New Protagonist or Clem for S3?
Lets see what the general consensus is:
Personally I want to play as a new protagonist, I like Clem but its time to move on

I would like to see Arvo/Mike as main characters where you can switch control between Arvo and Mike.
Continuing where they left off, after running off with the food.
After I finished season 2, I wanted someone else. Even though I really liked Clementine, I felt she was done at the end of season 2. Now i'll be happy either way. I just want it to come out already.
I'm sorry but after betraying the players like that I don't think that anyone would like to play as Arvo lol
I don't think Arvo would work too well as a playable character for an entire season, although I think he could work in either an episode or a 15 to 20 minute segment reminiscent of 400 Days.

I think Arvo would be a great protagonist, i could easily see them writing some good story with that guilt. You know he feels bad about what he did, who wouldn't.
I feel like the game needs to be Clementine's story. We've been following her since the beginning, it'd make no sense just to abandon her now. The comics and TV show are Rick Grimes story, the game is Clementine's.
It's not really season 3 without Clementine even in Season 1 when she wasn't the protagonist the story was about her.
I'd want a new one, mainly because it can open up the story to new settings.

I want to continue playing as Clem though I wouldn't really mind playing as a new character as long as Clem is still part of the story and has an important role.

New protagonist. Please get her character far away from Season 3 or at the very least take her out of the protagonist role. Season 2 while I did like it made me absolutely hate Clementine's character. She was way OP, boring, and just all around unlikable in my opinion. I would rather play as an adult again. Atleast stuff would make since like seriously you're gonna have a little girl be able to kick a door in?
Edit: xD at the poll. Awfully one sided even though I've seen most people say they want a new protagonist. Who knows maybe there is a silent majority.

I still hope we don't I agree about her in S2, it made zero sense that she made all the big decisions for the group and
was basically their leader, she is only 11 after all
For the mainstream video game series. I feel it needs to be Clementine or someone that was a close ally from season 1. If it were to be anyone else beside Clem as protagonist then I believe Christa would probably make the most sense. To have a completely new character would feel like a spin off and a repeat of 400 Days except instead of one episode its a entire season guess that could be called "2000 Days".j/k
I don't mind Clementine as player character nor would I mind someone else but if we are talking logically within the series that branches out as a continuation from the original plot from season 1 then yes the game needs Clementine as main character/protagonist or deuteragonist, OR at the very least tritagonist. If that is impossible then that means the series as a whole should be complete and end right now.

At this point sorry to say this was clems story she needs to be the main character to have someone else it would have to be a spin off or a reboot not have someone else for season 3 it would make no sense at all

Not possible. I mean, yes it's possible but not with Season 3. "Season 3" mean there WILL be connections to previous seasons (story, characters, maybe places etc.). In other words, "Season 3" mean that it won't be a fresh start. It'll be a continuation of Season 1 and 2 story.
I think if there is a new protagonist for Season 3 that character should be voiced by Chris Pratt. He could add humor into the new season similar to Omid. I found humor lacking in season 2
Clementine needs to be the protagonist. I love her so much and actually enjoyed playing as her, It wasn't her fault that she made all the decisions it was the lack of writing and stuff. Anyway, I think that a time skip will happen. Probably about two years and that Clementine will be a little older and it would make more sense. I feel this season will be extremely good and Clementine is the character we need to play as. It's her story...not anyone elses.

I want both. I wouldn't mind a new playable protagonist or protagonists in Season 3, and I'd be happy with Clementine sharing that role with them. Clementine still feels like a character that has more of a story to tell, and other Telltale titles have demonstrated they can handle more than one character as a playable lead in a single game, so they should do it.
Exactly! Otherwise its gotta be more of a spin-off than continuation, That would be so strange for season 3 to just up and drop everything that happened in the past 2 seasons.. only to deal with the lives of some brand new weirdos, Might as well save something like that for the sidelines in another 3 episode series as the DLC between Seasons 3 & 4 I would say... If they get to season 4 that is.
I don't care honestly, but i like the idea of someone else. Clementine was too bland in S2 and i don't ever see that changing since she was the same way in S1. She's not interesting at all and i stopped caring for her after S1.
I prefer to have Clementine as a supporting cast and be her own character again, and not act out through the mind-set of the player instead of having a mind of her own.
I have been thinking about that at the end of season 2. I will like to play as Kenny :P . Or-.. still Clem, but I just can't play that game without Lee. What if you bring back Lee ? And play a role that he was never bitten ? Like it was only a nightmare or something-.. Like you did in the season two when you get shot at the EP. 5, you wake up next to Lee and you' talkin' with him. Omg, at that scene I cried, like when you see again Kenny-.. and when Kenny's back after he losts his eye .
