anyone does is use it to perv, and I feel guilty enough glancing at women in the street as it is
1) I'm really looking forward to KQ3 Redux by AGDI (as I love all the other AGDI games), but I really hate Al Emmo by Himalaya Studios so I'm annoyed (and perplexed) that the AGDI team is going to work for them.
2) I could really go for some KFC right about now.
It is ridiculous the amount of money that is involved in football, specifically in the English premier league (though I imagine it's similar in the other top leagues of Europe). By the end of today approximately £85 million could be spent on just two players, one of which I would class as an average (but young & English, hence the inflated price) and the other is a good player but no one is worth £50 million! Well, apart from maybe Leo Messi.
I'm thinking of the poor SecretFawful, he got banned earlier today ... wonder if he's back as another user.
What did he do anyway?
EDIT: I didn't read you guys talking about in previous posts ...

Im sure the feelings mutual.
I think I sound like a horrid lovechild of Yahtzee and Guru Larry! Xp
Thank god one of us filmed it.
AFV here we come.
There's no Guru Larry about it. You sound exactly like Yahtzee.
A slow, retarded Yahtzee maybe... XD
So Yahtzee when he's not recording Zero Punctuation?
I can't see the word Dvorak without thinking "keyboard layout" before I think "composer".
I didn't even know there was a composer named that >.>
Been waiting for ages for a new episode.
Yeah, he does maybe he is Yahtzee...are you Yahtzee?

I wish! XD
(Love to have a successful web series, a book, and a videogame bar! (We all would!))

Yay! This is great news, well done! I really am in desperate need for a calendar now so I'm glad it's all done.
Dammit! I wanted to be the one to do it...
SHODANFreeman told me. I have a massive sad
Really?
He said 'I've never been banned, I have to be banned to retain my cool status' and they said 'OK'.
What did he do anyway?
