Yeah, Fate of the world is so damn hard!
Globally, I did fine in reducing climate change.
But unfortunately I caused a couple of economic recessions, causing Civil War and famine in America, which then declared war on Europe! :X
Had Old Irish a couple of hours ago, it was pretty cool. Now I'm working out the specifics of my never-going-to-be-used D&D pirate ship while I've got the ToMI commentary running in the background. Good times.

I bought Bulletstorm, and well this game...is a classic FPS in the sense, that's it's tottaly over the top, and bloody...I may be in love with this game.
Wow! Laxius Force is a pretty addictive RPG.
I can't believe I've played it for almost 4 hours already! (Which is alot of time for just one game these days)
I think its the plot. Its pretty cool. I like how they made you start with one party, then switch straight to another afterwards.
The main Hero of the story is a former Hero who is pretty much pushed back into the spotlight.
The cast so far has been varied, and some quite interestingly designed, (though the artwork could have done with a bit more work I feel).
I also like how its not random battles ala Chrono Trigger (you see enemies moving around).
The game is real tough though. I've died quite a bit even on easy.
Bosses require quite a bit of figuring out, as the battle system is all weakness based, (plus there are loads of status ailments and boosters).
The game even has sidequests and little missions lurking around.
For a RPG maker game, a lot of effort has been put in.
Even the NPCs have something interesting to say normally.
I have a feeling this is going to be a tenner well spent!
(as both games are a fiver each on Gamersgate (but I can definately see this sort of thing not being to everyones tastes...))
EDIT: In fact, and I know this is going to possibly spark up a little bit of hate, but I don't think I've got into a RPG as much as this, since Final Fantasy 6, (I played 9 before 6 oddly enough. You see I played the Playstation versions! ).
(Chrono Trigger came close, but that game can be quite frustrating, as sometimes is not all too clear as to where to go, or what to do)
Also, you know what I really hate about Dutch people? The fact that they always HAVE to acknowledge the existence of another Dutch person wherever they are. Newsflash, nobody actually gives a crap.
Just watched a video of Nintendo's GDC conference.
A new Mario game is in developement for the 3ds. Big Shock:D
But something strange is that the logo had a tail at the end, which he noted for speculation. For E3.
I think the tail is a reference to tanooki Mario.
I went into a store and read a bit through the first volume of Fables, and looked through Volume One of The Walking Dead as well. Fables is different than I expected. It's a lot more realistic than I expected due to the premise. I recommend looking it up. I would have bought it, but then I noticed it was ten dollars for the volume.
I think it's the 8 am 45 minute hike at to campus that makes it so bad.
When I was living in the dorms, I was in a sort of auxiliary dorm that was actually converted from an old crappy hotel just off campus...at the bottom of an enormous steep hill. I used to have to walk my bike up the hill (because the one time I tried riding it up in a low gear was just downright awful), then ride for ten minutes or so to get to most buildings on campus...including the dining hall I went to, which is why I eventually gave up on the dining hall and ate a lot of Campbell's Chunky soup. And coming back was something of an adventure, riding my bike down that hill. It was a little scary and I never would do it when the ground was wet, but I got used to it. I couldn't imagine taking that hill on a skateboard, like some people I saw did.
Guys, I have to be up by NOON. And, worse than that, I have to use a CONVENIENT CAMPUS BUS to get from my dorm to my classes, or even WALK A FEW BLOCKS.
Sitting here and writing lists with locations on our printers and their IP Addresses. I am done with the list for print server 1, so now I just need to make the list for serve 2 and 3.
After that I have to look at subnets to see if the printers are actually standing where the description says they are.
Utterly boring but I am just the trainee, so I am meant to get the boring jobs no one else wants to do.

I will never understand how some people can do something so nonchalantly that I'd be terrified of. Skateboarding down a steep hill is one of those things.
I used to ride my bike in SB, or I did for a while before I realized my chances of being hit were marginally less if I just walked onto campus. SB is home to a lot of bikers who a.) don't pay attention to where they're going and b.) haven't been riding their bikes for very long, so just being on a bike is a hazard. I got hit about 3 times (once when I was leaving the bike racks on foot, and I got hit so hard in the sternum by a guy who was illegally biking on the sidewalk that I flew back into a row of bike's and knocked them over) over the course of a ten week term, to give you an idea of how bad it was.
Also, I hiked over to campus , got lost on the way to the building we were supposed to meet and and managed to run in just in time to hear that class was cancelled. Just got back to the flat like 20 minutes ago. >.<
Damn, that sucks. Both the hike for nothing and the bike thing, I mean. The sidewalks at CU are filled with bikers and skateboarders, but I've never found it to be a problem, except for once. I was on my bike, and I took a right turn on the outside to avoid crashing into anyone and crashed into a skateboarder. He walked away just fine. I ended up in a bush, I was sore for a few days, and my front tire was completely fucked.
Whoever invented the idea of starting a police internship at eight - forcing me to get up at 5:45 - should be hung up by his ankles and forced to chug raw sewage.

Ouch, that sucks, replacing a tire can end up being pricy, depending on where you take it. I'd actually take the soreness over that.
As as for the hike, eh, it happens, you know? I'd just have preferred it not to happen the one lecture where I was required to be on campus proper instead of being at King's Manor.
In other news, I apparently can't remember what day of the week it is.
I remember what day of the week it is in relation to when I have my D&D games. Also, when panic inducing projects are due, like my master's thesis proposal.

Oh crap, I still need to watch ANY of the DVDs.
I've been trying to break the habit of even VISITING Tv Tropes. The site is more addictive than marijuana and cigarettes combined.
What?
What happened?

God damn it, Guru. You should know better.
Oh god dammit, is it already this late?

Seriously, I will sink hours into that damn site. I try to avoid it, but I always end up on it somehow....

Feel like such a screw-up right now, (though I know I'm not really).
Hopefully the internet can provide me with something to cheer me up a bit.
(Since I don't have my "World of Karl Pilkington" book on me...
