I have been made aware that there was a thread made with the same purpose as mine in the past, please post there instead of here.

~I don't care about AJ
~I asked to leave with mike

I don't think Jane was wrong in not telling Kenny, AJ was fine. Even when she was about to die.

EDIT: Hmm, that sounds misleading. What I mean is, I don't think she should've told him, just so he wouldn't kill her.

oooh, i just came up with another :P

i was more sad when carlos died then when pretty much anybody else died in season 2 and i didn't even like him

it was just so violent...and sarah's scream...i get chills thinkin' about it

  • I think Jane was right in the end.

I also have little care for AJ.

I was the most disappointed about Walters death because he got fucked over by the cabin group twice.

I thought the stranger and St . John's were better villains then Carver.

I really wanted Nate to be in Season 2.

I wish that Shel's little sister Becca had done something bad instead of Stephanie so I could shoot her.

Although I enjoyed it at the time, I wish Kenny wasn't in season 2 because he haulted the development of many season 2 characters.

I am not anti-Lee death because I thought that was the climax of season 1, if he didn't die season 1 would be no where near as good. I loved Lee and that's why his death was powerful.

I was more upset over Katjaa's suicide than Duck being bitten.

Didn't we have something like this a week ago, thee unpopular opinions thread. Whatever, either way:

    1. I actually care about AJ and will do anything I caan to protect him
    2. I prefer S2 Clem over S1 Clem
    3. Carver was a fantastic villain
    4. Starved for Help is overrated
    5. No Going Back is my favorite episode of Season 2
    6. Season 2 is a great game and I enjoy playing it just as much as Season 1
    7. I don't see the big deal about Nate
    8. In Harms Way is underrated
    • Clem is terrible, she will always be terrible, and i think she may even be my least favorite character in the game
    • I cant see why anyone would like Luke or Jane, Jane to a greater extent though
    • i think Walter should have been the determinant one in episode 2, not Alvin
    • Nick shouldn't have been determinant and he should have lived
    • I'm a pacifist irl, but holy shit i wanted Jane to die and i was constantly hoping for an option to kill her or let her die

I would list my opinions but it would mostly be a copy-paste of your comment.

To be honest I don't think those opinions are such a rare thing to have. Sure this forum seems mostly anti-Season 2, or at least to me, but in actual fact the series received overwhelmingly good reviews for both its seasons for a damn good reason. Probably a big part of those that loved Season 2 are mostly busy playing through it again like I want to do thus why it feels that way. I would put my hand in fire and say that probably 80% or 90% of those who played it actually liked it quite a lot and do want more.

  • I agree that the overwhelming majority of people who played this game liked it, but sometimes it does feel like this forum is completely anti-Season 2. It's their opinion, and I respect that, but it's weird to see this game praised everywhere else but on these forums, it's often trashed.

  • True, All That Remains and A House Divided are definitely regarded as the best episodes by a sizable portion of these forums. In Harms Way I get why it gets some of hate, but I still thought it was an amazing episode, as was No Going Back (even with the Russian shootout blunder). Amid the Ruins is okay at best, I can't say I hate it, there's not an episode I absolutely hate in this series, but it's far from the best.

  • Besides Kenny, AJ is my least favorite character in the entire series.

  • Yeah, i only disliked amid the ruins for Sarah and Nick dying. Everything else in that episode was A-ok in my book. I do wish the shootout in the end was a much more serious of an event though

I didn't really care about AJ either.
I like Jane and think she's right.
I wish we would have been able to confront Mike, Arvo and Bonnie, although it's not really a confession.
What I would have done to them would be though...

*I actually liked Rebecca and Carlos.

*Carver was an awesome villain in my opinion.

*I thought Clementine was a boy when I first saw her... even though she was in a dress.

    *I don't care for Nate.

*Bonnie is one of my favorite characters.

*I like to pretend that Amid the Ruins and No Going Back didn't happen.

    *I hated Long Road Ahead.

  • Aj wasn't a character he was a prop and irl would died long before Wellington

  • edited February 2015

I liked Carlos and thought he was a good father, even if his methods were unethical.

That's pretty much it. Everything else is in the unpopular opinions thread.

