I've always like dhow they handled Omid's death, not only for what it did for Clem and Christa, but how it set up the tone of Season 2. Omid is the Persian name for hope, and with his death, it, in a way, symbolized the death of hope, establishing the much darker tone of Season 2 right off the bat, especially since it was coming off a sort of cheerful and lighthearted banter between him and Christa concerning the name of their baby. I think you saw that a lot in his writing, there was some good symbolism and subtle foreshadowing in the episodes he wrote. His writing was definitely Season 1 caliber is you ask me.
And like you said, he handled character deaths pretty well (the only one I'm not big on was Luke's death if you decide to shoot the walkers, the one where you go and help him is much better). Not only were they vital to the plot, but they were an impact of a choice made in that episode, such as with Nick (if you say he's just like everyone else) or Alvin (telling Kenny to shoot him or not doing anything if you surrendered). And while her death wasn't vital to the plot, you can get Bonnie killed if you don't break the ice when trying to help Luke. I know people give Season 2 a lot of crap when it comes to choices (some of it is deserved), but I thought Breckon did a great job when it came to choices and their overall impact.
I didn't like ATR at first, but it grew on me when I replayed it and is my third favourite in S2. I thought sneaking into the cabin was a gr… moreeat part. The choice to talk to Alvin and flesh out his personality is neat. And the patching up scene, while unpleasant, was, as you said, very good from a writer's POV.
I like how Nick Breckon handled deaths. None were unnecessary and all vital to the plot. While people shat on Omid's death, it developed Christa's and Clem's characters. Nick's and Alvin's first death made sense (although for Alv I prefer his second death).
It all shows Nick Breckon's skill and personally I'm a big fan.
Oh, he definitely did some parts wrong, I didn't like Luke's death and it would make more sense if he died due to the shootout - but not immediately, only shot in a vital organ so he can deliver a speech.
But out of all S2 writers, he was trying his best the most and is very skilled.

Ok, let me point it out real quick. Here's what will a new frontier episode 1 look like as I see it.
First half of the ep. would travel us back in time to the moment where we killed Kenny/made him kill Jane and then killed him/killed Kenny and go with Jane and so on. What I'm saying here is just the first part of the episode will show us in details how Clem survived these 2 or idk years. And I HOPE that's the time when we face our decisions, choices in the end of episode 5. And YES I know that, if Telltale has decided to kill some character, he or she will die eventually no matter what Lee or Clem did to save them. BUT let's just don't lose our hopes So the time passed, Clem's grown up as well as AJ and then the game drops us to the moment when we already with Javier. It may be that way. I dont know how Clem has met him and when. All I want to say to you guys is that this teaser is not related to the beginning of the episode. It just can't be. It may be the second half of the ep1 or even not the ep1 at all. So relax and wait. It's all we can afford now, sadly.
I love grown Clem more than ever though. Just saying. Pea's out.
I believe that Javier will have the most screen time in Episode 1, because he is the brand new main character of the season, and Telltale has to establish his character so that we give a shit about him. We will most likely see some of his family members, and his perspective of the apocalypse, then at some point maybe during the second half of the episode is when he meets Clementine.
No. Sorry, but they asked if any TTG could be played in VR (virtual reality) and that they wanted it ASAP. To this Job J said "patients ". He didn't say it about S3.
Wow, F17 is going to be a great day. Along with the premiere of Season 3, we'll also get the premiere of GOT S2, their new Marvel game, and the confirmation of TFTBL and TWAU S2.

Hey all. Please remember to avoid making rude comments directed at Telltale Staff members, even if you do not believe Telltale Staff members… more read the forums or if you are not directly talking to them. Thanks.

Hey all! For New Frontier, I am thinking of making a thread similar to Whatever's On Your Mind for Walking Dead fans after some people previously seemed interested in it. What do you think of this? Have any feedback or things you would like to see included?

