I would not put this into my living room (mainly because that would mean fist-sized pixels, and there has to be some limit), but it captures the mood of MI2 so well that I'm really astonished.

That's a shame, it's an amazing game and has some of the most amazing 2D graphics I have ever seen! Metal Slug 3 is on XBLA and you can get the full collection on the Wii as the Metal Slug Anthology. Watch some youtube videos of it or something
If anyone has played Alien Hominid from the creators of Castle Crashers. It is basically the same as that and the creators LOVE Metal Slug! Oh, and it's like Contra too but if you've played Contra then I reckon you've probably played Metal Slug.

I had many ideas for this like LeChuck spewing blood and reworking the Metal Slug text to say Monkey Slug but I'm far too lazy so you will just have to deal with this:

I also worked more on Herman than Gubyrush because that was the first thing I started doing before I started getting bored... I have quite a short attention span
Actually, I know more people who like MetalSlug than people who like MI (Of course that could have something to do with the fact that there's a NeoGeo Arcade machine with it in my bar room).
Herman looks perfect and Guybrush looks OK (the two different skin tones make him look a little weird).
MetalSlug would be the perfect candidate for an animated GIF, don't you think?
Oh yeah, I forgot about Guybrush's skin, I got a bit lazy towards the end and as you can see, didn't work on Guybrush nearly as much as I worked on Herman XD I'll edit it now as it's just a simple colour change (hopefully)
I also realised the 500 points came from an item and not from saving him but I couldn't find a decent picture to use at the time and people don't need to know that.. right? still was a good idea making it Monkey Island font I thought XD
