EDIT: I forgot a distinction that is useful for humans.
Because bees are vegetarian and their primary activity is as gatherers, they don't attack humans (or anything, really) unless they're defending their nest or themselves. So if you don't pose a threat and leave them alone, they'll leave you alone.
Wasps, on the other hand, are hunters, and way more aggressive. They might attack you just because you're there. Leaving them alone is still a good idea of course, but you might want to avoid them even more, as sometimes they can be more aggressive and just attack, which bees don't do.

Very much this, bees are the friendly gentle pollen collecting roundbodies of the woodlands. Wasps are cranky little shites that spend all their time either hovering round a bin or right in your face.

Ugh. Every time I think Invader Zim fanfiction can't get any worse, I find something...well, worse.

I heard a fascinating fact on wasps a couple of weeks ago. Apparently when a wasp stings you it leaves a certain scent that other wasps from the same colony can identify, so once you've been stung by a wasp and pass by the rest of its colony they can smell that you've been attacked and think that you must be a danger so they all swarm at you.

Anyone know if this is true?

I thought that was with bees. But I'm not a biologist.

Today I thought up the most awesome videogame idea I have ever thought of.

Its such a shame I don't have the capabilities to do it.

(I think thats 3 really cool ideas I've ever thought up, and only maybe one of those I could possibly do. Its kind of sad really)

If only I had the money, tools and manpower... :(

Bees look all cute and fluffy, whereas wasps look like the badasses they truly are.

    ... or what Alcoremortis said.

I gotta agree. Bees are really adorable. Especially bumble bees, which just look like little balls of fluff with stingers.

FUCKYES. Dr. Ashens is the second greatest British doctor there ever was! The Doctor totally counts as British, despite being from Gallifrey. We call that emigration.

Pork intestines, apparently. Is that any worse than liver? Liver tends to be riddled by cirrhosis, anyway.

If I'm intestines...then what do I wrap around my neck when I set fire to myself on stage?

Really need to stop listening to "Preform this Way"...

Is a man not entitled to the games on their account?

No says the man in Steam, our servers are busy.
No says the man in GFWL, our service is clunky and awful.
No says the man in Good Old Games, our games are crap.

I rejected those answers. I chose something different.

    I chose, the impossible.

    I chose...

    PIRACY.

...and with the bandwidth of your torrent client, piracy can be your distribution service as well.

One could argue that, but at least you're ENTITLED to the CRAP games, right?

Regardless, I'm having the overloaded servers issue too, trying to download Bit.Trip Runner. Though I'm not sure if it's not downloading because the servers are overloaded, or because Steam crashed while preparing the files for download. I'm not too familiar with Steam, to be honest =\

I'm typing this post on my "new" laptop, which my dad just gave me because he's upgraded. Swweeeeeeeeeeet! It's not got much power under the hood as it's 5 years old (it's got a dual core running at 1.3ghz each and 1 gig of RAM), which makes it ideal for a retro games machine (via my old PC games and emulators). Double sweeeeeeeeeeet!

I'm transferring my favourite ScummVM games on to it now :D
