Description: the telltale team travel to a place where they need no roads and find the formula for perfect adventure games before they start they're own company.
    Something that took quickly

Final entry - I have no idea if I made it in time. Isn't there another hour left? XD

This was a friend's idea actually. I can't decide if it's too much like the Stan one or not, but I just decided screw it I'll do it anyway.

Dealer: What interests you the most about this vehicle, sir?
Doc: You could say my interests are purely...scientific.
Dealer: Science! I love science! You could say salesmanship is a science. Yes, I think you'll love this vehicle. It's very nostalgic.
Doc: You could say it's like looking at the past.

They thought it ended in paradise. But because of Hugo Reyes, it all begins again.

This is ending in like 20 minutes right? Any idea when we can expect results? I don't think I'll win anything, but having a bit of hope doesn't hurt XD
  • edited September 2010
The, rather bad, entry of a newbie in image editing.

    Good luck to everyone.

    We can expect results

You did it wrong, it should have been Desmond and Faraday.

So we've picked our winners. Myself, along with the help of some of the others here picked our favorites. So here they are.

Crazy Fan BTTF - Sam & Max

    Spadge - Dr. Who

Trenchfoot - Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner

Ray-The-Sun - Reginald Van Winslow Animated GIF

    Darkmire - Puzzle Agent Directions

Thank you everyone for playing! Did you guys like this kind of contest? As in, would you want to have something like this again?

    Hell yes!
  • edited September 2010
    Holy heck, I won?

And yeah, I enjoyed that contest (even if it gave me 4 reasons to hate using GIMP), it seems like something that the whole forum should get involved in.
  • edited September 2010
Awesome, I won! Finally I'm gonna be able to play The Devil's Playhouse in a complete form! (I have only played the demos so far and watched the walkthroughs through YouTube) :D

And yes, these kind of things would be awesome to have as a regular thing! :)

    :winslow:

Congratulations, guys! And yeah, I would definitely go for more of these contests.
  • edited September 2010
I didn't won (:<) but I'll be happy if there are more contests like this
  • edited September 2010
It was a cool idea, and I enjoyed seeing the entries, everyone was creative and this was a good idea.

I only ask that a future contest last over the weekend so those of us who work normal hours (in the states) have a chance to spend time on an entry. Also, some kind of announcement on the mailing list would make it more likely we get a chance to see the contest at the start so if it isn't over a weekend we have ample time to participate.

Personally speaking, I buy everything from Telltale anyway, but I'd like a chance to submit an entry at a chance for some surprise gift giving.

    Ah... I remember Telltale Tuesdays...

    Congratulations!! :)

Thanks, Secret Fawful... at least someone liked my entries :D

    And uh, yeah... more please!

Btw, my favourite was this one ^^

The contest was good and I hope theres more, but Im a bit disappointed that the judging advice was a bit misleading
  • edited September 2010
Wow, for some reason i kinda predicted those guys won, well except the puzzle agent one(I was sleeping after my third entry ) I just woke up :D, Congrats to the winners, and yes I do like more contests like this makes it feel very competetive in getting a game. :D

I'm quite disappointed I didn't win, but oh well :(

Congrats to the winners, and yes, we do need more of these contests.
  • edited September 2010
even though i really wanted to win the contest for TDPH (i cant buy it because of personal reasons :( ) the contest really made me better my photoshopping skills if any :D
  • edited September 2010
I did not expect! Thanks Alan Johnson!
  • edited September 2010
    *sighs* Oh, well...
  • edited September 2010
This is so epic!!! I really wasn't expecting I'd win, there were so many great entries around. Thanks, Telltale! You guys rock!

We should totally have more contests in the future. The fans are a dedicated and talented bunch. Plus it's a great fun way to connect with both fans and the Telltale Team. :)

This is full of win. And now makes me sad that there's no 3d version of DotT. :(

    And here are my favourites:

Bloody Eugene - Love bug crossover.
The idea alone is so brilliant. It's a beloved car, just like the DeLorean.

Secret Fawful - Marty vs. Elvis
I would so love to have these two jammin' together! ;)

miffi - Stan tries to sell the DeLorean to Guybrush
It's a comic, all right, but I really thought it was a funny idea.

Hope you guys are right there for the next contest to win your deserved prizes and appreciation!
  • edited September 2010
I hope there would be another contest soon with TDPH being a prize again or maybe bttf or maybe PNATI, Telltale is nice for giving people chances to get the game their fans want.
