I've been passive up to now, but you're quickly turning into my new on-board nemesis. And if that comes to pass, not even your modhood will save you.

So... Wait. Is this an anime season finale or a Star Trek season finale? Oh, or is it Battlestar Galactica?

We'll find out next week. Either everyone will die, no one will die, or everyone will die except for those who live.

Certainly. Now all that's left is to amuse ourselves with predicted casualty lists for the next six or seven days!

Heathen! You stray from the true path!

BTW we can totally have flame wars over this.

There are way too many brown-outs going on around here. I feel so much better now that I've got a working UPS again.

Is that a case or a battery? If it's a case, where can I get it?

It's a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) which is basically a surge protector with a battery so that when the power goes out, the battery backup on the UPS protects your equipment from shutting off immediately. It's useful in case of a power outage so that you can save your work and properly shut down your machine, or as in figmentPez's case, can protect your equipment from shutting off/rebooting during a brown-out.

It's important, if you get one, to have a UPS that can output as much or more wattage than the combined power of the equipment plugged into the battery-protected portion of it.

Last things I bought were a mic headset, blank CDs, Driver for PC, and The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain.

Actually, the last time the power went out for a significant time at my place, I turned my Desktop PC off, but left my wifi router and dsl modem on, then I was able to continue using my laptop until the laptop's battery started dying.

Got this with my Nintendo points:

(I was saving up to get some free eshop points when it inevitably comes out, but I don't really have much videogame swag. And I'd argue this is more valuable than a 500 point game! XD)

HOLY CRAP. Why does America's Club Nintendo suck?!

HOLY CRAP. Why does America's Club Nintendo suck?!

I was suprised it was only 2000 stars meself.

They still have Snes-styled wii controllers and both versions of the Mario Galaxy OSTs available but they are much more expensive. (7000 for the controler, 3850 for regular galaxy OST, 4850 for platinum version)

For 2500 I could have got some Hanafuda cards or regular cards

2500 for a mario hat (ds case)
7000 for a nintendo laptop bag
7000 for a mario figurine (one with bowser, mario, peach, luigi, a goomba and toad)
4000 for a "golden" wii wheel
5000 for a copy of Mario Power Tennis for the GBA

But it is neat that you get 50 points for surveys now.
Wouldn't have been able to get that CD otherwise.

I am also sooo happy that most, if not all 3DS games give you stars now, not just Nintendo games.

EDIT: I missed out the Kirby frisbee (2500) and the Mario Hand Towels (2 different ones, 1000 each), but they aren't as cool.

I bought 'Deus Ex' and 'Deus Ex: Invisible War' since they're both on special on GamersGate.

    I also bought a bunch of CD's:

King Crimson - 'The Power to Believe'
Dream Theater - 'When Dream and Day Unite'
Yes - 'Close to the Edge'
    Rush - 'Roll the Bones'

    I'm in a prog mood :).

    Ah, good then :).

Oh, and by the way, I actually own all of the LaBrie DT albums; 'WDaDU' is just the last Dream Theater album I need to add to my collection... as well as the 'Falling Into Infinity Demos', which I'm very curious about hearing.
