Well, does Strong Bad get a chance to stop filming and go to his house and play the new game?

In other threads on this very board, Telltale folks have revealed that there's a Videlectrix game in episode 4, and unlike episode 3 you can play it throughout most of the episode.

I don't know if it would be fun to give away how it all works before you get a chance to play the episode, though!

Could you give me a bear-ly obvious hint of the game?

    It's a catastrophe.

Strange name for a game, even for Videlectrix' standard.

Um.... you need to check out sbemail 80.

    So, um.
Just out of sheer curiosity, whose gonna be on the icon for the PC version? Telltale wouldn't dare do a doubletap on Strong Bad, would they? I guess it could be Dangeresque, if you consider him a "different" character. Maybe this one will be Strong Mad as Killingyouguy! Or Coach Z as Renaldo! That one makes sense, Renaldo is kinda central to the Dangeresque series......

I dunno. I got the 3 other games all in a row on my desktop, and the question just popped in my head. Who will grace the star in the 4th installment?

If I had to guess, I'd say Coach Z/Reynaldo

Wait, so that means either King of Town is featured in episode 3, or it couldn't cross your minds that Perducci might be one of the most important unimportant characters in this episode.

It's last week's next week now (unless you meant a week from the post, which is just plain ol' mean)! Hand over the release date and no one gets SBlounshked! (Geez, that's a hard candy to spell!)

Chill, we're probably not gonna know until Thursday, that's how this always happens.
  • edited November 2008
Anyone reading this might want to go check out the proposed episode ideas page. It has an almost completely unbelievable revelation, and states that the release date is the 17th. If everything is to be believed, the preview on Dangeresque 3 should be the first thing you look at.
  • edited November 2008
Uh, it says on the episode page itself now that it will be out on now 17th

Whoa, man, chill. Them examples teeter on coherence.
Satirization is one thing, which The Brothers Chaps do well. What materialized from those other movies was horrible non-satire references.

I know that this argument has been posted elsewhere, and I'm leaving this at that.

Woot. I never expected it to come out this early. I wish the website was more than just the episode name glossy-fied, though.

Who else than me has used the Dangeresque 3 background on the desktop. It looks pretty sweet.

I wonder if the wait for episode 5 will only be 3 weeks as well... its a shame that as soon as they get into a groove, the season is almost over.

Oh well, at least there is Sam and Max to look forward to in Febuary
  • edited November 2008
I Dangeresque'd my background, too. It looks awesome. I'm going to try tiling the Dangeresque star thing now!

Oh, that actually looks pretty sweet. Yeah, you can see some of the stuff I use to make my comics in the General Chat board.

Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective Coming soon to a theater near you. Starring Strong Bad as Dangeresque, Coach Z as Renaldo, Homestar Runner as Dangeresque Too?
(Possibly) Featoring Marzipan as Cutsey Buttons, The KOT as Perducci, and Strong Sad as Hot Tub. The Cheat as Istanbull or Szechuan Steve, Bubs as Unnamed bad guy, and Strong Mad as Killingyouguy!
  • edited November 2008
Wait, how did Strong Bad convince Strong Sad to help along?

Did Strong Bad steal borrow something again?
Um.... you need to check out sbemail 80.

In case you haven't heard the news, no, the S is not for sucks, but I was talking about the game "A Catastrophe".

I think they're guessing based on someone saying that Sam and Max wouldn't be out until early 2009.

first batch of www.dangeresque3.com stuff is up!

You need a pretty new version of Flash for this to work, so beware. We deliberately went over the top with this site to make it as much of a gratuitous movie site as possible.
  • edited November 2008
has everyone also seen the new screenshots HERE for all to gaze over.

P.S. why is the bear holding a shark screen posted twice ;)

That site clearly is a testimony to how FLIPPIN' AWESOME this episode is going to be. I take it that the gameplay video is the only thing accessible in the "first batch", and not that my Flash is acting up?
