Coolsome, that's freaky, intellectually I can appreciate it. But, having that in my room would scare the crap out of me.

Aw, I thought I had lost 5 pounds, but it seems I just remembered the stone value wrong and have actually gained 8 pounds. I'm officially in the overweight BMI category now, instead of being borderline. ¬_¬

All that, despite living a healthier lifestyle then this time last year (far more exercise. At least 90 minutes of walking on most days. My only explanation for that is that now I'm edging closer to 20, my hormones have eased (despite a sudden outbreak of acne), and that's somehow responsible.

Ah well, I'm not overly fussed anyway. It's just a bit annoying when the past few months I've been feeling happy because I'd thought I'd passed into the healthy weight, but it seems I haven't.

And yes, I know BMI isn't exactly the most accurate scale, but I'm not exactly Mr.Muscle.

TBH, so long as I don't end up like this,
    Can-Obese-People-Be-Healthy-2.bmp
    I'm fine.

Has anyone else experianced the really strange thing with Steam Chat whereby the one your chatting to shows up as offline but they are able to message you still? I wouldn't mind so much, but while they can talk to me everytime *I* try and submit a message back it says 'So-and-so is currently offline, message cannot be sent'. Why can I not talk back?! Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? It's happening right now and the one I'm talking to is probably thinking I'm being rather rude by not replying. :(

Leave a comment on their profile page telling them they are set to offline.

GAH! I was trying to do my first part of a Lets Play (of Phantasmagoria), and the damn thing messed up.

The video is unrecoverable, (and is corrupted and didn't record properly either... :(), and the while most of the audio was recovered, its cut off (near the end but its very abrupt), and high pitched and speed is increased.

Such a shame, I played it for like 45 minuites too.

EDIT: Ok, now I feel stupid.

Dosbox already has a video recording function, which I should have used instead of Camstudio.

Next time I try a blind playthrough of a game, I'll ensure that my webcam records via Audacity and Dosbox records the game video and audio, then I can mix them together.
Hopefully that will stop corrupted files and that...

I'm happy. A favorite Doctor Who fan-artist of mine has just started a comic where the Doctor goes to my hometown! This will be extremely fun, I predict.

The code, check this out, even without knowledge, idea, even without intellect we are connected and this animal reflects upon these feelings, this code, these emotions, life to reflect upon human beings, mimic them as only a form of expression, emotion, some sort of symbolism, recognition...maybe it doesn't have the intellect for ideas in the direct sense, but in the indirect sense it does. It's connected to these human beings and what they are on about. It's within the same vibrations of the universe.

Phew! Man upgrading my Arcade machine is such a tough process.

I'm basically redo-ing the whole process, though it will be worth it once its all done.

The main thing is that the actualy computer is being replaced with another one.

This newer PC has more RAM, a better Pentium 4 processor, A better graphics card, and a newer motherboard.
Performance wise, the new computer easily handles Dreamcast games, which is the main reason to upgrade.
(My Dreamcast is dodgy, and the current computer is a bit too slow to handle the emulation)

I don't think re-installing everything won't be too hard at least.
(I do drivers hunting and configurations all the time so its pretty easy, but time consuming)

It will allow me to reconfigure all the controls so that compatibility will be improved.
(Since the IPAC-2 uses MAMEs default controls which aren't that great since it uses keys like CTRL and ALT which messes with most emulators)

The next main part of the upgrade is replacing Mamewah, (which is pretty good, but honestly is a bit outdated visually) with HyperSpin.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEgaqXsavYA
HyperSpin is Flash based, so it looks very pretty, and is very customisable.
Each game could have its own theme if I wanted!

In addition, Screenshots are now out, and Video previews are in! :D

Upgraded MAME to a newer version.

I'm also looking into whether or not I can get Wiimote support via bluetooth.
What I want, and really need it to do is to be able to detect and automatically connect to the Wiimote, then run a GlovePie script that allows it to be used as a mouse.
Would also need to see how i go about simulating the sensor bar.
I know its only a few led infrared lights, so I could either build my own and stick it to the cabinet, or get another normal one and hack it into a USB one or something.

A lot of effort but it would pay off.

    Here's a clue:

    231919_6355959b27f6c7616bd881c0a8b36074.jpg

Yeah, I want to use it to play MAME lightgun games!

(Its a LCD screen, so a GunCon wouldn't work, and it would save me some dough too!)

It's not my choice that I'm all alone. LOL, it's not, I know that sounds crazy. I can't stop asking questions. It's never enough, lol I love you guys, I love all of you. I love you guys.

But, I will always be alone, even when I'm certain I'm in the company of others. It's no complex, it's a choice, I need more answers. I need this hope, I need this spirit, this love. I can't be driven, inspired any other way. I've always been inspired in this way and it comes so naturally to me to ask these questions.

Ask what questions? The random, deep and somewhat-nonsensical questions you ask on these forums at times?

Why does that equate with the idea of being alone forever?

Karl Pilkington's mad ramblings regarding monkeys doing human jobs such as being a chat show host or a fireman, not to mention the "fact" that there's apparently a dishwasher on Mars... actually have a basis in reality, it's just that he jumbles the facts up with his own lackluster memory.

For example, regarding the dishwasher being found on Mars...

    * The real story involved NASA sending a robotic vessal to Mars (the MRO or Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter). Among other things, the vessal carried the biggest camera ever sent to another planet. The camera has a very high resolution and it can take pictures with 1200 megapixels of digital resolution. NASA explained what that meant in layman's terms by saying that the camera can see things as small as a dishwasher upon the surface of Mars, hypothetically of course.

    * In Karl's head; he remembers certain key words. In this case, he remembers DISHWASHER and MARS.

    * And so, when Karl explains the news to someone else it becomes; "Yeah, they've found a dishwashing machine on Mars."
