No, but I thought they were gonna have Duck fly off the swing and into the electric fence... It seemed sort of unsafe, but I fixed that swing anyways thinking maybe it'd happen.
This is actually very worthy of discussion. From a narrative standpoint, from the standpoint of taboo, from the standpoint of genre rules as well as one of "moral design". So why can't you? Because you're too scared of the possibility? A bit like I myself am?

The flaming stops either way.
I've personally never understood the big controversy about killing kids in video games, I kill everything else on god's green earth - what makes children so special and "protected" all of a sudden. I had no problem slaughtering them in the first 2 Fallout games and Deus Ex but now it's a big no-no?
Plenty of children die in the graphic novel so if they wanted to indeed stay true to the source material...;)
What about choosing between Clementine or the rest of the group? Doubt they would ever make you choose between that but I would have to choose the rest of the group.
hmm clem being a zombie and having to kill her isnt really an original plot point considering they literally did that as the mid season finale for the walking dead tv program, and although its a completely seperate universe it still wouldnt be a "Fresh" idea for the walking dead. As creative and original the ideas we've seen so far, i dont think we re gonna see whats coming at the end....
it sickens me that anyone would try and justify child killing in any form.
what happens to pedo's when they are found out....same goes for child killers...
It's a story broski. Carl (Rick's son) has killed another child, had half his face shot off, and killed Shane. You're in for a rude awakening if you're expecting a sunshine and unicorn ending to this game :P . Hell, Rick cuts off a mothers hand that wouldn't let go of Carl so they could escape and watched the mother and son die.

i know it is but i just don't like that plot device, to me it is wrong on so many levels..
and thus i protest about it. ps not read the comics only watched the tv show..

It's something that should make you uncomfortable. The Walking Dead is a brutal story. Part of the reason I still check this forum is a weird curiosity about how the community will react to the game if it stays true to the spirit of the comics.
I am sorry I spoiled some of the story from the comics for you, but if you enjoy the television show I'd suggest you check them out. They're far superior to the show in my opinion.
i'll watch/ play doesn't mean i don't have to like it which i don't..
how about this for a comparison if you saw an injured puppy cute as a button would you kill it?
Doesn't matter, this is TWD. If it breathes it can and probably will be killed. Doesn't mean I like it. You can be as cute as you want, doesn't mean a serial killer won't decapitate two little girls in this setting. Welcome to the zombie apocalypse.
At this rate Milo, I'll be surprised if you don't seek counseling once they finish with Woodbury.
Untill TTG says they are officially going to woodbury dont make assumptions
The Walking Dead Wiki has it listed as a title to a chapter in Episode 3. Even if it doesn't, how does that change the legitimacy of my post? Maybe Lee and Clem find the Happy Place Hello Kitty Free Hug Village! Totally sounds like something Kirkman would do.
It is a somewhat safe assumption though, considering Lilly and what not.
Golly, by the time I got to the end of this thread I forgot what it was suppose to be about! Puppies?! Awwweeee!
My prediction for the end of episode 5 is that Lee will die and Clem will survive. I definitely don't think the game is going to end with both of them living happily ever-after. And I don't think they'll kill Clem off.. so yeah.
You people who haven't read the comic reeeaaaally should!

The game has - to a small extent - the potential to set the spirit of comics and series. Delays aside, Lee's story will END before Rick's in whatever incarnation. We don't know if Kirkman wants to end his story with a ray of hope... so we can't really know if a leftover chance for Lee & Clem would contradict the spirit of the comics or even "ruin" the ending(s) of the Telltale game.
/edit: Errr... would anyone be against my changing the title to "Could Telltale kill Clementine?" or something like that? Thread title's a bit meaningless right now.
If they do kill clem, I doubt it would be before the very end of the season because of how important that relationship is as a story hook. They may be willing to go to brutal lengths but they have to do so in a way that serves the story.

Let me Repeat and Reiterate and Refrain
until TTG says they are going to woodbury dont make assumptions
Vain and i think even Jake has said that while the Wiki guys are doing their best they do make mistakes like with the release dates. Episode 3 is called The Long Rode Ahead or is that the official title and the nickname is road to woodbury and if so what is starved for help / a brand new days nicknames?
I could see it more likely ending with you having to choose between saving Clem or sacrificing yourself to save her.
TWD writers always resort to their "bread and butter", and that is you will never be able to guess what we have in store... It is was makes TWD stand out from anything ever done before in a horror/ zombie apocalypse genre, they will mentally mess you up!

Just stop posting stupid Ideas like that. The ending will probably much more emotional and hard hitting then something that stupid.
Period
End of the Line
I, the Heir to Lee's Axe, Living Weapon of the Queen, will gladly accept this duel. In defense of the Queen...
:mad::mad: To Arms! :mad::mad:
Making you choose between Clem and Duck.
The flaming stops either way.
I'd choose Clem in a heartbeat.

Duck and Clementine = Clem

Duck and Kenny = Duck
Well the problem there is
i'll watch/ play doesn't mean i don't have to like it which i don't..

Retards are only more likely to get us killed like they did to
