My boyfriend got a job, which makes me happy. Also, I got a phone, which makes me happy too, even though 90% of the people so far have made fun of its claspability and its non-touchscreeniness.

But its screen IS touch screen, you can touch it! :P

I haven't seen and don't care one bit for almost any of that. Really, all of it except Blackadder and Monty Python, and one Fry and Laurie clip on Youtube. Actually, the only reason I've seen Red Dwarf was because my parents used to watch it on PBS here. Unfortunately, they stopped airing it and now I have no way to watch it anymore, now that I'm old enough to really appreciate it. The only Red Dwarf I've seen in the last decade was Back to Earth.
Also, I had to quickly run to the laundry room to grab something for my mom in the kitchen during the D&D game, and I busted the hell out of my right thumbnail while trying to open the door. It's already uncomfortable enough, but it's even worse when you consider that the right hand dominates the spacebar.
Edit: I just found out that Kenneth Mars died a week ago. That blows.
I want to go into the gaming industry. This we know. I have always wanted to work for a smaller company, not one like Nintendo, EA, or Firaxis. Telltale, even before winning over my fandom with Tales and introducing me to their wonderful staff (who I'd be thrilled to work with,) seemed like the clear choice to satisfy all my needs. The people are great, the company is small enough to be more intimate, but large enough to not have the threat of failure. The games are cinematic, which fits perfectly into my writing style. Telltale was the dream.
But now I'm worried. Telltale is now being compared to the larger companies, they're hiring people by the bucket load, and have the release of five new games on the way. I'm terrified TTG will leave the small business bubble and become just another game company making great games. If this happens, I'm not sure what I'd do. My goals would be scrambled and I'd constantly be asking myself whether or not. Is Telltale becoming a larger company?

You are missing out. You have to watch at least ALL OF THEM 3000 times over to truly understand and appreciate the style of humour you are witnessing which is clearly first class. Don't waste your time on that other crap
You know, I might seem to talk a lot about Scooby-Doo lately, but that's because I'm suffering from a major withdrawal effect due to the lack of Mystery Incorporated. I seriously need a new episode.

I'd be more worried about accruing the credentials to work for a company, and actually finding a job in a tough market in which we've seen major studios close their doors, than do anything else. When you're struggling paycheck to paycheck or having to move back into your parents place because you can't find a job, it's not about where you work, it's about "Can I find work ?"
A group of friars were behind on their belfry payments, so
they opened up a small florist shop to raise funds. Since everyone liked
to buy flowers from the men of God, a rival florist across town thought
the competition was unfair. He asked the good fathers to close down,
but they would not. He went back and begged the friars to close. They
ignored him. So, the rival florist hired Hugh MacTaggart, the roughest and
most vicious thug in town to "persuade" them to close. Hugh beat up the
friars and trashed their store, saying he'd be back if they didn't
close up shop. Terrified, they did so, thereby proving that only Hugh can
prevent florist friars.

Touchscreens are overrated. The best phones open two different ways.

Because your awesome!
I wish my awesome was awesome
Thumbs up if you get this joke
You need to watch more of it. Some of the best is still yet to come.
He's not kidding. I can't even finish watching it.

Yeah, the minute that story got to "Your first sexual experience", I was done.
I watched it, but immediately erased all recollections of it. All I have left is a vague distrust of seven year old birthday parties.
Very awesome film!
Also I'm in a REALLY bad mood but the reason would take HOURS to explain (well not hours but I'm not telling you)
DO IIIIIIT.
Watching Kamen Rider W, forgot how much of a pimp Kamen Rider Skull is.
Comic or movie?
You mean the comic book "Watchmen", the movie based on the comic book, or a bunch of watchmen for hire to guard your new fortress of solitude?
One and three. The movie can die in a fire. An abortion fire.
Yeah... Screw Zack Snyder.
I wonder how smokey the bear can prevent an abortion fire?
Don't you know?
Only YOU can prevent abortion fires.
Comment of the year.
To think I initially dismissed the Americanization of it from a few years ago as a Power Rangers ripoff. Silly American child me.

...I feel so ashamed.
