Yeah, I did 2 save files and in both I ended up with Kenny in Wellington because it's such an emotional ending ;_; and in one I went in alone, the other I went off with Kenny. I may do another with the Jane ending but I will not let my Clementine be completely alone I mean she has Aj, and the Wellington people ;3
I've seen people say it on these forums in other threads. Augh.
I just wish Jane had said something like the baby was alive. If she had, everyone adapts and grows a little. Maybe they all live. Instead the car could've never been found if AJ wasn't a loud crier.

I just wish Jane had said something like the baby was alive. If she had, … moreeveryone adapts and grows a little. Maybe they all live. Instead the car could've never been found if AJ wasn't a loud crier.
She put the knife away, but she still started the fight by hiding the baby, and she knew he would attack her, so no. The fight is because of her. Kenny shouldn't have attacked her without an explanation, but she manipulated him into attacking her, she was just as responsible as he was for what happened.
I really can't believe people thumbs up this comment.
Jane provoked him to show Clem that Kenny was dangerous, Jane was showing Clem that he was a danger. This is shown when Jane withdraws her knife and at this time Kenny could of calmed down and realise Jane said it was an accident but he ignores that and attacks her, which shows that Jane was right about Kenny being dangerous.
Once the fight started, she could have stopped it by saying AJ was fine, also, if Clem tries to stop Jane, she tells Jane to run, and Jane says, "Not happening", then throws Clem to the ground and attacks Kenny with the knife. Jane provoked the fight, she wanted a fight, she could have stopped it, but she didn't.
Jane knew what she was doing. she knew all the right buttons to press. I even think she puts the knife away to give Kenny an opening. just look at that smug face at 2:23
Yeah, that was exactly my point. I can put myself in Jane's shoes for a moment and understand where she comes from, doesn't change the fact she could have stopped the fight, and it didn't need to end in Clementine having to murder one or let the one murder the other ; it's not a matter of who you like best here but of observation.
It's logical that Jane wants Kenny to leave, cause she know that with Clem Kenny would do something dangerous.
However you got a point: Jane could stop the fight when she wanted
Sorry have to call bullshit on your second point, i agreed with Kenny on a lot of things, killing Larry was the only choice i didn't agree with him, i never treated him like a dick, he treated me like one.
If you help him with Larry he is your best friend (provided you keep agreeing with him) and he saves you in both episode 2 and 3 and jumps at the chance to help you look for Clem, if you don't help him with Larry, he leaves you to die in ep 2 & 3,
treats you like shit (before and after his family dies) and refuses to help me look for Clem, i helped his family every opportunity i got, i agreed with him when it came to him vs Lilly, i just didn't help with Larry.
That for me shows he is a selfish asshole, sure he has good qualities, but leaving me to die twice , refusing to help look for a missing 9 year old all because i didn't agree with him fucking once shows me that the the bad far outweighs the good.
It's amazing how hard Kenny fans distort the facts, forget things or just outright lie in order to justify how much of an asshole he can be.
To end this i just want to say i didn't hate Kenny (lol seriously) he was an interesting character, and i could almost understand why he was pissed about Larry, he felt like he was left holding the bag on a big decision, he never done it to be evil, he felt he was doing it for the good of a group, but refusing to look for Clem ? that was so fucking selfish. This seems like a Fuck Kenny rant i know but i am sick of seeing Kenny fans just ignoring this shit, just because he did not do it on your ...."bro" playthrough, If you kiss his ass at every opportunity hes cool, if you make any decisions or voice any opinions that differ from his he treats you like scum.
Clearly we don't think alike.
Pharmacy with the girl? We got more time and she was dead either way.
Kenny went with me but why would h… moree help you if you were a dick to him?
Killing Duck and the attic walker... Really? You helped Kenny, but he would have done it himself.
And Walter was a mistake (alvin to), everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes are part of success.
It's amazing how hard people work to hate Kenny, just because he is emotional.
I don't know if you know this guys, but if you shot Kenny you didn't shoot him in the head, so you left him to become a walker. Just let that sink in.....
She did that only to protect Clem.
Cmon, all we know that if Clem would lose the baby Kenny would kill her.... unfortunately this is the truth, and Jane knew this!
Jane started it, if someone comes and says, "hey I lost you baby/the baby you were taking care of, Im sorry" you wouldn't be like: hmm It's fine Im sure there are more pregnants ladies. Jane knew what she was doing and like Kenny said she could stop the fight anytime, but her pride was more important.
if Kenny didn't attacked her, Jane would tell the truth and nobody would get killed. This shows that Jane was right, cause she only wanted to show Clem how he reacted if anyone would lose the baby.
It's so good to know that there are people who understand what Jane was trying to do from the start. when Jane appeared without the baby I feared that she had actually abandoned AJ somewhere to die, and then Kenny came out and Jane told me: - Trust me Clem. Now you will see what he really is!
At that moment I immediately realized she had never abandoned AJ. and I also thought: "Holy Shit! this woman definitely has some balls!!"
And then the moment I saw Kenny coming. I thought: "Please Kenny, prove to me that Jane is wrong.. prove to me that you didn't become a runaway maniac." but unfortunately Jane was right. and I knew it was time to stop him for good.

