Shut the fuck up Virgil you asshole she is a badass, she's an 11 yr old girl & she's handling herself in a zombie apocalypse better than most of the adults, you don't have to be a superhuman to be badass. Furthermore who are you to dictate what words people choose to use to describe a character, it's an opinion.
For f*ck's sake would you people stop using the word "badass" when referring to Clementine.
Examples of characters that are badass : Duke… more Nukem, Gordon Freeman, John Marston, Max Payne, Ben from Full Throttle, the Dovahkiin, all of Street Fighter characters, etc...
Examples of characters that are not badass : 10 year old girls that any of aforementioned characters could knock out with a simple slap from the back of the hand.
You've resorted to the Internet equivalent of plugging your ears and yelling, "la, la, la, I can't hear you." You've managed to come off as more of a pedantic child than the guy with a dead dog as an avatar, congratulations!
Well, I wouldn't go that far and say that she is the greatest of all time; maybe ONE of the greatest, but not THE.
We still have some cla… moressics like Mario, Link and Sonic
And some new ones like Garrus, Geralt of Rivia, that Psycho from GTA V (Trevor), Ezio Auditore and some others
And who are you to tell me to shut up and call me an asshole ?
Are you really that butthurt because I said things as they were ?
"Badass" used to mean powerful and mean-looking motherf*ckers, characters embodied by the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, etc. It used to be a word that reeked of pure testosterone and sheer manliness.
But it seems that in this sorry age of faggotry and gender theories every single concept even vaguely pertaining to virility is to be distorted until everything means its opposite and vice versa, and your generation of skirt wearing hipsters would call the Hello Kitty cat "badass" if it displayed some karate moves or wielded a cute shiny little sword.
Well, do as you please, I don't "dictate" anything, but I sure have the right to judge you (yes, to judge you) and express my contempt.

lmao sure you're big talk but I dare you to stitch up your own arm with sewing needle and wire you found in a shed. There are adults who'd faint before they could do that. I guarantee you're one of them. I know I am.
Clementine is a badass little girl, and we're not going to sugarcoat our words to make you comfortable in your gender normative diaper baby bubble. She's strong-willed, she sticks to her morals, she's quick-thinking, and she's a survivor. The fact that she's an ELEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL is what makes her more badass than your concept of whatever badass is, because you expect well-muscled adult men to be survivors. You don't expect a little girl to do what Clem has done, but she's done it and she'll keep doing it, and we'll keep calling her badass in spite of your bullshit.

As much as I like Clem...best video game character? Naaah. I have played a lot of games and liked a lot of characters significantly more than Clem. Even Lee alone was a bit more likable than Clem, so...
Clementine is the only character I would risk my life for, if the scenarios in the game were to actually happen.
Damn right she is the greatest character.

No vedio game character effected me like clementine since I was born and believe me I played A LOT OF GAMES with so many lovely characters but clementine is something else.so I am goddamn sure she is THE BEST vedio game character EVER.
sure, but I still like Lee a tiny bit more than Clem. And other characters from other games more than Lee. I just think while Clem is a good character, she is far from the best video game character there ever was.
Honestly, they shouldn't try to give a character that title. It's all about how well different people connect to the character, some people love Clem, some people just think she's a good character with nothing special about her. It's too much of an opinion based question.

Excuse me swagguykiller69 that was rude, hostile and unbecoming of a forums goer. Threatening a poster with direct physical violence is inappropriate in any and all instances.
You should feel deep personal shame for what you've just done.

You might falsely ascribe poetry to anything that's written well or cogently expresses a point perhaps in the same way a troglodyte would gasp in amazement at a smartphone and declare it "magic".
You also incorrectly label the dog in my avatar as dead when anyone who's played TWD Season 2 would know the dog is alive and well in that shot. You do this because your brain can't separate its emotional response with the reality presented. Your brain can't do this because it's probably not a fully developed one as you're no doubt in your early teens.
Why you bridged the concept of poetry with what you've an erroneously designated a "dead" dog with the word "since" is also bizarre...and wrong. What does poetry have to do with a dead animal or my previous post calling you out on your inappropriate behavior? Did you mean "ironic"? If you did, you'd be wrong in a whole new and exciting way.
In fact, it's pretty amazing how in just one sentence you've managed to get as many things wrong as you did. You even failed to use proper punctuation. Twice.
It would be a good idea for you to stop replying to me until you've learned, first, to stop directly threatening people with violence and, in the greater vein, to calm down and in doing so focus your efforts into better posting.
It's neither poetic nor is it a dead dog.

