Sweet! Hinted at in what way?

Actually, there is one major storyline that's already been hinted at involving one of the wives.

  • Ah, true. I forgot because I didn't really follow the show anymore then and only got into it again around the mid season premiere.

  • I feel the same way, never cared about the Kingdom. Shiva was just ridiculous and Ezekiel a weird, weird dude with some kind of superiority complex.

Thank you, apparently everyone loves that character and ive just never seen it.

I feel the same way, never cared about the Kingdom. Shiva was just ridiculous and Ezekiel a weird, weird dude with some kind of superiority complex.

  • Well, I'm disappointed in it, but I'll live, I'll live. I was hoping they were going to do a different cliffhanger, which personally I felt would have been a far better ending.

I can't be mad, I will just be very disappointed. There's a saying 'Anticipation breeds frustration'. I think that holds true for here for many of the viewers.

There's only 3 characters realistically I believe can be it, Abraham, Daryl, Glenn. Daryl or Glenn are my main guesses.

I enjoyed Season 6, especially 6B. My favorite episode would probably have been this one but it's 'No Way Out', which is one of my favorite comic volumes.

There were problems like Glenn's "death", but I think it was definitely one of the best seasons. Might even be my personal favorite.

My hopes for Season 7 concentrate on the fact that they justify the cliffhanger and make more interesting choices as well as keep iconic comic moments in it. We'll see.
    We'll see.

Ingen i got a few questions for you. First, personal thoughts on the cliffhanger? Who do you think is dead? Did you like Season 6? Do you have hope for a good Season 7?

  • No its just sex, hes also firmly anti rape. Killing one of his men when he attempts it. Of course his interaction with his "wives" is still pretty unhealthy and I'm sure some of them feel a bit forced to stay with him.

Again none of the saviors are focused on that closely bar one or two.

Praying it's not rabid childrearing or some weird post apocalyptic harem. That'd be so cheesy.

It'll most likely be expanded on, the reason Dwight has his face burned is because Negan took his girlfriend for his wife and they tried to run.

    Flog61 posted: »

This sounds really weird. There's lots of potential for the show to make an intriguing storyline about the people inside Negan's community. Hopefully they take the opportunity.

  • I seriously think we have to see the full graphic scene to really grasp it.

Well, I'm disappointed in it, but I'll live, I'll live. I was hoping they were going to do a different cliffhanger, which personally I felt

  • Iunno.

I feel like it would just show how Negan operates if this guy who seems to be really high up in command just gets killed by Negan.

  • Man that was One fucking letdown. Yeah! I Said it! F.U.C.K.I.N.G! Cliffhangers should still Close a Story arc. Best examples were S4 mid & Season Finales. That was just bullshit. It was way worse Then GoTs (Game) Ending. Negan was still Pretty Awesome. He god a Little Bead. He got Lucky, Really Lucky.

  • Lots of people are pissed of. I haven't read a single comment/review where people didn't call out the writers on this.

That's so bullshit! I genuinely thought that they wouldn't do it. Has there been fan backlash?

  • So does that means you barely have anything to look forward to?

I'm sure it will be treated more seriously on tv.

Sorry, but yeah, never liked that part of the comics

  • I hope. Getting rid of the tiger would be a good start.

    Things I look forward to:

    • more Negan

    • more Steven Ogg

    • March To War? Maybe too early

    • cliffhanger resolved

    • just the story in general

If I'm honest, as bad as the cliffhanger was, I'm still really looking forward to Season 7.

btw what happened to the idea of a Negan avatar?

Also like i told Firewallcano (i just realised how awesome that name is) Shiva is happening according to Kirman thought she will probably die in AOW.

I hope. Getting rid of the tiger would be a good start. Things I look forward to: * more Negan * more Steven Ogg * March To Wa

  • Oh and finally are you doing these for Fear?

Well, I'm disappointed in it, but I'll live, I'll live. I was hoping they were going to do a different cliffhanger, which personally I felt

  • Here's my predicted road map:

    Season 7A: What Comes After

    Season 7B: March To War

    Season 8A: All-Out War Part 1

    Season 8B: All-Out War Part 2

Season 9: A New Beginning and Whispers Into Screams?

I would be very surprised if All-Out War was not Season 8, or not its own season.

I hope. Getting rid of the tiger would be a good start. Things I look forward to: * more Negan * more Steven Ogg * March To Wa

A good writing why it Pretty much sucked:

They literally ruined one of the most memorable moments of the series because they wanted to create a hashtag so that people get roped into the next season opener to find out #WhoIsIt

You are being played, when a show starts making concessions in it's writing and story because they want to rope people in for the NEXT season, it's time to admit that whoever is in charge doesn't actually care about the quality of the show.

