Chuck Jordan is (was?) the lead designer on The Devil's Playhouse.
Where did you hear that he left? Or are you confusing him with Brendan Q. Ferguson, who recently left Telltale to pursue humanitarian work and who was one of the designers on the first two seasons of Sam and Max?
1: After we finish the Episode, do we get a new power like in The Penal Zone?
2: Will we control Max like we do Sam, in this Episode?
1: No, Jake has already clearly said that that was a one-off deal, and it would make PC users angry as well.
2: If you mean walking around, probably not, no game has done it yet and, although we have made tiny steps by being able to control Max in some way, we probably won't be able to make him walk around until the fourth season.

1: I think he meant PS3 exclusives. And I meant for every available platform that it's on.
2: We got to play Max (in a way) in 203, so it might not surprise me if we do get to control him.
I'm still intrigued by this "will there be two storyline" muddle.
I get the impression the answers mean "storyline" as in the over arching plot of the episode; but the questions mean "storyline" as in the separately little stories that make up the over arching plot.
Meaning will Sam and Max be split up and we will have to (for atleast some of the episode) play them independently of each other (thus giving them each their own storyline), despite the fact they presumably are reunited at some point and their two sets of actions both ultimately fuel the same overarching plot.
Has anyone considered Max's brain will end up like Gordon's (at least for a while) therefore he/we will be able to control various things other than his own arms and legs?
Correction, Max does not have a brain in his body. There is a big difference between not having something and not having it at a specific location.
To have something implies posession, who the brain belongs to implies ownership. Max does not have his brain, "They" have his brain. Even if the brain belongs to Max, he currently does not "have" it.
But if Max's consciousness resides in his brain (which it probably does in the S&M universe, as the alien brain's consciousness was pretty intact), you could fairly say he DOES have it. In fact that's all he has.
Maybe the title of this episode should be "They Left Max's Body!"
Anyway, we may get to use some Max-vision in Max's disembodied brain and make use of Max's brain powers while there, even though the brain is not in his head.
Actually, I don't think Max uses his brain that often. The episode will probably start with Max waking up, saying: "Oh, hi Sam. I guess, I must have nodded off. The ending of the movie was kinda boring. What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
And then Sam and Max try to get Max' brain back. If I've understood Mike's hints correctly.
1: I was also talking about how many PC users are angry about PS3 exclusives
I never said exclusives, and I know how people were angry from it. But it was an accident; it won't happen again even if they do give us another power at the end.
Sorry for double post but I've just had a thought-
We're probably gonna control Max through rhinoplasty so he'll probably be in a room filled with a lot of pictures. We use his brain to assume those forms and then control Max as he moves about in a different shape/body!
Well, The Tomb was done in April (including all bugfixes, if the last modified date is to be believed), still it was only released 25 May. So it being done now doesn't say anything about the release date.
My question; I recall one of the animators working on a possible "where Max hides his gun" cutscene for 303. Did it make it in?

My thoughts exactly - this would mean that we would still be able to control Max in the episode and would explain the familiar voice from an unfamiliar body.

Edit: Damn Cheri was too quick.

Hey, if your going to get into semantics...

(If you don't get it, it's from Ratchet and Clank.)

If Max's brain is The Great Clock, does that make Orvus Yog-Soggoth?
I'll shut up now.
He better, now that you've mentioned it, or I'm going to be disappointed!
1 Obviously everyone suspects that Sal is going to be Stinky's real boyfriend - is he another red herring like Skunkape?
2 Will we be actually controlling Max's brain from the location of whoever has stolen it?
3 Will we see Flint Paper predominately in this episode if he's investigating Stinky?
4 Will there be many new locations or will it be mainly set around areas similiar to those of the Penal Zone?
5 If Sam is partnering up with Skunkape (as has been hinted), will we finally see more of Skunkape's more emotional side?
6 Will we see more of my personal favourite character - Paperwaite in the next episode or will we have to wait?

Is that about right?

True but it seems more likely that it's Skunkape. Season 2 saw the return of every villain from the earlier episodes eventually.
Telltale had a bad time back then with recycled locations and characters, I doubt the same will happen this time.

Oh wait, still one more episode to come...
How does he change his shape without a brain?
New job for the
i liked how T.H.E.M was in 302. i forget when
Please remember I have no memory of that at all.
I think one of the moles says something like "Don't talk to T.H.E.M", obviously meaning them, but referencing an old telltale gag!
What if he could shapeshift as a brain?
My thoughts exactly - this would mean that we would still be able to control Max in the episode and would explain the familiar voice from an unfamiliar body.
Max is not going to be able to shapeshift as a brain.
How did Gordon see stuff? How come Max isn't dead anyways with his brain and his body separated? Come on, Sam & Max isn't about realism.
