Probably in the teaser trailer that Telltale Games will probably release during E3, starting June 14th.
I've never been so excited for a … moredate. Finally seeing how Wellington really is is driving me nuts.
I've got to make sure I don't die until then.

Fellow survivors, this past weekend we let you know that the upcoming season of The Walking Dead would be making its highly anticipated premiere this Fall. Next week also marks the annual E3 Gaming Expo, a celebration of all things video games, and we're preparing one of our biggest and most pivotal showings for Telltale yet.
This Sunday, we'll be revealing a sneak peek at the all-new season of The Walking Dead - The Telltale Series. There's been a lot of speculation since the conclusion of the previous season in 2014 on where the story will go next... and we've been working hard in the studio as well as with Robert Kirkman and our friends at Skybound to take the series in an unexpected direction.
What we can tell you now is that this new season will serve as both a bo… [view original content]
Well, looks like outside, judging by that door and what looks like power lines? Telephone lines? An alley maybe. It'll probably show up in some teaser trailer or something.
Can anybody make out what's drawn on the logo? It looks roundish.

The "taking the series in an unexpected direction" line has me just a little worried. I think we've outlined every possible scenario for season 3 in this forum since S2 ended. Maybe it's a case of not having enough imagination, but I'm not sure how Telltale can do anything "unexpected" by this point, besides Clementine's unicorn drawing suddenly coming to life and destroying every last zombie on the planet.
I wouldn't be worried too much. I think it's more to do with how they will handle the game itself (It's handling of choices etc.) rather than the direction of the story as a whole. I think one thing everyone expects Telltale to do is to have the different endings of S2 join together at some point. Not saying it will happen, but as an example, not having them choices converge would be unexpected.
Reading past that, they mention "A bold new entry point for the story" and a continuation of Lee and Clem's story. As they mention this alongside the two major protagonists, I wonder if we are about to be introduced to a new character we will be playing.

XD the comments on the ign posts. Everybody wants TWAU S2 lol. I mean I'm excited for TWD S3(assuming it's a new protagonist), but jeez. It feels like season 2 and Michonne ran a lot of people away

Most of the complaints with Michonne boiled down to it not being a continuation of Season 1/2's story in a direct way, or that the episodes were too short. I don't think it made people "run away."

It ran way more people towards it. TWD S2 was loved by pretty much everyone except the ones in this forum.
