[Season 3 Pondering of The Day...]
Why didn't Clem find a bicycle? You can get pretty far on a bike in one day, and go off road and carry… more it up the stairs. You can't carry a truck up the stairs. Are bikes not cool in a ZA? Is that the unwritten rule, that everybody's gotta have trucks and horses, or walk on foot? Where are the biker gangs shooting guns and ringing their little bicycle bells?
If she really wanted to leave the area, that girl should've peddled, or gotten a skateboard, or roller blades. Scooters are cool...I really want a scooter...
Why didn't Clem find a bicycle?
Or why not zombies as vehicles? Pull a carriage or something like at the end of "Shaun of the dead" movie? Be creative game, come on.
I don't know why I even like the game anymore. By all accounts, everything inside of me is screaming about the numerous plot holes and whatnot, but yet...I love it, the game is still enjoyable and the story isn't even that bad just short or oddly paced at times with plot holes and whatnot.
The length the pacing the character interactions the lies about 50/50 clem Javi gameplay bullshit the shitty flashbacks the poor choices the list goes on and on and on
Since Clementine is my favorite character, the thought of keeping her as a prisoner had never for a microsecond crossed my mind. I'm really intrigued to learn more about Clem's history with the New Frontier, and AJ's whereabouts.
You know, as masochistic as it sounds I'm actually looking forward to Episode 3.
There are a bunch of plot points that could really add t… moreo the intrigue of the plot if done and explained correctly - How is The New Frontier organised? What's this apparent conflict between them and another group according to Jesus? What's David been up to exactly? What's really behind Clementine and will she actually open up and afford the truth to Javi, considering she's still obscuring him with details about her past with The New Frontier - plus she hasn't even told him about AJ.
And yet I know for an almost certainty that we're going to get little to no character development/interactions, forced conflicts and more choppy usage of choices. Add insulting elements of 'playability' with Clementine and her flashbacks and, of course, shocking episode length which instantly drains me of any hype.
Despite this, I can't help but want to find out what the hell is actually happening.
Hah, I actually saw something like that in the zombie manual I got cheap the other day. A drawing of a carriage being pulled by zombies like horses it was funny XD

Am I the only one who seriously dislikes Kate? I know it sounds horrible, but I really wish it had been her instead of Marianna, who was my favourite out of Javi's family, my second being Javi. I really don't like her pessimism and attitude towards the kids, not to mention her decision to get high in the beginning. If she didn't want to be a mother she shouldn't have married David, who I can't believe she married anyway considering how he treats her. I know we've barely seen any of David, but I can't see why she was attracted to him, and they must have had some kind of relationship before marriage. She should've known what she was getting herself into, and now she's throwing herself at Javier? And don't get me started on what she says to Javier when he tells off David.
"Javi that is my husband. We are married. In case you forgot... That's for life."
OHREALLYNOW?! You're the one who seemed to have forgotten that!
The second Telltale gives me the option to leave her for dead, I WILL.
Also, Telltale, GabexClem isn't even remotely funny. She has more important things to worry about and deserves way better, not that I dislike Gabe. I'm just scared he's gonna become his father. If he becomes like Javier, I wouldn't mind though. Maybe.

Honestly most fans for whatever reason regard clementine as holier than though with none being worthy of her. Which....heh seeing her character in ANF minus survival skills isn't that appealing.

