  • It will probably coming to Vita, as soon As every Episode releases.

I'm used to the industry taking a fat crap on the PS Vita but given that the previous Walking Dead games were on the handheld, I honestly expected this to be on it as well. Is PSV left out just initially or for all time?

  • Here's hoping.

  • I hope the 2nd episode comes at the first 2 weeks of march

  • So episode 1 will be

    1. Her on boat
    2. They find that massacred colony
    3. She has a scary dream about her dead kids
    4. They end the episode heading for this colony where apparently the guy/gal that did the killing is
  • Why are people still getting excited over TWD games?

Because both season 1 and 2 were pretty good, imo. Thats why I'm excited for Michonne.

  • can't wait for this game dose anyone know how much the UK price will be?

  • YOOoooooO!!! I'm hyped! Those few months did wonders on the games look. I definitely see an improvement from the trailer. Also It's really cool to actually have the entire release schedule again (It's been so long since they could give a release window for a series). Can't wait to preorder this.

As digital downloads, A TWDG season was £15 a whole with a season pass if I'm remembering correctly. So two episodes less might be somewhere around £10 or so. That would be my guess.

  • This is going to be fantastic! Can't way for this miniseries to give Comic Michonne even more depth and develop Pete. I'm also looking forward to knowing what the hell Oceanside is; it has gotten me very intrigued.

I'm going to be playing on iOS, but I'll sure watch a no-commentary playthrough beforehand.

  • When they said tighter schedule, they meant it. These screens look amazing, February 23rd can't come soon enough.

  • Thank God Telltale is going back to monthly episode releases. That's extremely relieving to hear. Hopefully this carries over to future series after Michonne as well. :D

  • Great news! Can't wait to jump back in with Telltale and TWD

  • I can see why you like that a lot and I'm very happy as well, a lot better than unexpected and far in-between release dates!

  • Maybe because Michonne is not TellTale's character but rather is Kirkman's. That's my guess.

"TellTale Games Series": Essentially, everything but the fictional universe itself is TellTale's creation.

"TellTale Series": TellTale only created the story. Everything else down to characters and canon are another's IP.

I had noticed that, but I didn't think too much of it. Ozzy's find is interesting, although I wonder why they made the minor change from "Telltale Games Series" to "Telltale Series".

Anyone want to speculate here? Seems like it's a boat? If I'm reading that right?

  • Yeah, just go back to the Season 2 waiting threads -shivers-.

  • It seems like it's a group distributed in several boats. Maybe they're the antagonists for the first episode, or the whole series (unlikely). They'll certainly play a big role.

I am kind of disappointed that the colony is called Monroe, though. After all, there was Douglas, Regina and Spencer Monroe in the Comic Series, and then Paul "Jesus" Monroe. Is the Monroe surname that common on that area of the US? That area including the middle of the Atlantic…

  • I live in that area of the U.S. (in fact Alexandria is where I go to school), Monroe is pretty common. I know a family with that name. Plus, I'm willing to bet that the ship/place is named after President James Monroe (who actually is an ancestor of the family I mentioned).

  • So is Michonne going to be its own game, or will it be an add-on to Season 2, like 400 Days was for Season 1?

  • OzzyUKOzzyUK Moderator

It will be a standalone game.

    That is awesome, really!

Monroe is pretty common. I know a family with that name.

So it is fairly easy to come across Monroes, I see.

Plus, I'm willing to bet that the ship/place is named after President James Monroe (who actually is an ancestor of the family I mentioned).

To be honest, I had never heard about that President (sorry if I offended any Americans), but it's completely possible that Monroe Colony is named after him.

    Edit: Typo slip up.

  • He was the Fifth President of the United States. Most famous for the Monroe Doctrine which is all about Europeans not being able to colonize the Americas or face the U.S.

I looked up on Wikipedia for places named Monroe on the East Coast, and I came up with 2 possible locations if it wasn't a boat but an island or peninsula. a place in Monroe County in Florida (Key West is in this) or Fort Monroe, in Virginia, a peninsula and military base. It'll probably be a large ship, like a cruise ship though.

She also has her katana in one of the images, i'm guessing that is part of the dream we see in the trailer.

All those jokes about Kenny and his boat...I can't stop thinking about that whenever I see the word "boat"

  • Premiere episodes or finales are usually the longest, so I'd estimate the 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minute range. I don't see them setting up too much in an hour and a half, as they got lots of criticism about that.
