  • She should've just played pool with him.

YES SHOOT HIM EDIT: YAAAAAS I swear to god if she missed

  • Imagine if the next 25 minutes are just Carol and Morgan and we wait until february to see what really happens.

Imagine how pissed people who be if the episode ended right after Rosita took the shot.

  • That would be the most anticlimatic scene ever then

No I lied, season 6 finale was still the most anticlimatic

Man, why does this show always kill the fat people? Denise. Fat Joey. Olivia.

Olivia actually had some fun scenes later on that I really wanted to see.

  • That shit escalated real quick.

  • If I was in the apocalypse I would probably be Spencer. Like everything he did this season is something I'd do. Although at the end I think or at least hope I wouldn't straight up be as painfully obvious to imply that I want Rick dead.

  • I respect this. And its not like Spencer was a bad guy, or even incapable. He was just naïve.

  • The feels. It's really emotional.

  • Damn....is it over?

  • Who is this guy?

  • Okay is this mystery guy the most interesting character on this show as of now or what.

  • You know, that ending reminded me of when Jesus discovered Alexandria.

That guy they stole from, he's totally pissed. He seems crazy.

I still can't believe they just killed Olivia like that.

  • That's the guy they stole from I think. I think his name was on the sign last episode, William something?

    Who is this guy?

You know, that ending reminded me of when Jesus discovered Alexandria.

It's definitely a remix of how Jesus discovers Alexandria in the comic.

End of the issue, Alexandria at night, mysterious shrouded figure spying on the community through binoculars. Definitely meant to be the show's version of it. Except not with Jesus, obviously.

  • I guess the mysterious guy who looks like Jesus is really Jesus' cousin Jesús.

  • It's a curious thing isn't it?

I can't exactly think of anyone in the comics that could be. I wonder if it will be one of the people from Oceanside.

Maybe it's a show only thing. Perhaps to spend an episode or two on so the show doesn't go straight into March To War, which technically would have started tonight.

  • Maybe it's Paul Monroe, also called Jesus. There is no Paul Monroe on the show. ;)

This episode isn't quite as explosive as I wanted it to be especially with the multiple cliffhangers in the previous episodes, but it's still solid for what it is. I do like how the multiple stories were tied together (even if a couple of them either didn't go anywhere or didn't reach their full potential.) I also thought the episode's climax was shocking and intense and the ending was great foreshadowing for events yet to come.

    8/10 for me.

In the mid-season premiere, we have Jesus (Paul Rovia) on screen, talking to Maggie

    when suddenly

    WHAM

dropkicked in the face by Paul Monroe, the REAL Jesus, who ties him up and drops a bombshell on us; Paul Rovia was an impostor who tried to kill the real Jesus and take his place

Maybe it's Paul Monroe, also called Jesus. There is no Paul Monroe on the show.

  • its the stranger from TWDG

  • Okay so...only 2 months. That's fine by me. But I hope that AOW will be awesome and give me satisfaction.

  • First good episode this season. I lol'd at Negan, 'Hey, Rick! Look everyone, it's Rick!'

  • That episode was insane! I give it 10/10.

Spencer getting gutted was the highlight of the episode for me. That is still one of my favorite deaths in the comic and the show definitely did the scene very well.

I also like the reunion and more hopeful feeling at the end. And I am extremely curious about who that mystery person spying on Alexandria is.

And I wish Carol would just die already. I am so sick of her!

  • AOW is probably next season actually. It still seems like they have enough to delay it.

  • 10/10 Absolutely perfect This episode was great!!!!

  • Negan without his beard reminds me of Ciarán Hinds aka Mance from Game of Thrones. :D

That guts scene was pitch. Fucking. PERFECT.

This episode was so fucking good! I honestly did not expect them to completely show the full disemboweling. Damn, Daryl went full Negan on Fat Joseph. Also RIP poor Olivia :(

I really hope they do more episodes like this, where each episode follows multiple characters and perspectives rather than making an episode all about one group/character.

  • TV Producers be like: "Hey, that's a good idea! Let's adapt it!"

Right down to one of them being pulled under by a zombie

  • I wish they'd stop killing off characters without giving them a bit more character development, at least with the minor and secondary ones.

  • I was sooooo scared Negan was going to kill Eugene..

  • RIP Spencer and Olivia
