Will you be able to get back at Arvos ever?
So... Arvos doesn't seem like the type to survive a zombie apocalypse for that long and he ended up running on foot with Mike and Bonnie. I don't think you'll ever get the chance of killing him which I so wanted to do. Maybe in a flashback with Clementine it maybe possible in the New Frontier but who knows.

I don't think we'll see any of them and personally don't care haha
Their persona is over and should stay like that . No need to bring anyone back anymore (Unless it's Kenny as a Ghost just killing zombies n shizz )

Seems a little pointless to bring back characters just to give players the opportunity to kill them.
Cmon. Give the crowd some blood. They are graving for it. Seriously now, I do not care. Arvo is not a bad character. He is just on the wrong side of the road.
No, move on.
Yes he is and doesn't deserve to come back.
I don't care where he is now. I just want EVERY old character to stay away from Season 3 because it's getting better. But if he shows up again, I'll kill him in 1 fucking second.
Agreed on 2nd part.
Personally, killing the guy was never really that big a deal in my opinion and it was more dealing with the aftermath of his actions, namely how it affected him and/or Clementine and what would happen should they meet again that I was more interested in.
While I was originally on board with having him return, the more and more information we got about ANF(read: a teaser trailer and an Amazon description hinting at the plot), the less interest I had about "Season 3" in general and so that interest peter'd out as well.
Now that the story has truly begun, I'd rather he stay gone unless his inclusion would actually add something "not too big but not too little" to the story beyond "Oh look, it's that boy from Season 2 that was supposed to be a villain! Ha-rumph!"
Didn't they want to go complete opposite directions then what Kenny or Jane wanted, seeing how unrealistic and stupid it would be that we magically meet them again, is something telltale would do.
I found out that if you do not help Luke on the ice, Bonnie will try to instead and both will fall and die. So then Arvo leaves with Mike only. Seeing this assures me that Arvo and Mike die soon after. I hate that Mike became a punk as I had hope in him in all honesty.
Considering he has a fucked up leg and seems to be kind of an asshole its safe to say he either died or was killed by someone he tried to double cross. I really don't mind him that much, though, but I would consider killing him depending on the circumstances.
And originally, Mike was supposed to be determinately killed by Clementine as well.
Even Clementine?
EDIT: I forgot the "?"
No. She is the main goddamn character.
I SOOOOOOOOOOOO wanna go on the rant that mitigates Arvo's circumstances..... Like, you have NO IDEA how much I wanna go on a rant!
That's disgusting.
Do the rant! Do the rant!
And HEAVEN ABOVE knows the shitstorm I'll cause...
Must... Resist... Temptation....
I sure hope so. An eye for an eye, right?
Clementine will lose her sister amidst a firefight that she never intended to happen; will be abducted; kept in the cold; denied any food or water; and abused several times by a one-eyed monster?
The firefight was never the problem, it's him shooting Clem. Really, that's it. I felt bad for him up until that moment. He still shoots her regardless if you give Mike the gun and even ask to go with them.
Um...
I liked Mike up until he started hating on Kenny, then I was like "thanks writers for ruining another new character." Arvo probably winds up betraying Mike again, lol.
To be fair, it was less him hating Kenny and more not tolerating his increasingly aggressive behavior, especially given his treatment of everyone around that time. But I get you.
What would be the narrative purpose of bringing Arvo back just so players can abuse him some more?
That part made perfect sense given Kenny's behavior.
It would seem pointless to bring him back just to kill him, even though I hate him.
I think that it was more that Kenny was tired of babysitting everyone at this point. It added salt to the wounds when Arvo nearly got everyone killed and yet everyone was taking his side. I probably would have beat up Arvo also. He was 14, so it wasn't like he was 5 or anything.
Thanks, Daze.
I was so happy when Kenny beat the living shit out of him.
I want to have him killed by my own choice.
Oh, well, if he's not five, then it's perfectly okay for a 40 year old man to beat up crippled, helpless teenager.
No doubt Kenny probably did think of it as babysitting instead of trying to impose his will on everyone else.
So, no good reason, just for fun?
Arvo should never have been introduced.
Episodes 4 and 5 of S2 should have been about escaping Howe's, being pursued, a battle between the two groups and the final choice about watching Carver die.
I hate the guy. I told Jane not to steal from Arvos and then this prick tells his buddies that I did steal from him. That pissed me off to no avail plus he endangers the group with a shootout and gets Luke's leg shot. And then he's acting like it's our fault that his sister died. Fuck him, I want him dead right center.
What?
After Arvo nearly got them all killed, including a pregnant woman due to the actions of another person, then yeah brag on Arvo, whatever lol.
That is the simplistic view of the situation.
I was actually putting quite a bit of thought into that and other things back when I was open to having him return. Given that the writing had been very pandering during the second half, it was kinda inevitable that at least making Arvo a bit of a butt monkey would be involved.