    Edited I added More :>

    • I didn't care about Clementine at all in second season.
    • When Clementine got shot, i was happy, and sad at the same time, especially when she didn't die at that moment and miraculously recovered.
    • Becca was more believable as a character than CLementine. I liked Shell as well. I hope to see more of them in the next season.
    • Sarah was more likeable than S2 Clementine.
    • Everyone except the "useless" people, i felt no attachment towards. I felt the closest to Sarah/Nick because of their issues.
    • I laughed when Luke died
    • I didn't know Alvin's name when he died, and when he was shot in the head by carver, i think i did laugh.
    • Spending time with Jane was painful.. GOD SHUTUP Jane , i just met you, don't tell me about your problems. I do not care.
    • I felt the same way when dealing with Kennys Bullshit. Its so annoying, luckily i know someone like kenny in RL who is my RL friend, and being friends with him since before, i learned to be a patient person.
    • I don't hate mike, and think it was perfectly justifiable of why he and Bonnie Left. I feel taking both bags of food was kind of messed up, but i wouldn't hate them forever for a can of beans.
    • I don't hate Arvo either, i like him.
    • I never liked Omid, i thought he was annoying. He made jokes about Lee getting bit, fuck you Omid. After breaking into Crawford to save your life, this is the thanks i get. Your smart ass mouth. If i was lee i would of thrown him down that shaft in anger.
    • I didn't like Christa for yelling at Lee in the train station.
    • When Reggie was thrown off the roof, i laughed out loud. I remember thinking something like " Reggie phone call.... I BE RIGHT THERE...... SPLAT"
    • I found it extremely unbelievable that a "doctor" could not tell the difference between a dog bite and a human bite, I can tell the difference...
    • I was extremely annoyed when they didn't finish Christa's storyline. I was expecting to walk across her corpse, but TTG didn't deliver.
    • I don't really like Russel.
    • I liked Lilly and Larry both. I liked Larry a lot even though he tried to kill me. Lilly was a interesting character as well.
    • I really hate how TTG feels they have to kill everyone off on the last episode. How about a change, why not kill everyone off on the second episode...
*This game takes way too long for it to be released, Let's compare it to GTA5. LOL Fucking outsource your game already TTG.
    • I never really liked Kenny because of his "my way or the highway approach." I would of chose lilly over him.
    • Ben was my favorite character in Season 1, i was hoping he would get a chance to "grow up." but that never happened. Fuck Clementine's story. It sucks. I'm so tired of Clementine, people don't even know. Then they created Sarah, which i personally liked, and they killed her off like she was garbage and laughed about it with that one ableist loser who quit IGN.
    • TWDG Season 3 needs professional writers, Season 2 writing was LAUGHABLE.
    • I liked Troy because of his hilarious catch phrase. "Everything come out ok, girls." I didn't really define him like some of the people here, he was just a follower who got killed. I liked him like, someone can like a song on the radio. I'm not going to invite him over to drink with me, but i might walk up to him if i saw him sitting alone at the bar.
    • I liked Carver and wanted the option to choose him over Kenny, Jane all the rest of them.
    • I liked the school teacher guy, i forget his name. I think he would of been a more interesting character than anyone - Sarah/Nick of the cabin group. I was kind of hoping there would be more Classical Lit references. I liked that a lot.
  • Carver was right in a sick way

Bonnie and Jane are the two cunts

    Nate is a decent guy

    Love me some Lily

    I felt for The Stranger

Don't we already have the unpopular opinions thread

    1. I LOVE Lilly

    17. I hate Arvo

    18. I wish we got to meet Oberson

    19. I hate Bonnie

    20. I hate Carlos

    • Lee and Clementine are nowhere near my top ten favorite characters from the game.

    • Arvo is my third favorite character, with Nick being second and Ben being my all time favorite.

  • this is a fun thread :D

ive hated AJ since the start of seeing her, pointless unemotional plot tool

Jane is the worst character ever created

some of season 2's writers need to learn to write

  • Sarah is a useless character.

I'm not even shocked with Luke's death and I'm not hoping that he's alive.

    Jane sucks.

In some weird way, I sorta like Lilly.

  • Omg finally, someone who doesn't have this massive obsession over Nate! I really don't see why everyone liked him so much, yeah sure he was pretty funny but he was a complete asshole XD

Didn't we have something like this a week ago, thee unpopular opinions thread. Whatever, either way: * I actually care about AJ and wil

  • I didn't like Bonnie, Mike OR Arvo Or Jane........
which is why I killed her lol.

    • I prefer Season 2 than Season 1 due to the sequence of events.
    • Sarah is my all-time favorite character
    • I thought Jane was right on Kenny being too unstable.
    • My first ending was being with Kenny, despite my dislike for him.
    • I find AJ ugly and cute at the same time, it's confusing.
    • I prepare 3 water bottles and some chips when I play Season 2.
  • I prepare 3 water bottles

Jeez, 3 bottles in 90 minutes? I wish I was able to drink all that water xD

  • Season 1 is literally the best game I've ever played.

Season 2 is literally the most disappointing game I've ever played

I'm not pumped up at all for Season 3 because I already know Telltale is beyond saving.

Jane is literally the worst addition to the series.

Kenny vs Jane is a shitty unreasonable climax written by someone who still has the writing skills of a high schooler and the determinant endings show that Telltale has no fucking idea what they're doing and where they're taking the story.

  • i hate jane so much omg

i hate to say it, but when she started talking about her sister i was like "i dont give a shit please stfu"

i really wanted to option to tell her i didnt care (like when you had the option to tell molly that)

  • I already know Telltale is beyond saving.

How the fuck do you already know that? For one thing, Season 2 being "disappointing" is a matter of opinion. For some people, Season 2 could be the best thing Telltale has ever made.

Also, Telltale's recent works would highly disagree with your statement. Both Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands are amazing games IMO that prove what good storytellers Telltale are.

So yeah, just because you felt like S2 was a flop doesn't mean the whole company is now "beyond saving""

Season 1 is literally the best game I've ever played. Season 2 is literally the most disappointing game I've ever played I'm not pumpe

  • We already had a thread like this but whatever I guess

    1. I hated Sarah and was happy we had the option to leave her behind.
    2. Walking Dead game has one of the most annoying and arrogant fanbases IMO
  • I think Clem's jacket is ugly.

  • At that moment, I made Clem look away and ALMOST shot Kenny after Jane's death, but, after a few pondering, I went with him to Wellington.

(Wellington is safer for Clementine and AJ, and IF ever Wellington will fall due to over capacity, Clementine can fend for herself and AJ.)

How come you ended up with Kenny if you thought he was too unstable to be with? Just curious.

  • I wanted Clem to leave AJ and was very disappointed when i didn't see the option to take AJ or leave him in the car or with Jane/Kenny. When I heard why they didn't add the option I was less disappointed in the game because I was mature enough to not be so ignorant and arrogant and keep one opinion and not listen to reasoning behind whatever had happened.

    Have a good one :)

  • *Season 2 Kenny is one of my least favorite characters from anything ever.