Think about it, they don't actually trust their own writing or characters to simply carry the fan base to the next season. Instead of us knowing #WhoIsIt and then thinking about all the consequences of that death that will drive the next season forward as well as ENDING THE FUCKING SCENE, they chose that the story isn't strong enough to carry people over to the next season and thus literally cut in half the final scene into two seasons.

Cliffhangers usually have some form of conclusion with the cliffhanger leading into the next arc due to whatever just happened at the end of the episode/season. Good cliffhangers are S4a, S4b. Prison arc is done, everyone is scattered and we get a conclusion to the Governor character. S4b starts with everyone scattered and heading to Terminus and ends with the majority of the group united and stuck in Terminus. Clear defined story arcs that have an end goal and reach them while putting the characters in a situation to launch them on their next season arc.

A good cliffhanger doesn't literally cut a scene in two for the sake of "WHO DONE IT!?". You're not completing an arc, you're not giving characters motivation for what comes next, you're just ending a scene before it actually ends.

they're back at it again. I think they're convinced it's carl because 'shadows'. Despite the actors werent there when Negan kills 'X' So no one knows so how could carl have a shadow???

And Chandler Riggs tweeted he doesnt even know yet and he read the script 6 months ago.

  • Well sadly the show hasn't been good for 2 seasons now in my opinion, a lot of episodes dragged on with filler episodes, there are also far too many characters on the show to actually see them all develop or give us that feeling of caring about them like we do about the Atlanta originals for example. There isn't a single Alexandrian character or even Abraham/Eugene etc that i would miss if he or she died and don't get me wrong, i do like them but I don't feel i have connected with them like i have with the earliest characters. That season finale ending though really was a disgrace and insult to the fans. I'm sorry

It was just badly handled but it didn't earn Shark jumping. The series is still great, 20 seconds won't ruin that.

  • Don't be, it's your opinion. I don't agree but its ok.

I hope Season 7 is does well for you.

They have officially just ruined the biggest thing they had going for the show.

This scene was never meant to be a cliffhanger, it was always meant to be a brutal shock. They ruined it

    Such a letdown

  • The controversial cliffhanger aside, I greatly enjoyed Jeffrey Dean Morgen's performance as Negan.

  • Maggie seems like the perfect pick to be Lucille'd to me. People are overconfident that Maggie has immunity because AMC's been hinting constantly at her future role, the one she had in the comics.

We're being given a false sense of security. They're referencing comic Maggie so much so that we'll assume she's safe.

And then BAM! Negan kills her. That'd catch quite a few people by surprise.

I could see Carol taking Maggie's spot from the comics.

  • It takes a lot of the impact away from the scene, tbh. And I really doubt they'll be able to keep it all under wraps for so long.

Ending it with a shot of what's left of the victim's body would be ideal imo, coupled with Negan walking away like nothing just happened, like in the comics, with the group despairing in the background.

It's not like they NEEDED to do this cliffhanger to keep people interested in the show 'til the next season. TWD is pretty darn popular as it is...

  • Me too. I'm sad it got shoved aside by fans:

"JDM was great but the cliffhanger sucks"

Watching The Talking Dead and I do like the way Robert & Scott talked about the cliffhanger etc Found this on tumblr, thoughts? http:

  • Someone won't be turning up for filming, if spoiling dead notices that then it'll ruin it for everyone.

The eeny minee mo scene was fantastic, I was on the edge of my seat. Imagine the sense of dread when the camera finally settled on whoever it was.

The body scene isn't too bad, way better than the current, it would convey the shock the best, but I didn't mind the black screen ending after the beating, but frankly lots of tension and suspense was built up and by the time October comes lots of that will have thawed. I think this cliffhanger will do the show a lot worse than better.

This show used to kill characters off when they felt like it, now they do it for viewership and money, it's not a good thing

  • I heard of that, but now I'm worried the Negan we'll see on TV will be a shadow of the real Negan, because they don't care about him. They're risking ignoring the TV character because, 'at least the DVD will be the true Negan'. After the episode just gone, I have no faith in the writers

Tfw you haven't seen the episode and you are going on this thread

  • With how much the group got stalled after she started having her intense pains, I think chances are that her pregnancy isn't going so well...

And tbh, It'd show that they still have guts to kill characters. That "no one is safe", like they used to like to tell people way back then.
