I was partially referencing to how she helped tie various plot points and themes together, gave some sense of discarded identity to the otherwise faceless Save Lots Bandits (yes, that includes the fact that she was raped by her former coworkers, ya fuckin sadist), and acted as a testimony to how mankind itself is a greater evil than the walkers ever were.
