Sorry, I speak from personal experience when I say that game ruins friendships. My friend used to play it and refuse to do anything sociable after he got hooked, hed prance around yelling irritating things and pretending to follow some weird fake religion. Ugh I could go on but it brings back bad memories.

I think this this is a case of your mileage may vary, as I've made some really fantastic friends via D&D and it's culture. Hell, the game I DM for people here on the forums is one of the major bright spots in my week.

You know, recently I've been using "coolsome" as a substitute for cool and / or awesome.

Reading this makes me feel pretty bad for Bill Tiller. He's really trying hard to keep Autumn Moon going, and everything seems to be against him. I've always been fairly disgruntled with A Vampyre Story, but I think Bill has gotten better with game design with each project. I hope he stays afloat long enough to really shine.

Ryan North's Dinosaur Comics' shoutout to Telltale a couple of days ago. (In the text, not the comic.)

I'm really happy right now! Something I've been working on is actually going right at the moment! It's so nice when things just fall into place. :D

Yeah, AVS was good but it was half assed. Almost a perfect game. Haven't played his pirate game. By all means though, I want his company to keep on gaming.

I'm on a period sea shanty binge again, yet I find myself whistling LeChuck's theme. My brain is goddamn wierd.

I'm a big fan of drinking songs and sea shanties.

He's good, but I actually end up listening to a lot of the Irish Descendants, Dubliners, The Jolly Rogers and other groups that do vocal versions of the shanties. I was part of the Bardic culture in the Society for Creative anachronism, and I learned a lot of the lyrics just by listening to good period sounding vocal renditions.

Something along these lines really, to give you an idea.

You're complaining about getting up at 5:45 when your good friend Dashing has to get up a whole 18 hours earlier at the crack of noon?

In other news, I apparently can't remember what day of the week it is.

    How selfish of me!

In other news, I think I may be the only man in Georgia who appreciates the Red Army's Alexandrov Ensemble.

Have you ever listened to Dramtreeo? They're my favorite, though they do sing songs that aren't strictly sea shanties.

Like "The White Collar Holler". :D

I have not listened to them, but I shall now. TO YOUTUBE!

It's a lot of fun. Apparently I have a horrible track record with ruins.

Ruin 1: I manage to be persuaded to try to eat a vine that could easily strangle me.

Ruin 2: Grabbed an orb of planar travel, It teleported me to a realm of Eldritch Abominations. At least it was after I finished humming the Legend of Zelda Item Get song. It took me like three tries to figure out how to use the orb to go back.

I of course say I, because Remolay is the name of my character, I am not really Remolay, Remolay has always been a character. I may be myself here, and I may go by Remolay, but I am not Remolay.

Pfft wish I had time to listen to sea shanties - too busy drawing calibration curves to show the colour absorbance of iodine in an acid catalysed propanone reaction, oh yeah, I can Science :P

    ... I can draw a bunny. :D

I drew a bunny in the graphing calculator on the school computers once. Last I heard, my teacher has the printout with the equations and picture/graph hanging in her office. This was college calculus.

A bunny is one of the few things I can't draw well at all. I can barely draw Max. I don't know what it is.

I bet you don't want to drink any of hyrule's water now you seen where it passes through.
  • edited March 2011
    Actually...

    Zora__s_Domain___Past_by_GuruGuru214.png

If you'll notice, the only place that water flows out of Zora's Domain is the warp to Lake Hylia, which is the endpoint for the water flow anyway. Hyrule's water all flows out of Zora's Fountain directly to Zora's River via the waterfall that conceals the passage to Zora's Domain, thus bypassing King Zora entirely.

However, that doesn't change the fact that Hyrule's water supply has Lord Jabu-Jabu floating in it...
  • edited March 2011
Oh thank god! I was dreading redoing the water temple once its on the 3D! (I still am but now for less gross resions)

Lord Jabu-Jabu is far less gross then the fish man sitting and scooting in it.
  • edited March 2011
So, speaking of Jabu-Jabu, here's a good question.

Why the fuck does he have two live cows embedded in his mouth in Master Quest?
