That's some surprising profound advice coming from YOU.

I can't believe what Glenn Beck said about the disasters in Japan - how does he still have a job?!?! >: ( I'm so sick of everytime there's a natural disaster some idiot pops up playing the God argument (not against religion, just people how try to make it out like God hates anyone who doesn't follow theirs).

There is a video on youtube of some smug bitch who says how grateful she is to god for slaying thousands of Japanese citizens, UGH.

Hell, one of their politicians said it was divine judgment. Lets see how THAT affects any future campaign of his.

    Anyways, what Dashing said.

...my mother just singlehandedly got Continental Airlines to waive the flight change fee for every passenger flying out of Japan on their airline. I love her.

Can she give us a lesson on how the hell she did that?

Well, she's been head of sales at a printing company for over 20 years. Printing. Even in this market that's gone mostly digital. She's really good at getting her point across.

That's amazing. Good for her. She seems like a strong-willed woman.

Glad to hear you're still okay and getting out of that mess, divisionten. Hopefully we'll be able to have that D&D game for you when you get back.
Yep, and that obnoxiously large avatar really shows us who's boss!

Hey, I had to give up 90% of my PM box capacity for those extra 30x30 pixels!

    WAS IT WORTH IT? HUH?

I'll go ahead and guess no.

That size should be standard damn it. Even then everywhere else I know has bigger avatars than that>__>

Once I fell asleep in the snow, woke up and was facing the stars. I thought I was DEAD.

To be fair, I hear that ratings are lower than ever and advertisers are dropping like flies for his show.

Well apparently there's been talk for ages over dropping him, hopefully this will be the last nail in the coffin.

I second this. It's at the right size where looking at it allows you to distinguish it from others, while it's not to big to be an eyesore.

I just spilled an entire glass of tea all over my boxset of Batman the Animated Series Volume One. Now the cardboard is ruined and I'll have to rebuy it. :(

EDIT: ....Then I see divisionten here, think of Japan, and suddenly I don't care much anymore.

A jab? yes. Unwarranted? I don't think so.

Fawful, when I arrive in the US I'll get you that replacement.

It was pretty unwarranted. Dashing my come off as abrasive at times when he has a strong opinion, but that has nothing to with him being a decent person, and it's not fair to imply that he's anything else.

That's incredibly generous, but I'm not fully sure now if I will replace it. I over-reacted at first, but it looks like the cardboard might be evening out. It looked really warped at first. It bothers me so much mainly because I'm an extreme perfectionist, and I like everything to be pristine and like new. Especially something I fanwank over like Batman.

You could always sell the old one to help fund a new one. I'm sure there's someone who would just like to have the animated series to watch for less than the price of new and doesn't care much about the packaging condition.

Also, I figured I'd try out the large avatar since I have the option now, but I think it's starting to get on my nerves. I'll probably change it back before long.

Yeah, just because someone's passionate about something you disagree with doesn't mean they're a cold, heartless monster.

It kind of serves me right for setting all of my box sets right under where I set my drinks. I mean...WHY DID I NEVER THINK THIS WAS A BAD IDEA BEFORE?

If it does end up being beyond repair, I'll definitely take you up on your offer though, divisionten. Just to patronize you.

Meet the only Pokémon cards I still care about.

    DSC00078.jpg

My favorite Pokémon have always been the Eevee evolutions, and these cards were all the more special because I got three of them from booster packs (the other two I bought from a friend). Espeon and Umbreon even came out of my first two Neo Discovery booster packs.

Then one day, my sister spilled a Coke on our computer desk, completely warping the cards. After I cleaned the Coke out of the keyboard, I hit eBay hard. Before the morning was over, I had all five cards again, including a Jolteon with the exact same defect as the original (a missing Jungle emblem). Now I keep them in hard top-loaders and away from anywhere someone might set a drink, and I did the same for Leafeon and Glaceon after Diamond and Pearl came out.

I almost want to run a livestream of this, just so everyone can see just how much ass I'm kicking....until level 4-2, at which point I've been mercilessly getting my ass kicked.
