Well this surely is a surprise. Looks like Season 3 is closer than we thought. This waiting period wasn't that bad. It was actually quite pleasant. Now I know that this fall will be an exciting moment. I've waited this long, and I've been very patient. I hope it's gonna be good.
I find the comic art style better as it encourages them to work creatively around limitations. Telltale's engine is not as highly refined as engines from larger studios, so they have to be creative and use unique art styles.
Judging by recent retweets on Telltale's account, it does seem that Job's last tweet may indeed have been a hint that Telltale will also show a little of Season 3 at E3.
Given that Telltale retweeted this, I'm a little skeptical they would retweet this if the information included was wrong (and they've subtly hinted at things in the past via retweets if I recall correctly). In which case, next week might possibly be a little more interesting, it seems.
I definitely was impressed with Michonne. It felt more like the good ol' S1 in terms of gameplay. I mean, with Pete being around or not was handled very well. Not only that the return of a full scale HUB! The action choreography was also well done, done beautifully. Not only that, it gave some strong characters such as Norma, Sam and Randall. And the grey matter of protagonist/antagonist relationship was handled was handled in a very good manner as the writers were trying to portray. Only downside for me was the massive loading/lag issues. 9/10
I've heard that apparently telltale is planning someway to let last gen saves from seasons 1 and 2 to be imported to next gen. Is this confirmed or am I stuck with my saves on last gen?
The thing about importing saves was mentioned in this article.
Carrying your earlier progress forward is another matter entirely. The first two seasons of The Walking Dead pre-date a lot of the work Telltale has done — and continues to do — to rope all-important player choices and saves into the cloud.
"We've got a strategy to help Season 3 players ... collect all their data from the previous games. [W]e didn't have the cloud services in Season 1 that we have now," Bruner said. "So we're going to have a solution for everybody that we're not talking about it yet."
It looks like they are working on some way to import or generate your choices for season 3 but there aren't many details yet.

I don't know if this is a concept that could even work, but what if they just retroactively patched the previous seasons with cloud save compatibility? Telltale's current cloud format is tied to your Telltale account if I'm not mistaken, so in theory, if they just added compatibility to the first two seasons, all the player would have to do is create an account, launch the game on the older system, and let the save files sync to the cloud server.
But I have no idea if something like that is as easy as that, or if it's even possible to begin with.

My guess is that there'll be an additional standalone download (with access to cloud services) that imports TWD saves from the same systems that the download is on and then transfers that save data to the cloud. The cloud data could then be imported to Season Three.

My hype went from 20% to 100% in an instant. Oh Jesus Christ, I can't even … morewait until E3 takes place.
That is in… June? July?
Never mind, the sacred information was a few posts below.
Fellow survivors, this past weekend we let you know that the upcoming season of The Walking Dead would be making its highly anticipated premiere this Fall. Next week also marks the annual E3 Gaming Expo, a celebration of all things video games, and we're preparing one of our biggest and most pivotal showings for Telltale yet.
This Sunday, we'll be revealing a sneak peek at the all-new season of The Walking Dead - The Telltale Series. There's been a lot of speculation since the conclusion of the previous season in 2014 on where the story will go next... and we've been working hard in the studio as well as with Robert Kirkman and our friends at Skybound to take the series in an unexpected direction.
What we can tell you now is that this new season will serve as both a bold new entry point for the story, as well as a continuation of the saga that began with Lee and Clementine in 2012.
There's more we could tell you right now... but the more we say... the more we'll be spoiling what's to come. Tune in LIVE this Sunday, June 12th to IGN.com at 3pm PT / 6pm ET for your first look at the new season, and to hear more from the team at Telltale on where things are headed next.
The best is yet to come for 2016 and beyond, and we can't wait to show you what's lurking just around the corner...

Just let it in...

It looks better, too, imo
Oh that's a big announcement.
So, is it going to release in december then?
If about 'Michonne' said Late Fall and It's was December, then just Fall might be October-November.
Not a very useful guide from the looks of it.
That's quite early! hype!
Guessing the second episode will release 5 months later?
The first 2 episodes, after that, no.
Judging by recent retweets on Telltale's account, it does seem that Job's last tweet may indeed have been a hint that Telltale will also show a little of Season 3 at E3.

Telltale will show walking dead season 3 at e3 2016 they will probably show us like a teaser trailer.
I'm expecting to see Clem walk in the snow again.
It has been prophesised by our resident medium Jim so it shall happen.

A new teaser from @puzzlebox
It looks like we might be getting something at E3
I'm hoping to see a teaser trailer or at least some early screenshots. JUST GIVE US SOMETHING DAMMIT!...I'm sorry. I'll sit down now.

Announced it will be at E3
So when is E3?
E3 is from June 14th-16th.

Probably in the teaser trailer that Telltale Games will probably release during E3, starting June 14th.
I've never been so excited for a date. Finally seeing how Wellington really is is driving me nuts.
I've got to make sure I don't die until then.
And it's Not Even E3, yet!
