i think what frustrates me most about RE2's music choices is that in the original the music in itself was such a prominent part of the game that it could be considered it's own character, and the atmosphere of the game is heavily strengthened by each set of rooms having it's own theme. however, the remake not only removes a majority of that music, but the music it does keep is either recomposed into an infinitely more bland version of an iconic song, or it's mixed so badly with the game's audio that you cannot hear it at all. the only pieces you can manage to hear are boss fight themes or that shitty droning instrumental when zombies are attacking you.
yet if you use the classic music pack, the original's music is not only flawlessly integrated into the game with proper mixing and placement, but it also perfectly fits the modern atmosphere despite being in a game released 21 years prior. so i really have no idea what they were thinking when they decided to change it so drastically.
RE7 though really aces the usage of music. super into it.
I worked the whole day on this video. It was soo frustrating realizing how many words I misspelled, making me export it more than 3 times. But I finally got it.
As for the video, I'm sharing what I liked about RE7 more than RE2.
Ended up Birds of Prey seeing this a few days ago. I was wondering why this movie was underperforming according to a headline, but ignoring things like contentious creative liberties, the wrong sociopolitical message getting rumored, or the R rating being strict, I unfortunately see a little of why.
It was eh, being one of those movies that gets better as it goes, but seemingly does so little by little per act.
I really want to go back and continue my platinum hunting in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice but I just don't feel like I'm in the mood for it right now or anytime soon. I enjoyed that game and such but unlike Dark Souls and Bloodborne, it kind of lacks replay value due to not being an RPG and feels more linear.

That would be cool an all but when I listen to my recorded voice, I cringe a lot and I would be lying to myself if I say my voice is breathtaking.
HOWEVER. I got an idea. I'm planning to do playthrough of Resident Evil 3 Remake and The Last of Us Part 2 when they come out, with commentary and put it on youtube.
Same here, when I was on Facebook giving out a happy New Year’s to all my friends I had to say cut a couple of times like a director because my voice was horrible I sounded like a 13 or a 16-year-old talking so I had to say practice continuously until I got it right and without no minor stuttering when I get nervous .
I’m like Double D from Ed Edd n Eddy when I get nervous .

Welp, Hilda Fans... We've got ourselves a teaser poster!
I also read a tweet on the subreddit that a few days ago sound mixing for Season 2 officially started.
The greatest rule in the history of sports is the NHL Emergency Goalie rule. In a hockey game, each team has two goalies, the starter and the backup. However, there is a third goalie, provided by the home team, that can become available to either team should both goalies go down and are unable to keep playing. I’m unsure of the actual selection process as to how these teams pick them, but those people are provided seats and food for the game, and are pretty much just there in case they’re needed. Rarely do they ever come into the game. It did happen a couple of years ago for the Chicago Blackhawks, where both their goalies were injured, and a 36 year old accountant named Scott Foster came in for the remaining 10 minutes of the final period. Foster, who never played professional hockey, played only in college and for a local league, and (as mentioned) is an accountant, stopped all 7 shots from professional NHL players.
Well, this rule came into play again yesterday between the Carolina Hurricanes, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Canes goalie was injured, and thus, the Maple Leafs had to provide for them their emergency goalie, their 42 year old zamboni driver named David Ayers. That’s right, the Maple Leafs we’re facing off against their own zamboni driver...and they still lost. That is absolutely hilarious.
And to make it even better, he did it on the 40th anniversary of the Miracle on Ice, the greatest hockey game of all time.

Oh. My. God.
That's too funny to be true. Goddamn, Toronto. I know people poke fun at our team a lot, but this is really embarrassing.
You will never be able to change my mind on this.

In light of the traffic being a bit lighter (for obvious reasons), would you guys object to us loosening the rules and allowing memes to be posted here again instead of having their own designated thread? I wouldn't plan on merging the threads (they'd still be kept separate), just that you guys would also be allowed to post memes here since this thread gets more attention.

TBH, I can't blame them. After the first seaso-Actually, the whole IP, from comics, to TV and Games, it just overstayed its welcome. The Walking Dead in general is just not special anymore.
Yeah, Season 2 lost itself after Episode 3. I still hate the J.T. Petty for ruining everything. He was never a Telltale employee to begin with. He even ruined my love for Outlast franchise.

I'm with the other people. I'm all for loosening the meme rules, but tbh I forgot there was a rule against it.
I guess traffic's been so low there hasn't been many memes here for a while. (though Poogs and Deku have stepped it up a bit)
So I have a question. I recently played the opening but I dont know if I want to keep going. The combat feels super clunky to me. Did you use a controller or mouse and keyboard, my man? Thank you, my dude.
As is tradition, Epic is giving away some free games and since this time one of them is one of my favourite games Kingdom Come, I feel oblig… moreated to tell you all about the deal. So, if you haven't played it yet, you should grab it while you can, because it's indeed an epic game.

This is how Bryan Dechart and Amelia feel about TWDG series as a whole lol.
I've heard that they've had a real problem with the amount of death and depressing moments in TWD games. Those pictures encapsulate that despair perfectly.
And... oh boy... if they're that uncomfortable with the game now, they'd better not play ANF Ep1. Marianna is the most heartbreaking and frustrating of deaths. Just... dead. In a second. Like that. From a guy with an overjoyed trigger finger.
Curse you, ANF writers.
Yeah no matter how much I like the second and to an extent the third season, they really don't give the characters enough time to just be happy for a bit. Hopefully they end up making it to the Final Season where the characters are actually given time to just hang around and do stuff.

Mouse and keyboard. I'd advice against using a controller, because from what I heard, lockpicking is a nightmare with that.
Yes, combat can get clunky, especially if you're fighting against multiple opponents. However, keep in mind that Henry is just an illiterate peasant, so he's supposed to be quite shit at combat in the beginning. You're more likely to have your ass handed to you than actually winning, so don't be afraid to run away if you get overwhelmed. Once you actually train a bit (and learn master strike, that shit's OP), it gets much easier. Also there are usually several ways how to resolve quests, there's no need to always take the most direct route.

Or just simply give them the boot! But that's not as fun.

Have you ever thought on doing a voice commentary as you review from bad to worst?

The 2020 baseball season is quasi-underway, it’s the first day of Spring Training games. It is time for baseball.

Hyped.
It's no Gravity Falls, but it fills the hole in my heart well enough.
tfw TWAU S2 won't be out for another 2 years and you've got nothing to play:

Played Batman Shadows EP3 a while ago, finally wrote about it. Lots of good pictures in this episode, too.

I support this movement
[gets 2 forum likes and a response from Poogers 15 minutes later]
okay, that's all the deliberation i need. memes are allowed here.
When you play TWDG and your tired of people getting killed too often

Season 2 was a really fucking depressing overdose.
To be honest, I wasn't even aware that memes weren't allowed here lol.
Holy monochrome, Batman!

After getting my new phone and downloaded COD : Mobile ,is far too easy for me I expected a challenge but I recked 28 players in a match.
PUBG it’s ok but it has too many campers and I go crazy like this guy when I get killed by a camper .
I agree with this, but haven't we been posting memes anyway?

HELL YEAH, MY MEMES WERE RECOGNIZED BY THE FUCKING AMAZING ASS CHICKEN HIMSELF!!!
Week 5
The poll has not been proven true or false yet. I have become insane.
Re: all replies
There wasn’t really a “no memes” rule, we just sorta discouraged excessive memes or posts with only memes.
WTF...🤣

Not to mention those environments are gorgeous.

My internet provider throttled my fucking internet for the 8th week in a row
