I have visions of Sam hitting the jukebox in Stinkys to get it to work now
Ah, from the record scratching. Maybe, you never know these things... I think it has to do with that concept art though, I haven't heard that one in Stinky's Diner yet.

There has been the reoccuring theme of 80's movies this season, so maybe this episode will involve the 80's itself? Unlikely, but the sound clip was cool.
This 80s theme idea seems interesting... perhaps somebody from the 80s will be really important in this episode (I can think of Momma Bosco and Grandpa Stinky...).
Hmm... I can guess from the sound clip that the dogglegangers help out Sam (since they're all still alive as far as we've seen) and drive the DeSoto for him so he can do other things (i.e shoot his gun) because he has no one else to do it for him, and the Dogglegangers want to mess with the radio.
I wasn't counting on one anyways. Given the theme of this season, a musical number would feel awkward at this point. And not in the good kind of awkward, too.

At least I'm not the only one in the fandom who feels that way!
I posted one but it quickly got hidden by the mischief you and a couple of others were enthusing about.
That song doesn't count; it isn't original. It wasn't written specifically for the game. Also, not being mean or anything, but the majority of us weren't really into that song.

Well, I thought if we were desperate for some kind of musical number, even fan-based, then an unoriginal thing such as that would do. Am I the only one here that enjoys Metal then and think Metal and Carnage a la Max are a marriage made in Hell?
The actual music didn't change depending on the song selected, though, right?
(If it did, apologies to Jared for not noticing... or I might have been bugged)
Not really, but the lyrics change and the tune of how they chant the lyrics. I used the Telltale Music Extractor and Audacity and, well, glued it together. Download here =D
I knew I wanted the songs to be nursery rhymes and lullabies, 'cause they've been stuck in my head lately because of my baby boys (Max and Charlie, no relation to lagomoprh or demonic dummy).
When I finally got around to slapping lyrics on them, I just sat around in the office typing out glotteral replacements for the real words, then singing them out loud until they sounded "cool." I assume that Mark and Will thought I was having an "episode."
Does anyone else have those "nursery rhymes" stuck in your head? I keep repeating it over and over and over again. "Eternal Darkness, eternal darkness" or even the mind plague one.
And now I also know why I wanted subs for my musical number; I can't understand a WORD they're saying... at all... (well, except for 'Charlie Ho-Tep').

I undestand "Charlie Ho-Tep", "Eternal Darkness" and "Dance of Flames"? (The last one probably is "Crown of Flames" instead).
... Phew. Now I don't feel so fickle for counting that sequence as a musical number ever since finishing the game. After that, I could more than live without a "proper" song this season (even if still missing its presence a little).

A quick listen to the mp3 (thanks, 'tis quite nifty!) leaves me thinking it's "Tongues of Flame." And playing it again ... yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it.
Everyday, i look at here to see anything new. And everyday, I say "Maybe tomorrow." and go offline. Maybe tomorrow, at least the trailer of last episode is going to be given... I hope... Maybe tomorrow...

I'm pretty sure they'll release it on such a day that it creates the greatest likelihood of me staying up to 4am playing it and not getting into work on time the following day.

Heeyyy...
So I'm guessing we won't have an awesome or even any musical number in this game... Just more cool music and a jukebox to listen to.
Pure guess, however.
Oh well, looks like the fans are going to have to do one for them when 305 comes out!
At least I'm not the only one in the fandom who feels that way!

Awwww.... I've been waiting for one since 301 with the Toybox song.
"The quality of our music numbers has really gone down since we've been on break".
That right there made me think there would eventually be one.
There IS a musical number in 304, if no one knows where and what and when it is then I'll tell you.
No guess? Alright, it's the ending with the Sam Clone summoning chant. I mean really, isn't like playing a great big musical number?

(One day after the final episode?? Oh, I spoiled it)
ME!

I liked Sam singing them, for sure

Anyway, gonna listen to your file now...
Here's the explanation. In the Jared's Thread, but I quote:

You and me both. *sigh*
The best way to play!
