How about we twitter all this to them so they at least know that we are upset with the short times.. I doubt they spend too much time looking at the forums.
Come on guys If you want a change in the short times speak up! You never know they might fix the issue if enough voices are heard, Twitter the directors or designers. They might think we are all enjoying the short times for all we know...
Season 1 Episode 4 was 2 hours 27 minutes. I timed it.
It also featured a lot of boring and pointless walking back and forth through the hallways of Crawford. No, give me 2 hours of quality stuff over 2 hours of quality stuff and a half hour of padding.
I want 2 hours and 30 mins episodes because there is only two episodes left...so they have to make larger episodes enough ..then all of us will going to be happy.....
i dunno... this season has felt alot more action packed/intense. but there's been a lack of story driven plot and a bit too many corners cut. there's alot more than could be done with the episodes, and the time constraint thing they're artifically forcing is hurting it. episode 1 would have had a more natural feeling end had they extended it to the point where clem leaves pete/nick. doin this would have added a bit more time. episode 2's time skip was alright, but it was hard to see how clem could tolerate goin along with a group of people for almost a week and still nobody trusted her enough to tell her a damn thing about what was goin on. then you got episode 3, with carver seeming to want to try to groom clem into his little protege, but aside from the one conversation in his office, there's nothing else to it. a small bit of banter with not a single action taken to try and PROVE that he and clem were alike, or that her choice was the wrong one. there was alot more that could have been done, but for the sake of their 90 min timeline, the time spent in the camp was rushed through, to the detriment of pretty much every character.
in the whole 3 episodes, clem never had a chance to actually talk to people. most of the time she can just smile and nod and the conversation would turn out the same. everyone's either scolded her without really listening, or just talked at her. luke and kenny are probably the only people she's had a proper conversation with. carver was rather disinterested with most of what clem had to say not pertaining to what he wanted from her.
if we end the season without anybody answering the questions of: what happened to make caver snap, why the group felt the sudden urge to leave everything behind and run away, why alvin killed george, what luke is hiding, why they left bonnie behind, why kenny hasn't shaved his beard, who was supposed to be doin the dishes, what drove sarah to go under the house to find the camera, and who rebecca was actually cheating on, and why they thought the answers to these questions so important/dangerous that the felt the need to hide them from clem... then i'll be greatly disappointed.

Everybody needs to stop complaining about the length of the episodes. They have to release each one in a specific amount of time which limits how long each episode is. An hour and a half of gameplay is great so please, shut up. Also, if they did have at LEAST 2 hours of gameplay in each episode, it would take longer to release and then you would have something else to complain about. People are never satisfied.

We won't shut up, I guess you'll have to deal with it.
What do you lose if we are heard? Nothing. What do you win, if we are heard? Arguably, a lot.
Besides, if I were you, I would not worry. Telltale will probably continue simply making episodes as they currently have, so fear not; it looks like those perfect 90 minute episodes are not going anywhere. :/

You can tell a good story with plenty of character development in 90 minutes.
To me, the problem is just that the writing isn't so good. There's a lot of forgotten plot points, no variance in how the other characters act towards you or each other, and a lot of general laziness all around.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Telltale are spreading themselves too thin. All the signs are there. Re-used animations, half-assing small details like Clem's failure death scenes, Not a single "x will remember that" actually being referenced again, the lack of any determinant relationship shifts, ... etc etc. These things have NOTHING!! to do with the 90 minute format and everything to do with TTG half assing things
They don't care what we want. It is cheaper and easier this way for them. They got our money, why should they listen to us? We complain abou… moret lack of communication - they don't really care, same stupid twitter posts, that's all. We complain about hubs - they don't care. We complain about delays - still don't care. They remain silent just like everything is okay. THEY JUST DON'T CARE. They only "listen" idiots who can't play a game that releases once in 2-3 months more then 90 minutes. Or others who don't want TO PLAY a game, they want GAME TO PLAY ITSELF(just press A from time to time).
I really liked Telltale's TWD S1, BTTF because they enjoyed their jobs, they made games that we enjoyed to play. 400 days DLC, which was decent, but short. Then amazing TWAU ep.1, which wasn't short, it was okay. But after that something changed. 4 horrible months of waiting for 90 minutes TWAU ep.2. 75 minutes (!!!) TWAU ep.3. TWD S2 with no hubs, and ab… [view original content]
Bro you can tell that they cut things off the story in order to reach that 90 minute. There is no way in hell you can write a story that has very good character development with only 90 minute on the clock it takes time.
I don't think the 90 minute thing is the problem.

Many would argue that *No Time Left* EDIT:(And yes, I will swallow my pride and admit that, **to an extent**, *A House Divided*) is an example of that, and I would agree for the most part. BUT(T), and it's a stinky one, I would counter that it worked wonders for that episode because it was a finale, and that we had had quite the buildup and development of these people throughout the season. I see no reason to make them *all* 90 minute pieces.
