Don't go eating all the trailers now, leave some for the rest of us.

I noticed a previous episode appeared on the website before the e-mail notification came around (by about 12 hours or something). Probably a demand smoothing strategy, but it means if you're impatient it pays to check both.

Also I bought and completed Puzzle Agent while waiting for 305 to come out. Now I'm waiting for Puzzle Agent 102 and Sam&Max 305, that's just made it all worse.

Actually, this is the case for all episodes. Probably for the reason mentioned yes.
So if you want it ASAP don't trust your inbox, but F5 here with the rest of us...

I have a question: Will we be getting screenshots, or any update, soon?

The latest blog entry has a nice little screen shot I think a lot of people would be interested in.

2 weeks huh? Also, GIANT FLAMING MAX HEADS OH GOD WE'RE DOOMED!
  • edited August 2010
Well, I think we now know the significance of this episode's name, huh?
  • edited August 2010
It's the newspaper from 301 (Second week of rampage)... :D.

    IIRC.
  • edited August 2010
And here it is, in full size!!! Taking up space in a horrible looking way to clutter up the forums!

    Newspaper
  • edited August 2010
So, hm. Do the Flaming Max Heads mean that Max is aware of what he's doing? Or is just a projection made by Junior using Max's psyche?
  • edited August 2010
It's just newspaper magic I think.
  • edited August 2010
Yeah, the pic shows him as Cthlullu Max, so I doubt he has his firey regular head.

Where the newspapers got that from then... who knows?
  • edited August 2010
I dunno ... we are talking about psychic powers run amok here, so a photo manip explanation doesn't seem any more likely than not.

The Daily Shriek? What happened to Bad and Worse News?

The Daily Shriek? What happened to Bad and Worse News?

I'd Shriek if a giant demon rabbit smashed into my bathroom while I was bathing. Bad News and Worse News is just a laugh compared to what is happening for a possible 4 week rampage.

The Daily Shriek? What happened to Bad and Worse News?

"The Daily Shriek" is a tabloid from the comics, and I thought it would be fun to bring it into the game. 301's newspaper was "It's Just Like News." There are a few more tabloids floating around in the opening credits.

I knew I was going to have to go through that opening frame-by-frame eventually...

Is the Daily Shriek by any chance from The Beast from the Cereal Isle?

Still no date? Come on guys - it's been over a month now and I'm getting crazy here....i mean crazier ;)

I bet they'll spring it on us unexpectedly on the 31st.

Man I'm running out of things to do. No games to play (here in my student box with my crappy lappy anyway), no interesting sports to watch, I've read all the news, no projects that need finishing touches... Telltale, please, don't let me get any closer to what I fear the most: READING A FICTIONAL BOOK TO PASS TIME!! Even the thought of it scares the crap outta me...

You might want to try reading actual existing books then. Seeing how apparently your fictional books are boring as hell...

Good thing The Complete LOST blu-ray collection came in the mail for me yesterday. :) Time should be passing very quickly for me now.

Agreed. I know I wouldn't be able to condense the season so far to 1 minute 20! Finale looks very cinematic and story-driven, like the finale of ToMI was. *raises shield for flame attacks*

Anyone recall all of the trailers well enough to figure out if the recap is mostly trailer footage. I'm only thinking so because the bit on 203 is only of the first part.
  • edited August 2010
Ooooooh, an entire army of Maimtrons. And I guess this explains the 2 flaming Max heads from the newspaper.

    COUNTDOWN: 4 days...

I think it's a bit of both. The Sammun-Mak part of the episode is not important to the main story. But I am surprised they left Charlie Hotep, Yog-Soggoth and how Max and Junior joined out. They're important.

That trailer was pure awesome! I cannot wait for monday now! I bet it's going to be one hell of a finale.:D

Weeeee! What was that lounge style thing behind Sam when he asked where the spores came from?

Methinks it's that place with all the clocks we got a glimpse of concept art for, which, is probably what the inside of Max looks like.
