A friend down under sent me some vegemite, so I got to try that for the first time today...

I kind of like it, but it's so different from anything I've tasted before that it's hard to formulate an opinion. I can't stop nipping at it though, so I guess that's a good thing?

I'm working out the best as I can traditionally and my brother wants to buy "hacks" . You know special substances to help you work out, he's getting them in the mail.

I never approved of him cheating in video games, and now this...why can't he just work hard and be strong in his own merits. Of all the things a guy can do he should be able to stand on his own two feet and accept his short comings at the most and least as his best foot forward, his best foot behind.

Huh, what? Tim Curry was in it? Man, I wish the download for that movie went faster. Then again, also downloading A Pup Named Scooby-Doo and a bunch of other Scooby-Doo serials (including Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue, don't ask, I just want my collection to be complete).

Also, the only reason I care for the Hex Girls is because they make music and Jennifer Hale does Thorn's voice in all incarnations. In ALL incarnations. Even Mystery Incorporated.

...I suddenly need to go re-watch this shit. Like, right now.

This forum has become a bunch of whining babies who think that games have to be released all at once with notification of the release date 3 years in advance.

    HEY.

I'm a whining baby who barely cares about any new games and thinks Telltale sold out.

I'm also a consumer whore who will probably end up buying all of them anyway.

I was mainly trying to make a joke there.

If I have to defend myself, I guess I would say they did it by taking on their biggest license yet and then dumbing down the actual game content nearly to the point of removing it in an effort to appeal to the mainstream audience of said license.

Oh, and on the subject of the Redwall series, Tim Curry was also in the animated TV adaption of Mattimeo.

Since when do I start to feel tired at 2 am? This sleeping like a normal person thing is total crap. It's not like there's anything good about the morning anyway.

    ...Dammit, I'm going to bed...

    WAIT!

Okay, back the fuck up. Jennifer Hale is in it?

You do realize that this means that Pennywise and Bastila Shan were in the same production, right? Is there anyone else in it that I should know about?

Didn't you know? Jennifer Hale did Thorn's voice since, like, 1998, and still does it when Thorn is featured in the Scooby-Doo series.

The newest Scooby-Doo incarnation, Mystery Incorporated, actually goes all-out with Scooby-Doo, by hiring Frank Welker, who did Fred Jones since day one, as Fred Jones, and he's also the official replacement for the voice of Scooby-Doo. Casey Casem, the original Norville "Shaggy" Rogers, passed the stick to Matthew Lillard in Mystery Incorporated, who played Shaggy in the two live-action movies, while he himself does the voice for Shaggy's father. Since What's New Scooby-Doo, Mindy Cohn does the voice of Velma Dinkley, and Grey DeLisle portrays Daphne Blake since around that time as well. If I'm correct, even the Hex Girls' voices haven't been replaced. One of the necessary replacements though is Vincent Van Ghoul's voice, since Vincent Price had passed away.

    EDIT:
Holy crap! Like, save for, like, Shaggy's voice, I can, like, pick the voices of each character from, like, any series since What's New Scooby-Doo for, like, the Minecraft Scooby-Doo Pack!

    EDIT2:
HOLY SHIT, JENNIFER HALE DOES THE VOICE OF PHOENIX IN MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3?!

Gee, and to think I only know Jennifer Hale as Samus Aran.
  • edited February 2011
Well, she was also Dr. Naomi Hunter in the Metal Gear series, the female Commander Shepard in all Mass Effect games, Sam from Totally Spies, and a lot more.

darn sickness has gotten to me too:(
  • edited February 2011
Well I am strange for wishing for sickness, just some way to get of work a few days.
But I am as healthy as I can be, never been really sick for many years, apart from some minor colds.

    Hentai, simply put.

At least I don't think she does.

Same, I don't think I ever had a day off school for about 5 years running, nor was I ever sick during the weekend, and the last time I can remember vomiting was when I was drunk, and I've eaten so much bad food. I'm a MACHINE!

    Pennywise and Bastila Shan

This is the first thing I saw, and the first thing I thought was that there should be Pennywise/Bastilla fanfics out there, just because I'm a flippin weirdo.

Oh, it probably exists. Because Internet; that's why!

Having met her at a convention and proposing various ideas that I thought were great, I can say that yes; there are things Jennifer Hale won't do.

They did an episode featuring a barely disguised HP Lovecraft and Harlan Ellison. It's safe to say this is a Scooby Doo I don't hate.

You can get the Redwall season sets off Amazon UK, you just need a multi-region DVD player to play them because they're Region 1.

    Yo-ho, yo-ho a pirate's life for me!

Hey, if they're legitimately available for a reasonable price then I'll support that. But if, say, the DVDs are out of print and insanely expensive (I'M LOOKING AT YOU REBOOT AND JEM) then I'm all for hitting up Demonoid.
  • edited February 2011
Also, region-free DVD players are cheap. Also most computers can act as region-free DVD players with the right software. Also most DVD players can be made region-free through a code you can enter on your remote control.

Man, when I have the time, I'll be searching for all intro songs of every Scooby-Doo incarnation, and make an entire Scooby-Doo medley.

For potentially destroying pieces of Warhammer history? I'll take it! And hey, I managed to hacksaw the parts I wanted and the model only needs minor cosmetic repairs, so it's all good! Really I just want to get them painted up for the next contest at my local GW store to see how many people go "but those aren't Games Workshop models!"

Also, I completely forgot that the really old models are lead, not pewter. I better wash my hands.
  • edited February 2011
Eesh, guess it's a REALLY good thing you didn't hacksaw yourself, then.

All of the Kamen Rider series' sort of follow their own plotlines with very little intersection, so one can really start anywhere. However, in my opinion, Kamen Rider Decade is a good entrance series as it gives you sort of a broad look at all of the Kamen Riders and gives them all a chance to shine. Also good choices are Kamen Rider V3, Kamen Rider Stronger or Kamen Rider Black. They all have incredibly solid additions to the franchise (Kamen Rider Black and his reincarnation as Kamen Rider Black RX is probably the most famous of the Kamen Rider series and a personal favorite of mine), and V3 in particular is quite fun. He hides in coffins to shank Nazis.