Jane never "accidentally lost" the baby. She purposely stored the baby in the car (which is, by the way, INCREDIBLY dangerous) to make Kenny snap. She purposely staged the situation so so Kenny would get violent. That's why before anything even happens, she tells Clementine, "stay out of this. You'll realize who Kenny really is." She was purposely manipulating Clementine the whole time so that Clementine would go with her and not Kenny.
Yep Kenny started the fight and people keep saying " Omg Jane provoked him " Well if you watch the scene you'd realise that Jane accidently lost the baby and Kenny just assumed she killed the baby -_-
Yeah, I agree with you he was out, but if he knew the baby was alive he would have no reason to kill her, see it like this, that baby and Clem are the only family Kenny has now, Jane was rude and mean to him and yeah Kenny was too, but yeah, I believe he would have stop because checking the baby would be more important than killing her (he even said he didn't want to kill her and also Jane said it) then he would feel relaxed and Jane would explain why she did it (of course he would be pissed but at least he wouldn't have a reason to kill her remember Clem and Kenny thought Jane killed AJ) and everything would be ok. The reason I believe Kenny would stop the fight is because even if Clem shoots him he is nice to her, if she leaves her he is nice to her and apologizes for everything, and he even sacrificed in Wellington for Clem and AJ. You have a point but i think he changed for good even if he sometimes goes full shane.
Kenny said she could stop the fight anytime
You really believe that? Kenny would kill her no matter what she could say to him.. the man was out.. That was what he became.
But if you let Kenny kill Jane and then decide to shoot him, it'll be in the head
I do hated the fact that TTG gave us the option to shoot Kenny for a second tme, but not the same with Jane. Is like they wanted you to be with Jane more than with Kenny?
I don't know if you know this guys, but if you shot Kenny you didn't shoot him in the head, so you left him to become a walker. Just let that sink in.....
Yeah, everybody is a maniac then right? I mean, if you think someone abandoned a baby you loved, you wouldn't jump on him/her? Be honest to yourself...
Btw, I don't know if you agree or not, but Kenny looked bad ass when he was coming full of rage at jane. I was like "But Jane what did you-... Oh oh, you're screwed now woman" LOL He looked like a beast unleashed. Anybody would look like that.
if Kenny didn't attacked her, Jane would tell the truth and nobody would get killed. This shows that Jane was right, cause she only wanted t… moreo show Clem how he reacted if anyone would lose the baby.

The more I watch this scene, the more and more it seems like Jane just wanted to kill Kenny from the start. He went crazy and tried to kill her for what was, for all he knew, an accident, but I'm fairly certain Jane was counting on that to get rid of him. I know that if you shoot Kenny, then Jane says that she never intended for the fight to go as far as it did, but listen to Kenny and Jane from 3:50 to 3:58.
Kenny: "I'll fuckin' kill you!"
Jane: "I... knew you would..."
I mean... yeah. She outright admitted it during the fight. She knew how far he'd go but she did what she did anyway to have a reason to get rid of him. That's why I really can't bring myself to side with Jane anymore. She was completely right about Kenny being crazy and that he was dangerous, but she sent him over the edge on purpose to have an excuse to kill him.
You forget that she wanted to save Kenny since the beginning of Episode 5 though. She told Clem that if the group was to work that everyone had to work together.

She never lost the baby, she said she put him there to prove her point. Not an accident but purposeful. If you listen eventually Kenny tells Jane I'm going to kill you and she responds that she knew he would...but then later says she never meant for it to go that far. Go back and play and tell Jane to run and try to stop her and then shoot Kenny. The things she says contradict what she tries to tell Clem. Jane may have shown Clem Kenny's dark side but she also revealed her own at the same time. Everyone thinks what they want but Jane lied and because of that Kenny died. She might not be crazy or evil but she isn't a hero either. She's a liar.