If Episode 3 is where the story really starts kicking off - it's late. We probably have 3 hours of story left (since Episode 1 was stupidly split into two and each episode is one hour long). Season 2 wasn't as good as Season 1 but it was still miles better than Season 3. By Episode 2 I already knew some of the characters, etc well and kind of was connected to them. In S3 - that's not the case. I still don't know much about the characters.
All we can hope for is they listened to the criticism.
However, I hope the new lead writer will improve Season 3.
The rest of the episodes really need to at least be 1.75 hours long, otherwise it's pretty much a damn rip off.
I'm looking forward to episode 3 for a very simple reason
No matter what happens to this series, what direction it goes in, or whatever T… moreelltale ends up doing with it, there will be a part of me that will always love this game series
and that small part of me still wants to see where S3 goes
The other parts of me are still interested in where the season goes, though. I got my problems with how some things were handled, but I wouldn't consider S3 to be a complete lost cause yet. And I have a feeling that despite the first two episodes being somewhat lackluster, episode 3 is where the actual story of S3 will finally get its footing-- we've got a central conflict more or less set up with the reintroduction of David, along with both his and our affiliations with the NF, and most of the characters as of this moment have motivations for what they're doing or how they feel about one another, so the table has more or less been set for the ne… [view original content]
Isn't that jumping to conclusions? We're not even mid-season. ;-;
I'm sure that regardless of what people are saying, they all gonna be excited about the release.
I guess they could still go back and change it so that it's only one episode, nobody would fault them for it and I can't imagine it'd take m… moreuch work to do a bit of re-labelling.
Of course, then they'd have to commit more time to the game so that they can make what is essentially a 6th episode.
fingers crossed eh?

Same man. I'm nowhere near excited when S2 had its premiere.
Thinking back, ending of "House Divided" was a pretty damn good cliffhanger and everyone was looking forward to see Carver's community from the inside and learn more about his motives. Following the example, we should be making endless theories about New Frontier and their ideology, while I'm not sure do they have any.
Fair enough about chemistry tbh, but Idk how it's only gonna be bad? Honestly Glenn and Maggie, Rick and Andrea/Michonne depending on universe, Omid and Christa etc. Are some of the strongest relationships in the series imo and show that such things are important, apocalyptic life shouldn't only be concentrating on daily food and water and survival, or there's no point
I guess Gabe and Clementine could have a good relationship but uh...
Wouldn't that go against Clem's established character in ANF? She's always on about how people always die or fuck you over so why would she even wanna consider a relationship.

I don't think Telltale ever explicitly said it would be 50/50 between Javi and Clem. If you can point me to where Telltale said that, I will happily retract, but until then, that was always something the fans were hoping for. I do recall Telltale saying that Javi was the focus of the story, and while that was a decision that pissed many people off, it wasn't a lie.

Why not both? Seriously, that drawing was terrible, and Ben just takes the bandits' word that they had his friends without asking any follow up questions, like which friends they are, or if he can see them, or why should he trust them?
I completely agree, UnchartedKingdom. I'm not a fan of Kate either, and I do believe that Gabe is attracted to Clem, but she has no romantic attachment to him. She may just consider him to be a friend or a mutual acquaintance.
I think that's what people don't realize is just because one character likes another doesn't always mean it'll happen..but maybe I just watch too many romantic dramas. xD

I hope Clem and gabe doesn't happen because it would just feel forced. Just because he is the same age as her doesn't mean they need to be together. Heck, its not even necessary to give Clem a love interest. At least not now.

I would not be surprised if Clementine became a NPC for the rest of the season seeing where telltale is taking ANF.

No. Not even close.
Telltale would probably charge us if they ever added a 6th episode - hell, they won't even add a 6th episode! They're lazy - as shown by ANF!
Negative comments really do affect the mood here, jeez
I don't see why people get like that about Clem and Gabe. Let them do what they wanna do. Also, no one should expect anyone to be like their parents
I just don't see any chemistry and even Clem knows that getting into that sorta thing will only end up being bad

Ben couldn't either and he was many years older than Duck. That says something about either Clems drawing skills or Ben's (lack of) intelligence.
I don't like Kate much and I don't mind Gabe x Clem but I see it as a one sided crush. Just because Gabe might like her doesn't mean it will happen.

Oh, that I totally wouldn't mind, cos I like him too. Just a little scared that he's gonna get his ass kicked for trying something with her.
I choose "I can't read the future."
Is it a tiger, a lion, some weird brownish zebra, I don't know. God Clem, I love you, but never become an artist.
