It's not everything I wanted, to be honest. I could've done with it being a lot slower with more gurgling and blood pooling in and out of Jane's mouth, as well as a wide-eyed stare of horror and pain. It would serve as a sort of call back to her earlier knifing of the Russian at the start of the episode.
Thematically, however I think it works as a natural bookend to Jane's life over Ep5.
Additionally it's an excellent case of character development: We get to watch Jane develop from a living person into a dead one.

I let the timer run out because when it said "Shoot Kenny" or "Look away", I thought both options were referring to shooting Kenny and that "Look away" was to just shoot him while not looking. I was like "Hell no, I ain't shooting Kenny" so I let the timer run out hoping Clem wouldn't shoot him.

Jane is nothing like Carver and she's the one that CHOOSES to let the others in, no strings attached, if you don't make a choice.
Kenny becomes Carver the moment he lashes out at Jane as Carver is crazy over a baby as well. Look at what he did for an unborn Baby? Notice how Kenny didn't agree with Carver yet HE DOES THE SAME EXACT THING when he has ZERO proof that Jane killed the baby.
