    They also say
Don’t forget, if you’ve already purchased The Devil’s Playhouse through us, all you have to do is log-in to your Telltale account and download the episode on release day.
Anyway I make it 16:11 PDT, that's overtime minus 49 minutes and release date whoopsie minus 7 hours 49 minutes.

I'm going to burn the midnight oil and stay up for this one. Well, I say "burn", maybe "sit in the midnight oil" might be more apt.

Digging around on the server I found this old thing, too.

When cutting together a very early version of the Devil's Playhouse trailer, Shauntron (our video guy!) forgot that he had Pandora running in the background. The result is some accidental brilliant timing between unintended music and a very early form of the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG4HIORypcI

    LOL nice. :D:D

It's up, guys. From the games download screen, though I had to turn a "304" into a "305" in the link to get it to work.
  • edited August 2010
I had hoped to play 305 this night, but hey, waiting one more day is not that bad... For me it's too late anyway to still start the game... :P

    MAC USERS BEWARE
the link goes to a filename of "SamMax305_mac_setup.exe"
THIS IS WRONG: the correct filename is "SamMax305_mac_setup.dmg"
hopefully telltale will correct this broken link soon

I love it so far, but college is preventing me from completing it in one night as usual. By love, I mean LOVE.

    Awesome.

    Congratulations.

And the end, I wasn't waiting for that.

No, really, Congrats. This is my favorite episode of the Season. And that's much said.

I...am not going to lie, I cried twice.
  • edited August 2010
Like I said in the official thread. I cried hard. And I think I'm still shaking from everything. It's just...wow. Such a moving ending, such an amazing season. My mind reels to think of how you guys can top it, whenever you decide to.

I like how the ending suggests a Season 4!

    It's open ended.
    Max didn't die (permanently)
    and by going in the
    time machine
at the end it means they can have whole new whacky adventures!
  • edited August 2010
It makes Season 4 possible but it doesn't exactly suggest that it will happen...
  • edited August 2010
of course not, i said it suggests that there may be a season 4
  • edited August 2010
I promised myself I wouldn't cry. But still I have my eyes
    or my nose
    filled with... you know... those...

Epic plot twists, epic ending. Thanks Telltale.

The only minus in this episode for me is being a little bit easy. But I love watching cinematics more than playing game itself. So, I don't care about that.

And the other only minus is about controls and mouse clicks.

    It is a bit easy...

    Apparently
there's two endings, one where they get in the time machine and one where they don't
    . So I don't think it's a sequel hook.

Why was a little Sam running under Giant Max's feet (when controlling giant max)? Did you do it on purpose, because I laughed meaninglessly when I see him.

I thought I spotted something down there. I'm guessing it was a glitch of some kind if there was a Sam running at Max's feet. Unavoidable probably.

I'm still crying in retrospect ... this episode made me feel worse then the fall of Gandalf in Moria and Mr. Spock's death in Star Trek II together ...

It was one of the stray Sam clones

    Sal
shocked me the most out of all the deaths. With all the others, it felt like they could bring them back but not with him...

EDIT: Oh, and I don't think the conclusion to the whole
    Sal, Stinky, Skunkape
saga was made clear enough. Who and what was plotting against who for how long?

Clone from something he left behind.

Gah... cloning is the new going to Hell and getting them back from there...

This is my theory: I think Stinky and Sal have lived together for a long time, considering he's a weird kind of cockroach and Stinky is confirmed a mermaid. Apparently, they went doing what Stinky wanted all the time. In the time of Sameth and Maximus they were putting a stage show, but, recently, Stinky decided she wants a diner for whathever reason. So, they tricked Grampa Stinky into think he created Girl Stinky from the Cake of the Dammed, so she could, somehow, innherit the diner and send Grampa Stinky to a vacation. Then he died and later resurected, and he decided to stay in the diner, resorting to the Plan B: Kill him.

I think in the last episode, Sal kind of dumped Stinky because he was tired of all the things she make him do the last decade and Stinky then decided use Skun-ka'pe for kill grampa Stinky and obtain the diner.

I don't know if I nailed. Need correction.

Probably a typo but dinner is a cooked meal. Made me laugh that a murder plot could be over something as unimportant as lunch or tea.

    Argh... T_T

Which one is the correct word then? I'm talking about Stinky's if you ask.
Stupid second language issues... And the fact I have no classes and my abilities are 70% self taught...

    The word is 'diner'.