Whatever's On Your Mind - Walking Dead Community Chat
Welcome to the Whatever's On Your Mind - Walking Dead Community Chat thread. Here, you can use this thread to make off topic general chat with other fans about all things Walking Dead (comics, tv, other video games, etc). You can also use this thread to introduce yourself, get to know other fans, make off topic small chat, etc.
For previous Telltale series, users would make larger general chat threads for things like Character Shipping or off topic fan fiction chat. This time around, we want to make a collective Community Chat thread similar to Whatever's On Your Mind Megathread.
...so what all can you do here?
General Chat about Walking Dead beyond the Telltale series - Discuss other things related to Walking Dead outside of Telltale's game with other TWD fans here!
Introduce Yourself - If you are new to the forums, you can use this thread to introduce yourself to other fans of the game.
Talk about smaller things related to Telltale's Walking Dead that do not deserve a full thread - If you wanted to talk about something smaller, you can do so here.
Post Walking Dead Fan Art/memes/etc (in moderate amounts) - We have other threads for posting Fan Art, memes, etc, but you can also post them here in smaller amounts.
Organize online Multiplayer Meetups/other ways to hang out off site/etc - Be careful and do not share personal information with other users. Please be respectful to other forum users off site on Steam groups/multiplayer meet ups.
Advertise Fan Fiction/other fan content here - If you write a fan fiction about this game/franchise, you can use this thread to link to your fan fiction.
Stick around and check out the broader Telltale Community!
Looking for a place for off topic general chat on the forums? Check out Telltale Talk!
Off topic chat is okay here as long as you are getting to know other fans, but if you want to have larger and more in-depth discussions about off topic things, please use the off topic Telltale Talk section instead. This thread is for general chat about Walking Dead and getting to hang out with other Walking Dead fans. We don't want this thread to be used as a substitute off topic board - this is just for hanging out and being social with other Walking Dead fans in a more relaxed environment.

The forums for a particular Telltale series are more meant for story discussion. This would be more for off topic small talk, social stuff, etc that isn't directly related to the story/choices/etc in Telltale's games.
For some reason, I'm getting the feeling that there's going to be some really hard choices that could result in the death of some of his family members...
(I know determinant characters don't really have much involvement in the story, but Doug/Carley and Ben did, so maybe they will this season)

So many wd threads would be confusing. Let the original 'whatevers on...' thread stay original without any duplicate thread for a particlar game.
Waiting threads are meant to e for users to share 'whatevers on their mind' about the game/episode, so let everything be as it is. Its nice to see so many new comments and visitors on this waiting thread...

I would go with AdamRoberts in this issue. It'd be comfortable for everyone, if the amount of topics stayed how it is. Or maybe even you can cut it a bit.
Pea's loud.
I wonder what kind of episode names they're going to come up with for this season.
Actually, on that topic, it must be pretty hard to come up with episode names, given that they operate on the same three-word rule that the comic does.
Seriously, go back and try to come up with different episode names for the previous season in only three words. It's pretty difficult to come up with good ones/fitting ones, or ones that don't sound similar to the current names.
I can imagine Telltale just dedicating an entire day just trying to come up with episode titles. Like, they just gather around a table, open a dictionary, write down different words, and just try different combinations of three until they find something that works.

ROFL still no news, still waiting desperately, anyway I go back to play The Wolf Among Us.

While everyone waits for news... who wants to go out back and get high?
You mean drugs?
Edit: Decided to make Lee follow up on his promise:
Even with that cut on Lee's face he still looks really nice and approachable.

In response to someone who asked when the trailer of Season 3 will be published, Job Stauffer said "patience ".
It was two days ago, on Twitter...
No he means balloons.
Dont forget everyone, if they said the game will come out in November, and its November 6th, and it isnt out yet, its delayed. This is indeed a fact!
I've heard that it's delayed to F17.

Yes, my bad, sorry.

Haha. They've always been quite good at titles across all of their games.
I think the first episode will be called something like 'the untold stories' and the last one will be called 'rebirth of civilisation'
It's really hard, I've tried that.
It's still impressive that they managed to come up with fitting names for all eleven episodes without sounding too similiar.
They did do that, but not for the episode titles. They did it for the achievement names of No Going Back.
The wait for Episode 1 is probably the most painful wait I've ever had for a video game.
Seriously. It tops my prepubescent, 13-year old hankering for a Call of Duty game.
S1 E1: Adventures In Babysitting.
S1 E2: Crazy Cannibal Carnage.
S1 E3: Kenny gets sad.
S1 E4: Kenny gets mad.
S1 E5: You will cry.
Okay, that was hard, and I wasn't even trying to think of good names.
Never posted.... but telltale, this is just ridiculous. I WANT CLEM! (No hate on telltale)
Also, hi community.
welcome, enjoy the hellfire till the trailer drops
It'll be out soon.
We'll get it eventually.
