Also, it's My Little Pony, so that's enough reason for me to never go any where near it.

I'm pretty sure that's completely missing the point of both my post and the definition of that disurbing word.

Also, I'm less of a fan of the show, although I don't mind it, and more of a fan of the fanstuff. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTZbRUrN2bo&feature=channel_video_title

I made a promise to myself that I will never, under any circumstance, ever watch My Little Pony. Cause I've seen what it does to people and it's terrible.

I watched an episode last week because I was fascinated by the sudden brony culture.

... It's... a show. I chuckled at a couple of the jokes, but I don't get what the big deal is.

I certainly didn't suffer through it, as like I said, the writing is far more entertaining than MLP has any right to be (that is to say, mildly amusing), and I plan to watch a couple more just because one episode of anything is a piss-poor way to judge a show, but at the end of the day it's My Little Goddamn Pony. Why is this a phenomenon?

You totally should watch it, though.

It's amazing how one comment can release so much not-at-all-asked-for criticism from both sides of the coin.

I still haven't. Doubt I ever will, too.

ADDENDUM: My gods... There will be bronies in cosplay at Dragoncon, won't there? I suddenly feel like invoking Yog-Sothoth to take back what once was his. Namely, the world.

It won't be so bad. Just close your eyes and think of Mother Russia.

Same. It wasn't the strongest album anyways and featured one of the worst songs they've ever written... then it just... ends. I still listen to the title track and the video for Holy Smoke is rather amusing... but that's about it.

That's conversation for ya. One person talks, another person responds... madness. :p

Who would have known that people would, without ANY provocation WHATSOEVER, actually PAY ATTENTION to what someone says in a public space meant for talking about things and actually RESPOND with their OWN, RELATED THOUGHTS? That's just UNHEARD OF in a discussion board! How RUDE and UNWANTED these RANDOM comments are! I just want to yell my thoughts in a vacuum without anyone ever noticing!

Do so and you will gain my eternal gratitude.

Which is about worth as much as brownie points or gold stars. But it's still something, right?

Yes, I've found a gem of a band, I've searched 1000s of bands, and heard all genres, this is special. Everything song has its own soul.

@puzzlebox: I hope you found a way to access your money (checkbook? Going to the bank with ID? Getting someone else to treat you out?) but in case you don't and still have onion, both onion soup and onion pizza are great. Onion pizza does require dough, but with onion soup you can do without (and if you want croutons, bakeries sometimes will give you their stale bread if you ask nicely).

I hope your cat has plenty of food left though. And that you'll get your new card soon.

And here I thought we had agreed on something once before...:p

And it's an old band, maybe that has something to do with it. They have lots of experience, and it shows. This has a very matured metal sound, very diverse, even though it's confined, know what I mean? That's how I feel about it.

Most hypnosis, requires, wait for it...wait for it...

An op art pattern or some sort of physical motion that follows a pattern, where you separate thought, consciousness thought from observation, clear the mind.

Another neat little secret , but I've never been hypnotized, can't tell you if it works too well or not.

This, was awesome live. Yeah, yeah I've been into and out of many many bands but I keep going back to this one, Iron Maiden and Iced Earth. Just so many great tunes.

Here's one more picture of my day.

    2011-06-29185956.jpg

Now, I'm sunburned on the backs of both my hands, my right elbow, and my left knee (and nowhere else), I got one hour of sleep before being woken up to go on this fishing trip against my will (which I object to the fishing part less than the being told that this is how I'm spending my day), and the only fish I managed to hook got away just off shore, while the rest of the day, fish were eating my bait away without taking the hook. Probably going to go to bed soon.