I mean be fair...Jane isn't stupid and knew full well what she was doing because she was a thinking rational person...right? Either she played them or she's crazy. This wasn't a misunderstanding it was just misleading. If you forgive her then you know she did something that needed to be forgiven. Kenny assumes exactly what Jane wanted him to assume!
You forget that she wanted to save Kenny since the beginning of Episode 5 though. She told Clem that if the group was to work that everyone had to work together.
I liked Jane and shot Kenny but no matter what Kenny was she was a liar. Kenny lost it just like she knew he would. Then she relies on you to kill Kenny save her because she initially tells you to stay out of it...and if you do that she dies. That plan sounds reasonable and well thought out. Plus (not that this means much) Jane is a 20 something kid whereas Kenny is a 40 something man yet she refuses to listen to anything he says or suggests. Kenny did the same but he viewed most of the S2 group as kids...because mostly they were dumb kids! Jane also argued with the only other adult, Rebecca, much in the same way she did with Kenny. Saying shit you shouldn't after only knowing someone for 4 days MAX.
I'm not forgetting that. I'm also not forgetting how she saved Kenny's life at the beginning of the Episode when Vitali was ready to put a bullet through his head. But things happened throughout the course of the Episode. Kenny became more and more unstable and Jane felt she had to do something about it. She was right that he was nuts, that he would lose it. That doesn't mean that she didn't set the entire situation up just to kill him, which she admits to during their struggle.
You forget that she wanted to save Kenny since the beginning of Episode 5 though. She told Clem that if the group was to work that everyone had to work together.
I didn't kill Larry and Kenny had my back even told me to shut up when I said I was going alone for Clem because I had always been there for him when it counts. Some people don't like Kenny but he was supposed to be Lees friend and basically an uncle to Clem. Also would like to point out that every bit of trouble in ep 5 was basically because of Arvo yet still I have seen some defending him. Who thinks our group was the first to be robbed by the Russians? And his sister sure did look sick...thats why he was putting the meds in the trash can about 12 hours from home. He really was a misunderstood hero:/
Also are we basing if Kenny is a good friend by TT's shitty first year friendship equations. I mean most people thought Omid and Christa were impossible to get unless you show your bite...turns out having Clem watch Omid is all you need (and not be a total dick to them)
Point being don't blame the characters on gameplay problems when the narrative obviously says Kenny is a friend no matter what by how he exits S1 (rescuing either Christa or helping Ben.)
I guess people have different definitions of loyalty. Indefinitely agreeing with someone isn't loyalty to me, its just being a sheep. I had … moreKenny's back so many times in season 1, then one time I didn't wanna crush a guys face in with a saltlick.. Well that was it for Kenny's "loaylty" I guess. Friends should be able to disagree sometimes and compromise (a word that Kenny's vocabulary lacks)
Well spending 3 days walking and then saying lets go back that same way when 4 people died on the trip over is a shit plan. If heading North wasn't a good plan why did they all go. That's kinda like walking through glass and then deciding you don't want to get cut, they knew they were marching further North with just Arvo's promise of supplies. They all knew and agreed they needed to keep moving forward. No one made better plans until Luke died and by then the group was already half gone. Too many queen bees and not enough workers so chaos and death ensue:)
If Arvo was shot by Kenny in the beginning would things still have gone so very wrong?
This thread is useless and your points are flawed. We all knew how broken and unstable kenny was. Jane started the fight by doing this test, this has been discussed so many times just look at other threads and past replies.
I just wish telltale gave us the option for kenny to hold jane down while he gave me the knife and we could've beheaded her. Even if she did admit the baby was safe, it'd be too late by then.
Seriously telltale, you guys did it with TWAU. why couldn't we behead jane? lol

You gotta have two endings! Remember! Here's the one with Jane...
Clementine and Jane formulate a plan to rid of Kenny. They all agree to meet up at the rest area. When Kenny comes in, he is greeted by Clem and Jane as they both point guns at him
Clementine: See ya, crusty ol' man
Kenny is shot multiple times across the body. His lifeless body lays on the ground, and Jane places the baby right on Kenny's stomach. Clementine and Jane then gleefully walk off into the sunset!

Not. That's what you think (Which isn't canon by the way)
The true ending would go as telltale originally created at first right now - but would end up with kenny having jane pinned to the floor while she cries for clems help
Clem... eugh.. HE..LP
Then, Clementine would cry "Kenny, Please STOP". She gets up and marches to kenny over jane. Clementine then tells Kenny "Please kenny, give me the knife, pin her down for me, make sure this bitch doesn't squirm."
Jane is then perplexed and cries for help loud, that's when kenny punches her in the face for screaming. Then finally we have the option to Behead her. Of course there'd be alot of blood and jane's crying.
After that's done, kenny and clem wait for Jane's head to reanimate, once it has ; kenny gets AJ and he pukes all over it again. Then we all spit at her head.
Then, Kenny, clem and AJ walk towards wellington where Edith hears what we've done to Jane and she'll let us in no matter what. So there isn't a option to leave with/without Kenny. Edith and all of wellington acknowledges what we've done and we gain so much respect.

Also, when Jane said "You ruined everything!" I think that's when her plan failed and she ended up having to fight Kenny.
Seriously telltale, you guys did it with TWAU. why couldn't we behead jane? lol
And now we get our first extended ending dlc:)
if telltale were to sell that scene for $20 alone I'd pay for that shit. Midnight release.
WTF LOL.....
I'M GLAD TO SEE THAT WE'RE ALL MENTALLY STABLE IN THIS THREAD. SERIOUSLY, I'M NOT TERRIFIED AT ALL RIGHT NOW.
How's that for an ending? Yours was funny too
Not. That's what you think (Which isn't canon by the way)
The true ending would go as telltale originally created at first right now - but would end up with kenny having jane pinned to the floor while she cries for clems help
That's the TRUE cannon ending.