In fact,… [view original content]
Alan Wake, Zaeed (ME) or Teryn Loghain (Dragon age) are characters that come to mind that I can say I prefer to Clementine, don't get me wrong Clementine is well written, but best character... Nope. I personally believe this is just because TWD is mainstream at the moment and IGN love the mainstream.
I do not like making comments in forums, but i'll have to agree with you and clem_is_alspme. I myself played over 400 hours of the walking dead seasion 2. partly because she has emsunes that iv naver seen in other games. like the star and glere with episode 1.
even in episode 5 when bonnie and luke drown, her expression sames dark with requnt. or socpthic kindove. but in a good way.
I also never seen a female protagonists that does not resemble some sort of sex object or a maner role that the coerets killed of soo seen that there always to in grend theft auta games. but this does not apply in to the last of us game only made in ps4. so ill give telltale a lot for a company by relaseing there games to almost every platform.
cute clem I have been keeping track with your posts I cant even stop laughing explerese that chubby cheeks discussion. camp up the good work, you might be young I thick. but really oregine compared to those lee is alive and talking about the game of thanes episode 5 sucks.

Awesome as Kenny's moustache.

Well, I'm gonna have to go with IGN on this one. Clem is a character that I have connected with more than any other character in gaming history.
Nah, better than that. Although it is a pretty cool piece of facial hair, I think Clem's better.
Well, I wouldn't go that far and say that she is the greatest of all time; maybe ONE of the greatest, but not THE.

I got a fucking thumbs down for that.
Connect to. Not idolize. There is a difference.
Lee will always be proud of Clementine. As should we.

If you don't shut up right now,I'll kick your ass!
Now that's a good idea!
FUCK YEAH!
If you're silent at the dinner table while they're fighting.
Clementine is the only character I would risk my life for, if the scenarios in the game were to actually happen.
Damn right she is the greatest character.
Clementine made Lee who he was and Lee made Clementine who she became. You can't just have one without the other, it would make the story lifeless.
No vedio game character effected me like clementine since I was born and believe me I played A LOT OF GAMES with so many lovely characters but clementine is something else.so I am goddamn sure she is THE BEST vedio game character EVER.
I think Lee deserves the first place because he was bad ass and done everything to protect Clem. In my list Clem is the second.
sure, but I still like Lee a tiny bit more than Clem. And other characters from other games more than Lee. I just think while Clem is a good character, she is far from the best video game character there ever was.

I completely agree. Granting someone such a title is just nothing short of asking for trouble.

That's very poetic, since it's coming from a guy with a dead dog on its profile pic

Because you are an awful, awful poster.
I'm an awful poster? You are the one screwing around and trolling people.
Yup
Yes, you're the awful poster.
Glad we finally got to the bottom of all of this.
That's just your opinion.
WELL IT'S JUST YOUR OPINION THAT IT'S JUST MY OPINION.
She's an awesome character but best video game character ever I'm not sure she is definitely top 10 worthy probably even top 5.
Definitely the most emotionally invested I have ever been in a character though
Alan Wake, Zaeed (ME) or Teryn Loghain (Dragon age) are characters that come to mind that I can say I prefer to Clementine, don't get me wrong Clementine is well written, but best character... Nope. Honestly...
As badass as she is, I don't think she is the greatest in my book.
She's definitely the greatest character in the history of video games. 'The Walking Dead' would suck so bad if it weren't for her.
yeaaaa

thanks from wright Micah
For us Clementine is what Rick or depending on who everyones favorite character's are for the comics.
She's full of potential and possibly a light in the bleak Walking Dead world. Then again, this is just an assumption.
