I disagree, I prefer Lilly being an NPC for the exact same reasons Kenny was. Perhaps a DLC where Lilly appears would be nice, but I really would not want to play as the woman who killed Carley/Doug. Even if the story is a redemption arc.
They should've done a Lilly mini series. A redemption story arc or something would have worked brilliantly with her.
But with this, as Tewu… moredin has said above, it's only really a treat for the comic fans as we'll find out what happened in that time.

Honestly, I am indifferent towards this. I'm excited because it's TWD, but a little skeptical because comic Michonne is one of the characters that I want to die. If only TV Michonne were here, even though I believe she's overrated (my opinion).

Personally I'm excited for this. Michonne is my favorite character from the show. I do have some hesitations since I've never read the comic… mores and don't know her storyline there, and her personality seems to be pretty established so I don't know how much player choice is going to affect this. Still, for me they couldn't have picked a better character to follow.

There is still a chance we'll have people like Edith from Wellington show up. They said it wasn't centred on Series 1 and 2 characters. They didn't say they WOULDN'T be in. So there is hope. That being said. Clementine vs Michonne. Both have plot armour. Who survives?
