Short scenes is honestly my biggest problem with this season, I know Lees death was a season end, but lees death took like 5 to 10 minutes, … moreand I was crying throughout it all, we barely get any time to do anything in A New Frontier, I dunno, while episode 3 was alot better than previous episodes, it still doesnt have that "Walking Dead" vibe I got when I played season 1 and 2, we never have a scene like sitting in the house with Luke, just talking and reminiscing Lee, or talking in the Ski Lodge, or staying at the motor inn, A New Frontier doesnt feel like the desparate world that season 1 and 2 was in the same way, I dunno
Does anyone know which choice leads to "He was the only family I had left...", since I am getting "That's what I get for trusting other people" or something similar?

So, there the big consequences play roll, in a little sentence. Nice done telltale.
I didn't even know there were different things she could say there.

David puts Javi in a cell first thing, only coming to get him bc Kate asks for him.
Kate is obviously terrified of David. He was a shitty husband before and seemed to be a shitty brother too. Never came back for months to even look for his family.
He didn't want you saying anything to the.people who MURDERED his own daughter, regardless of reason, a concerned father would DEMAND justice.
Clementine continuously warns about David. He declared AJ guaranteed to die and refused to treat him further, yet kept him from Clem for... What reason exactly?
Kicked Javi out of Richmond without even trying to appeal it. Just gave him a little treasure map.
But now we're supposed to forget all this and believe he's Saint David now just bc he helped "bring you back to the new frontier btw" to make things right. Well, ok?
I don't trust him either. Especially when he finds out about Kate and Javi.
I don't trust him either! I don't think he's up to something necessarily, but something about him is off. I was really hoping that he'd beco… moreme a better man, but something is still not right.
I don't understand why people are so eager to defend him, I understand that he's Javi's brother, I do, but the only time David really seems to remember this is when he can get Javi to do something for him. He was planning on forcing Javi to leave Richmond! IF he really loved his brother he would have fought tooth and nail for him to stay, and if that didn't work, then once Kate recovered they could all leave together, as a family. I mean, come on David, the guy has raised and protected your kids (sorry Mari) for YEARS! Even if Javi wasn't his brother, he OWES him.
Also, it's like people forgot what happened with Clementine! Okay, so David kicks Clementine out for trying to save AJ, it's horrible and completely heartless, but I get it. He's being pra… [view original content]
Ok, some people disagree the fact that Javier hugging Clementine is in character because he only knew her for like 3 days but did you guys forget that Javier lost someone as well, being Mariana? Did he look like he deserved it? Did it look like Mariana deserved it? She was like a daughter to Javier and both had a great relationship. Javier needed a hug from someone who was on her age as well. Clementine lost AJ and Javier lost Mariana, both deserved a hug.
I agree, it seemed so weird to jump to hug her because she is our Clementine. Hugs should be special, like Lee hugging her after they got reunited and she hugged Kenny when he nearly died taking the blame. Hug with Javier was just unnecessary, they haven't even got to know each other well enough to share such a moment.
I dunno... if anything, the whole scene kind of just made me feel uncomfortable. I just don't think any of the characters this season have h… moread enough of an impact on her to start getting that close, not even Javi.
That's just me, though. It's great to know that it had some emotional weight for you guys.

Yeah, I 100% agree. Lee's death is probably one of the things that has made me cry the most in any game. I've played through season 1 three times now I think and I bawl like a baby every time.!

Yeah the music is a huge factor, re-using music is a good thing!
100% dawg
The music just makes everything more... Argh.
Fuck the double post.

And?
Maybe you get "that's what I get for trusting other people" when you make Clem and AJ go with Ava in one of Clem's flashbacks?
I know that. I was talking about the lack of interaction between Clementine and Conrad after the hostage plan.

Then you weren't paying attention.
David's not perfect, but he done good this episode.
I'm pretty sure that I rejected her.
Yes, this a million times!

When was this?
Doing the silent treatment may have missed some things...
After the flashback.

Read the last comment of this thread. Your point is invalid.
Has anyone noticed that we don't SEE Alvin Jr.?
Just saying; I think that choice with Clementine may have meant something; David may be telling the truth or he may be lying.
