no I wouldn't attack Arvo. but I would attack in self-defence or if he was attacking another member of the group (but since he was trying to call off his group, I don't think he would.)
Sadly, Carver was right. There are only strong and weak people.
Besides that, fuck Arvo. He came with a group of assholes wielding guns that had an intention to rob and possibly kill us. I, of course, won't let them get away clean for that.
He did a damn good job of making people want to bash his face in.
I guess that for some people, Arvo being a 'weakling' is worth hating him rather than sympathizing. Because clearly, you'd be thriving once all the systems you depend on are suddenly gone.
He may of been an "asswipe" but he did a damn good job of surviving.
Also, help me understand. A man (a poor crippled little nerdy outcas… moret nonetheless) saunters up to us like a little smug asshole, demands all our shit, then signals his friends to threatens us with weapons. They retaliate by shooting at and possibly getting everyone killed, and people can side with this fuck? Really?
No. He dies lead the moment the game gives me the option. I won't allow someone, no matter if he's drug in the 'wrong crowd' or not to get away with starting conflict he has no intent of finishing.
The shootout wasn't exactly his fault... If we're given the option, I definitely won't kill him unless he does something really terrible to make me change my mind.
The shootout wasn't exactly his fault... If we're given the option, I definitely won't kill him unless he does something really terrible to make me change my mind.
Given the option........ I don't know he can be useful for all we know he can be great with medicine probably was a college student before the world went to shit. In the other hand he is a liar and probably a betrayer since he probably was hiding all that medicine from his group.... We don't know much about him it's a hard decision but I'll let him live and see how it goes because either way he is determinant.
I agree that I would have liked the choice, 9/10 I wouldn't, but I definitely have a Clem who would become a bit more.... expedient? and definitely suspicious to strangers, a situation could have been made in where it felt better to kill Arvo because he seemed 'threatening'
I mean people want to spare Arvo because he's got a leg brace and "aw, he's the groups bitch. Poor Arvo."
And you're changing the subject on the last sentence there. This is about Arvo, a slimy little worm in Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 2. Plus, if "all the systems you depend on are suddenly gone" what would make you think I'd just lie down and let people continuously kick me around? Everyone has their breaking point, my Clementine has reached hers. Arvo dies if given the chance, as does everyone of those scumbags that pointed their weapons at us.
I just hope Arvo aims high, cause my Clementine will be.
He did a damn good job of making people want to bash his face in.

To be honest, I'm not sure what i'd do, it is true that he is suspicious of hiding medicine and that he set up an ambush, but we barely know him and the things most presume may not be what they seem
with the ambush, in a way it was jane who caused that if you didn't take the medicine, he may have left you alone if you just gave him the medicine, but jane threatened him before he left which caused a bit of friction, then again maybe not, but it seemed that his main goal was for jane, as he specifically asked where she was, and its natural in a way to think its a trap if someone who you just encountered and threatened you yesterday left the group thinking they're hiding her, also he isn't void of humanity, as he did want to stop the shoot out when he found out that they had a baby with them, he mostly likely just thought of the group as assholes
as for the medicine, i'm not sure if he was hiding it from the group, true it looks like he's hiding it and its kind of like bens situation, but i find it odd that despite being with his crew and mentioning the medicine, they didn't seem angry with him, or questioned him at all as to why he would have medicine with him, it may have been he was told to hide it, or maybe the opposite of what some think, that he wasn't hiding it from his group, but for his group or probably from a specific member of the group, there may have been people like jane who wanted to take the medicine for themselves, i find it odd too that if it was like bens situation, that he'd walk quite a way just to drop it off, and no one was encountered trying to find the medicine in the area
probably going in too deep with this but its just my opinion, if he doesn't want any trouble and did it just because of cautiousness or distrust and doesn't try anything funny. i'll let him live, i'll only kill him if i have to
There's a part of me that wouldn't, because I mean I gave him his meds back and he was grateful at the time, and he was really taken back when my Clementine said we had a baby along with us and obviously cared enough to tell his group.
But then there's this other part of me that needs to remember he tried calming down the situation but was the one that caused it by lying, If he's responsible for a death in the group or it turns out he doesn't even have a sister then yes, I would kill him because I couldn't take the chance of him and his group again if any of mine are to live. However I hold Jane account for the entire thing I mean really, a situation such as that could have been handled so differently, it's a massive reason why I dislike Jane's character. I think that plays a big part in why she left the group, she didn't want to be held responsible for holding him at gunpoint and threatening Arvo if anything was ever to come out of it and look at that, a fucking ambush did
However, he would be my last choice if it was anyone in the Russian group, my first choice would be Buricko and the other guy, they were fucking dicks
It's all about survival, I wouldn't risk my own life over them, especially if he fucked me over like that.
No. Arvo only wanted peaceful revenge by taking back some things. After guns were drawn, he insisted that the Russians back off, especially after seeing the baby. If anything, I'll let Arvo go, maybe a punch to go along with it. But his friends are dead.
But him leading his group to ours is as bad as 'peaceful revenge' because really, in an ambush involving guns and being robbed what way is it more likely to go? Certainly not the 'peaceful' way anyway. He could insist all he wanted, I helped the guy by making the decision not to rob him and he fucked me over and accused me of robbing them anyway!

Ahh 'tis be true. Forgot to mention that. But really I'd be mad at Jane for provoking him more than intended. Arvo was well on his way out before Jane intervened and made things worse. Emptying the bullets and leaving the gun behind would've been enough. I feel Arvo's need for revenge, but then again.. if any members of our group get killed, he's a goner.

No, he may have lied about me stealing medicine from him, but he was partially truthful on the deck depending on dialogue. I asked him if it was just him and his sister and he told me that he had many friends in the woods, which wasn't a lie.
I know, and how do we know he doesn't have a sick sister in the woods? he seems pretty truthful, he told Clem and Jane about his group and where they were located, and to be fair, Jane did steal his gun.

Ben Is Your Brother? You Look Like Nick, So Isn't Luke Your Brother?
Thread*

I Get It.
hell no... http://steamcommunity.com/id/Iamuseful
He's Not Going Away Clean In Anyone's Book.
What Was That A 'Hell No' To, Ben Being Your Brother Or Luke Being Your Brother?
Luke being my brother....
thanks for understanding
Okay.
No Problem.
He did a damn good job of making people want to bash his face in.

He Indirectly Caused It, If He Didn't Lead His Group To Clem And The Others Then There Would Be No Shootout.
What Point?
No, I think killing is wrong no matter what.

Yeah, you got me there.

"In this life now, you kill or you die...or you die and you kill."
If I was forced to kill someone, I'd choose myself.
Him and his group did started it.

You say that but I doubt it, thats one problem with this all being a game. I think most do gooders likely wouldnt do what they think.

Nah, I wouldn't.
Kill him I won't. But have Clementine interrogate him Batman style I would.
Arvo was trying to convince Buricko not to start a fight with the group, and he was worried he was gonna die.

It Makes You Sound Like Kanaya Maryam When You Talk Like This
(which is not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion.)

If his sister really is sick, she wouldn't be healthy enough to be at the shootout so if she exists then she probably is in the woods.
